In the above method, a method in which adhesives are used to bond to the base material at the same time is known. [Problem to be solved by the invention] The disadvantage is that gaps and overlaps tend to appear at the joints of resin-impregnated veneers. Furthermore, the resin impregnated into the veneer leaks out from the end surface of the veneer during hot pressing, resulting in a phenomenon called "whitening" in which the leaked part becomes white. This whitening phenomenon often occurs in a mottled manner at or near the butt end, giving an uneven appearance and reducing product value.

In addition to the advantage of being able to compensate for the insufficient resin content,
This material is suitable because it has good adhesion to the resin-impregnated veneer, but other materials such as suitably colored resin-impregnated paper or thin melamine resin-impregnated paper laminates can also be used. However, the band material is not limited to the resin-impregnated band material, and veneer, thin paper, etc. that are not impregnated with resin can also be used as necessary.

。As shown in Figure 1, when such a strip material is layered on top of the joint part of a resin-impregnated veneer so as to hide it and cured under heat and pressure using a means such as a hot press, a beautiful decorative board is created. is obtained. In addition, in the case shown in FIG. 1, from a design point of view, a similar strip material is placed around the decorative board, but the surrounding strip material may not be placed.

The veneer and the base material may be bonded together using an adhesive such as a urea resin adhesive or a urethane adhesive.
