Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 長手方向に複数の色が所定ピツチおよび所
    定順序で繰り返して着色されたカラーインクリボ
    ンを用いてカラー印字を行い、前記カラーインク
    リボンの色の変り目と終りとを検出して前記カラ
    ーインクリボンの移動を制御するものにおいて、
    前記カラーインクリボンに１つの検出センサーを
    臨設し、この検出センサーの出力を第１、第２設
    定値とそれぞれ比較する第１、第２比較器を設け
    、この第１、第２比較器の比較出力の組み合わせ
    に基づいて前記カラーインクリボンの色の変り目
    と終りとを検出するようにしたことを特徴とする
    シリアルプリンタのカラーインクリボン検出回路
    。 (2) カラーインクリボンは、長手方向に１行印
    字分のピツチでイエロー、マゼンタ、シアンが順
    次繰り返して着色されるとともに、終りに銀色が
    着色されてなり、前記カラーインクリボンに臨設
    される１つの検出センサーは、前記カラーインク
    リボンに光を投射する発光ダイオードとその反射
    光を受光するフオトダイオードとからなる実用新
    案登録請求の範囲第(1)項記載のシリアルプリン
    タのカラーインクリボン検出回路。
