PURPOSE:To prevent a scatter of an image at a guide member which receives an image supporting material from a carriage belt by providing a self-discharge type electrostatic discharger which turns between a carrying means and a fixing part and by bringing its tip part into contact with the image suporting material. CONSTITUTION:A toner image on a photosensitive drum 17 is transferred to paper 3 and then carried electrically on the paper as an unfixed picture; and the paper 3 is carried in close contact with a carriage belt 15 by positive charge 5 on the reverse surface of the paper 3, received by a fixed plate-like guide member 2, and guided to a fixing part 1. Between the belt 15 and guide member 2, a rotary self-discharge type electrostatics discharging brush 18 is provided to eliminate unnecessary positive charge on the reverse surface of the paper 3 by the brush 18 when the paper 3 carried by the belt 15 comes into contact with the brush 18, thereby causing no scatter of the image at the position of the guide member 2.
