Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂薄板と軟質熱可塑性合成
樹脂シートとの新規な高周波溶着法に関するものであっ
て、■縁が手指などを損傷しないようにする小さい玉縁
な同縁に自然にできるようにすること、■従来の加工法
と同程度の加工能力を確保すること、■優美で安全な製
品を得るようにすること等を目的とするものである。
本発明は加熱した特別仕立の上部電極で高周波溶着する
ことによって上記の目的を達成するものであって、以下
、本発明の実施例を図面に依拠して説明する。
先ず、下端面の外周縁から途中までを内方に向ってほん
の僅かだけ(できる限り小さい角度にすることが望まし
い)上傾する緩斜面(1)とし同じく途中から内周縁ま
でを内方に向って急な勾配で上傾する急斜面(2)とし
た自己加熱用ヒーター装置(3)′付きの上部電極(3
)を構成し、この上部電極(3)を下部電極(4)の上
方に配装する。
然るのち、下部電極(4)の上に絶縁シート(11を敷
設しこの絶縁シー) (11の上に硬質熱可塑性合成樹
脂薄板(5)と軟質熱可塑性合成樹脂シート(6)とを
同硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂薄板(5)が下側となるように
重合し且つ両者(51(6)の間に厚紙芯材(7)を挟
入して載置する(第1図参照)。
次いで、上部電極(3)を押下して其の下端面を軟質熱
可塑性合成樹脂シート(6)の上面に於て厚紙芯材(7
)の周縁の外側個所に所定大きさの圧力およびヒーター
装置(3)′にょる所定温度の加熱で圧着せしめ(第2
図参照)つりこれ等上下両電極に高周波電圧を印加する
(第3図参照)。
更に、この印加による溶融と上記の加熱書=よる溶融と
上記の圧力とにより上部電極(3)カー沈降(第4図参
照)して同上部電極(3)の外周縁カl絶縁シー) Q
lの上面にほぼ達した時点で高周波電圧の印加を停止さ
せると共に上部電極(3)を上昇させて元の位置に戻す
尚、上部電極(3)に加熱装置による加熱が施されない
で行う分子の回転摩擦熱を利用する従来の高周波誘電発
熱は、上部電極の先端部ζ二基ず数ミクロンの薄膜が残
って溶断することカミなり1ようになるが、本発明は上
記のようζ1上部電極(3)を加熱装置により加熱して
高周波溶着を行うようにしたので、上記の薄膜をよ1ノ
薄くすることが可能であって後述する不要部分のちぎり
取りによる除去が容易になり且つちぎり取り跡がきれい
になるものである。
次いで、上部電極(3)の戻り直後の未だ薄肉部が冷却
しないうちに被加工物(11)を電極(31(41間よ
り取去して不要部分(余剰部分)(8)をちぎり取り法
により除去する(第5図参照)。
斯して、上部電極(3)の緩斜面(1)による薄肉状の
溶着部分(9)を自刃(自然冷却による収縮力のバラン
ス)によりカールさせて溶着を完了する(第6図参照)
本発明は叙上の通りであるので例えば硬質熱可塑性合成
樹脂薄板を以て構成した周壁の裾まわりに外向きフラン
ジ状溶着部を一体に有する皿形状ケース本体を下面に軟
質熱可塑性合成樹脂シートを当てた厚紙芯材の上に載置
して当該ケース本体の外向フランジ状溶着部と軟質熱可
塑性合成樹脂シートとを厚紙芯材の周縁の外側に於て相
互に爆着する(ケース本体を下側として行う)等の場合
に採用できるものであって、当該溶着は極めて容易に為
し得る著効があるのみならず上記のように溶着部のちぎ
り縁は自然に且つ確実にカールするのでこの部が完成品
の使用者の手指に損傷を与えたりする危惧がなく。
また急斜面側による爆着よりも緩斜面側による爆着の方
を長い時間おこなう方法であるので例えば厚紙芯材(7
)の図に於ける左上の角に対応する軟質熱可塑性合成樹
脂シートの角部分が所謂焼き切れたり薄くなったりする
ことがない利点があり、更に上部電極を殊更に加熱して
おいて溶着加工を行いこれにより上記のように薄膜をよ
り薄くすべくしたので不要部分のちぎり取りによる除去
が容易になり且つちぎり取り跡すなわちカール部分がき
れいに仕上って好ましい等の優れた効果を奏するもので
ある。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 下端面の外周縁から途中までを内方に向ってほんの僅か
    だけ上傾する緩斜面とし同じく途中から内周縁までを内
    方に向って急な勾配で上傾する急斜面とした自己加熱装
    置付きL部電極を構成し、この上部電極を下部電極の上
    方に配装すると共に下部電極の上に絶縁シートを敷設し
    、この絶縁シートの上に硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂薄板と軟
    質熱可塑性合成樹脂シートとを重合して載置し、然るの
    ち自己加熱装置により加熱された上部電極を押下して其
    の下端面を合成樹脂シートの上面に所定大きさの圧力お
    よび上記の加熱装置による所定温度の加熱で圧着せしめ
    つつこれ等上下電極に高周波電圧を、上部電極の外周縁
    が絶縁シートにほぼ達するまで印加して当該印加を停止
    すると共にこの停止後に上部電極を上昇させて元の位置
    に戻し被加工品の取出および不要部分の除却を行って上
    部電極の緩斜面による薄肉状の溶着部分を自刃によりカ
    ールさせることを特徴とする硬質熱可塑性合成樹脂薄板
    と軟質熱可塑性合成樹脂シートとの高周波溶着法。
