A composite insulating tape made by fully laminating kraft paper on both sides of a plastic film is connected in the form of a base paper roll (width 200 to 1500 pieces) before slitting, or as a slended tape in the middle of being rolled by a paper winding machine. It's about how to do it.

In the figure, II and II are composite tapes to be connected, which are made by laminating kraft paper 13 on both sides of a plastic film 12. To connect, match the ends of Composite Tape II and II, and apply a thin layer (20 to 100μ+) on both sides of the butt.
71) 14 pieces of kraft paper are pasted together using adhesive. Note that all 14 pieces of thin kraft paper may be pasted only on one side of the mating portion.

Since the connecting kraft paper 14 is pasted on the l1ll+, this part becomes locally thick, making it easy to create local discontinuities in the power cable after the conductor is wound. Also, if it thickens locally, that part becomes locally hard, and when it passes through various rollers just before being wound on the conductor, it cannot follow the radius of curvature of the rollers, and the kraft paper for connection at the connection part becomes hard. There is a disadvantage that the tape 4 is easily cut and the tape breaks easily.

The connecting kraft paper 14 may stick to the kraft paper of the composite tape on the outer layer or the inner layer.

As is known from No. 38237, when the kraft paper of the composite tape is fully conditioned and fully moistened, the adhesive, even if it is initially dry, absorbs moisture over time and becomes soft, eventually causing the connection to fail. The connecting kraft paper 14 may ooze out into the outer layer or the inner layer, and as described above, the connecting kraft paper may stick to the kraft paper of the composite tape in the outer layer or the inner layer.゛If it sticks as described above, when the paper winding machine starts winding the conductor completely, the kraft paper of the composite tape on the outer layer or the inner layer will be peeled off starting from the stuck point, and it will no longer look like a fixed tape. There is a risk of losing everything.

提供せんとするものである。The present invention solves the above-mentioned problem r:5. This was developed to solve the problem. The ends of the composite insulating tapes on both sides to be connected are appropriately peeled off, and the plastic films on both sides are in a butt state, and at least one side of the plastic film and the other side are connected. By joining the kraft paper so that it overlaps and gluing the entire inner surface of the overlapped paper, there is little local increase in thickness at the joint, the connection is strong, and if necessary, the adhesive can be applied to the outside of the joint. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for connecting composite insulating tapes that can completely prevent oozing.

特徴とする複合絶縁テープの接続法である。The present invention provides a method for fully connecting a composite insulating tape made by laminating kraft paper on both sides of a plastic film.
Peel off all the kraft paper or plastic film on one side of the wood part of each of the ends of the tape on both sides to be connected, and when all the ends are joined together, the plastic films on both sides are 5- In the joined state, This is a method of connecting composite insulating tapes, characterized in that the plastic film on at least one side and the kraft paper on the other side are arranged in a superimposed state, and the overlapping inner surfaces are bonded with an adhesive.

- Peel off the kraft paper 3 on one side and cut and remove it, and the terminal part 4' of the composite tape 1' on the other side is attached to the kraft paper 3' on one side and the plastic film 2'. After cutting to length and removing, the tapes 1 and 1' on both sides of these steps are fully connected, the plastic films 2 and 2' on both sides are in a butt state, and the plastic film 2
and kraft paper 3' are placed in a superimposed state, and the inner surfaces of this overlap are bonded together using adhesive Z'f 5. During this bonding, if heat is applied with an iron or the like from above the kraft paper 3', the moisture in the adhesive 5 will easily pass through the kraft paper 3' and come out, so that the adhesive will not dry and harden after being applied. early. As the adhesive 5, for example, natural water-soluble rubber glue, starch glue, etc. are preferable because they do not completely deteriorate the electrical properties after immersion in oil, are inexpensive, and are easy to handle.
この方法によると、接続部の厚さ増加は無い。According to this method, there is no increase in the thickness of the connection part.
