  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 シャンクホルダ１のチップ座２内に菱形板状の超硬合金
    からなるスローアウェイチップ３が取付けられるように
    したスローアウェイバイトにおいて、 前記スローアウェイチップ３は、その鋭角をなすコーナ
    一部分に段部４を形成し、この段部４内には、超硬合金
    の支持片６上にダイヤモンド、立方晶系窒化硼素等の多
    結晶焼結体からなる切刃層７を超高圧高温下で焼結固着
    した複合刃先５がろう付けされ、しかもこの複合刃先５
    から逃げ角が構成されるような傾斜側面８を形成してお
    り、また、対角関係にあるコーナ一部分では、垂直側面
    ９を有するとともに、その頂角部分に接近する取付は穴
    １０が穿設されるようになっており、−？　　１　　＋

    により、チップ座２の後方でねじ止めされるようにした
