- 放電室外筒、及びこの放電室外筒に取り付けら
れた上流側磁極板、同じく放電室外筒の上流側磁
極板とは反対側に取り付けられた下流側磁極板、
この下流側磁極板に取り付けられたスクリーング
リツド、これら放電室外筒、上流側磁極板、下流
側磁極板、及びスクリーングリツドによつて囲ま
れた放電室、この放電室内に設置された陽極、上
記放電室外筒に取りつけられたホローカソード、
上記スクリーングリツドと平行に放電室とは反対
側に取りつけられた加速グリツド、上記放電室外
筒をとり巻くように取りつけられた磁場発生器と
からなるイオンエンジン装置において、スクリー
ングリツドのイオン抽出孔の形状を正六角形の亀
甲模様としたことを特徴とするイオンエンジン装
置。
