Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は記録再生円盤に関し、その目的は、ディスク表
面に硬化膜を設は表面を保護し、誤再生を防止すること
にある。
一般にビデオディスク(VD)やコンパクトディスク(
CD )などのディジタル記録再生装置においては、光
学式方法や静電容量の溝付きおよび溝なし方式などがあ
り、光学式の■やCDなどの記録再生円盤(ディスク)
の条件としては、機械的な強度が大きく、耐熱性や耐湿
性などの経時変化が少なく優れていることの他に、ディ
スク表面がキズ付きにくいなどが必要である。
光学式記録再生装置であるCDの概略図を第1図に示す
。1はプレーヤ本体で、2はディスク、3はディスクの
裏面にある光学式のビックアラ!装置を示す。
第2図に従来のディスクの構造図を示す。
4は透明ディスク基盤、5は金属反射膜、6は信号のピ
ット、7は樹脂製裏面保護膜、8はレーデ光、9は表面
部(レーザ入射面)である。
レーデ光より照射された光は、ディジタル化された信号
のビット6より再生され、D−A変換され音として再生
される。
ディスク基盤はアクリル(PMMA )やポリカー?ネ
ート(PC)などの樹脂で、インジェクション方式やホ
トポリマー法などで作られるため、樹脂製裏面保護膜7
や表面部9は樹脂の生地のままであるため軟らかく、キ
ズ付き易いという欠点がある。
本発明はこれらの欠点を補うものであり、ディノタル信
号金属反射膜面やディスク表面を硬化し、表面にキズが
付きにくく又、誤再生を防止するものである。図を用い
て説明する。
第3図は本発明のディスクを示す。
10は無機質による酸化物の金属反射面の保護膜、11
は同材質よりなるディスク表面(レーザ光入射面)の保
護膜を示す。材質としては、セレン(Ce ) 、シリ
コン(St ) 、チタy (Tl) +アルミニウム
(At )などの無機質の酸化物である酸化セレン(c
eo2) +酸化シリコン(S+02) 、酸化チタン
(T+02) 、酸化アルミニウム(At203)が適
し、これらは高硬度の透明である。また、厚さは数10
0X〜数μmが適し、その付着方法としては、ス/4’
ツタリングや電子ビーム蒸着法などの物理蒸着法(Ph
−ysical Vapor Deposition 
)や化学蒸着法(Chemical Vapor De
position )がある0このようにして得られた
無機質の酸化物は、数μm以下の薄膜であっても、表面
硬度が高く(ビッカース硬度:数百kg/■2)樹脂の
数を倍である。
従って、ディスク表面にキズが付きにくいため、誤再生
などの問題が生じないという効果がある。
また、ディノタル信号面とその反対側のレーザ光入射面
である表面とを同じ材質の無機質の酸化物を使用するこ
とにより、同時に酸化膜の形成ができるという特徴があ
り、しかもこれらの酸化物は透明であるという特徴があ
るためディスク表面には最適であるなど、工業上有益で
ある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. (1)  ディスクのディジタル信号面とその反対の光
    入射面との両方の表面に、同じ材質である無機物質の酸
    化物を保護膜として設けることを特徴とするディジタル
    信号記録、再生ディスク。
  2. (2)  該酸化物は、CeO2,5in2. TiO
    2,At203などの透明で高硬度の薄膜であることを
    特徴とする特許請求の範囲第(1)項記載のディジタル
    信号記録、再生ディスク。
