Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔発明の利用分野〕 本発明は、消臭剤に関するものである。
〔発明の背景〕
汚水処理場、ごみ焼却場という特別な場所に限らず、自
動車、冷蔵庫、あるいは住居などいたる所で悪臭は存在
する。このためトイレなどの強い悪臭には芳香剤を用い
てマスキングすることが行なわれている。しかしながら
この様な芳香剤は臭いが強いのでかえって不快な感じを
与えることが多い。そのため自動車、冷ＲｔｒＬ、住居
などでのそれほど強くない悪臭に対しては芳香剤は適当
でなく、植物油や金属イオン水などを主成分とした悪臭
を中和する様に消臭剤や悪臭を吸若する活性炭が使用さ
れている。
しかしこの様に消臭剤や活性炭は効果が選択的であり、
満足できるものではなかった。これは悪臭の原因となる
化学物質がたくさんの種類があるためである。そこで消
臭剤に関しては様々に特許が提案されている。最も近い
公知例では特開昭５８−１７３５５１の油脂から誘導さ
れる界面活性剤、シナモン油、酸および少量の水性溶媒
を主成分とする消臭剤がある。しかしこの消臭剤も、ア
ンモニアなどのアルカリ的性質をもった悪臭に対しては
効果があるが硫化水素の様な酸的性質をもった悪臭に対
しては効果がなく、やはり悪臭に対しては効果が選択的
であるという欠点があった。
〔発明の目的〕
本発明の目的は、どの様な悪臭に対しても作用する消臭
剤を提供することにある。
〔発明の概要〕
本発明者等はまず悪臭の成分について調査を行った。そ
の結果悪臭はアンモニアやアミン類の様なアルカリ的性
質をもったもの、硫化水素、乳酸の様な酸的性質をもっ
たもの、さらにガソリンやベンゼンなどの様に非極性の
ものの３つに大別できることがわかった。まずアルカリ
的悪臭と酸性的悪臭に対して両方に作用するものを検討
した。
その結果両性界面活性剤が相方に作用することを確認し
た。これはアルカリ的なものに対しては界面活性剤の酸
の性質を持った基が作用して中和し、酸的なものに対し
ては界面活性剤のアルカリ的性質を持った基が作用して
中和を行うからである。
このとき同様な効果をねらってアニオン系界面活性剤と
カチオン系界面活性剤を混合しても、効果が相殺されて
しまう。
さらに非極性の悪臭に対しては葉緑素が効果があること
を確認した。これは葉緑素が悪臭に対して包接作用があ
るためである。葉緑素と両性界面活性剤を主成分とした
消臭剤は十分に効果があったが、さらに悪臭を吸着させ
ることにより効果を増大させることを検討した結果、塩
化コバルトが優れていることを確認した。葉緑素と両性
界面活性剤と塩化コバルトを混合し水溶液の消臭剤は各
種の悪臭に対して効果があることを確かめ本発明を完成
したものである。
〔発明の実施例〕
次に本発明の実施例について説明する。
葉緑素　　　　　　　　　　　　０．２５ｇ塩化コバル
ト　　　　　　　　　　５ｇカルボキシベタイン型界面
活性剤　５ｇを水２００ｍρ中に溶解し、かんでんによ
りゼリー状とした。
１０Ｑの密閉容器中にアンモニア、ｎ−へキサン、硫化
水素を約１１００ｐｐとなる様に入れ、その中に各種の
脱臭剤Ｌｏｇを入れ悪臭成分の濃度の減少を北用式ガス
検知管により測定した。結果を表１に示す。
表１かられかる様に本発明によれば、アルカリ的悪臭の
アンモニア、酸的悪臭の硫化水素、非極性的悪臭のｎ−
ヘキサンに対して効果がある。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明によれば、各種の悪臭に対して、中和。
包接、吸着の３つの性質により対応できるので顕著な消
臭の効果を有するものである。
