Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a head capable of improving the quality of printing with easy manufacture by forming a nozzle port simultaneously through repeated adjustable exposure and etching after the formation of a photosensitive resin layer on a flat plate. CONSTITUTION:After the formation of a photosensitive resin layer 3 on a flat plate 1, a mask 10 is covered to shield parts intended to form a pressure chamber 4, an ink path 5 and a nozzle 11 on the top surface thereof. Then, a part of an exposed sections are etched away by exposure. Subsequently, after parts for the pressure chamber 4 and the ink path 5 are shielded and a nozzle part is covered with a mask 12 for exposure, exposure is performed again to etch away the unexposed section. Thus, the intended ink jet head is obtained.
