Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）周壁に沿って多数の孔を有しており、入口２と出
    口３とを備えた管１からなり、この管の内部には管の内
    表面に接続きれた中間壁１２゜１３．１４が配置されて
    おり、該管１はガス不透過性の外殻４．　５．　６によ
    って囲繞されており、この外殻と管との間には空間が形
    成されており、この空間は、外殻と管とに接した隔壁１
    ０．１１によって複数個の消音室？、　　８．　９に分
    割されており、該隔壁は中間壁の間に位置しており、こ
    れらの隔壁により排気ガスは、中間壁の前で管から流出
    して隣接する消音室内へと流入しさらに該消音室から管
    内のこの中間壁の後へと再び流入し得るように構成され
    た内燃機関の排気ガス用消音器であって、各中間壁１２
    ．１３．１４には、前記多孔管の軸方向の排気ガス流を
    生起させるべく、複数個のガス通過孔１５．１６が設け
    られており、該排気ガス流は各中間壁の前で流入してく
    るガス流に応じたものであることを特徴とする消音器。
  2. （２）隔壁間の間隔が、軸に沿った流れの方向において
    、連続的に増大していることを特徴とする実用新案登録
    請求の範囲第（１）項に記載の消音器。
