Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔技術分野〕 本発明は封止型の光情報記録媒体に関する。
〔従来技術〕
ディスク状情報記録媒体の封正に用いられる接層剤には
、封入される記録材料に影響を及ぼすことがないように
(1)硬化の際に反応副生成物のないこと、(2)溶剤
を含まないことが要求される。そのため通常はエポキシ
系接層剤が用いられる。しかしながら、エポキシ系接着
剤上用いる場合、硬化の際の加熱によシブラスチック基
板が変形する、硬化に時間がかかる等の問題がある。ま
た常温硬化型のエポキシ系接着剤を用いることが提案さ
れているが硬化時間が長い点では同じである。
そこで、近年紫外機硬化型接着剤が注目されてきている
。これは上記(1)および(2)の性質を備えている丸
め有望なものであるが、硬化反応が2ジ力ル重合反応に
よるため大気中のm素がラジカルを消費してしまい表面
の硬化が遅いという欠点を有している。特に、いわゆる
エア・サンドイッチ型の封止ディスクにおいては、封止
内部の接着剤表面が硬化不足となシ未反応単量体成分が
封止内部に揮発し記録層に影響を及ぼす。その対策とし
て硬化雰囲気が画素を除去すること具体的には窒素雰囲
気中での硬化という方法が考えられるが、工業生産では
設備が大がかシになるという問題がある。
一方、接着部に記録層が存在する封止個情報記録媒体に
おいては、基板上に存在している記録材料と基板との密
着強度があまシ強力でないために、記録層/基板界面か
ら層剥離が生じてくる危険性が大きいことは良く知られ
ている。
また、最近になって記録材料として有機色素が種々開発
され、この中には溶剤塗布等によって極めて簡単に記録
層を形成することが可能なものがあシ、このことが有機
色素を用いることの大きな利点のひとつとなっている。
上記溶剤塗布法の中でもスピンコード法によれば最も精
密な成膜が可能であるが、このスピンフート法によシ記
録形成を行う場合には接着部に記録層を設けないように
するマスキングは困難であるという欠点がある。そこで
接着剤塗布前に接着部の記録層を除去すれば充分な接着
強度を確保できるのであるが、この場合は記録材料の除
去工程において発生するm埃のために製品記録体の欠陥
品が増大する、すなわちエラー率が高くなるという新た
な問題が伴う。
〔目的〕
本発明は上記問題に鑑みてなされたものであってその目
的は光情報記録媒体の封止信頼性の向上にある。
〔構成〕
本発明者は光情報記録媒体の封止用接着剤について種々
検討した結果、表面硬化性のすぐれた下記一般式(I)
の化合物と接着部の記録材料を溶解するが記録材料に対
する劣化の小さい下記一般式(II)および一般式(I
II)の化合物をそれぞれ見出し本発明をなすに至った
すなわち、本発明の上記目的は2枚のディスク状基板の
うち少なくとも1枚の片面に有機色素記録層を有する1
対の基板管同心的に配置された内周スペーサおよび外周
スペーサを介してまたは介さずに該記録層が内側になる
ように貼合せる際に封止用接着剤として下記一般式(I
)および一般式、(II)tたけ一般式(Ill)の化
合物を含む接着剤を用いることによシ達成できる。
表面硬化性のすぐれた一般式(I)の化合物はを表わし
、L2は を表わし、mは0または1であシ、nは2〜4であp、
R1はメチル基またはエチル基を表わしモしてkは1〜
4である)によって表わされる。
また、接着部の記録材料を溶解するが記録材料に対する
劣化の小さい一般式(II)および一般式(III)の
化合物は ハ2 CH2<HCOO&H2V 0COCxH2(m)(式
中、職は水素またはメチル基であシ、lは6〜15であ
シそしてI′は4〜6である)によって表わされる。
なお、本発明では上記一般式(りおよび(2)または(
III)の化合物を含む封止用接着剤を用いることによ
って充分な接着強度を得ることができるが、さらに接着
強度を向上させる目的で一分子中にアクリロイル基(C
H2=CHCOO−)  を1個有するアクリレートモ
ノマ・−いわゆる単官能上ツマ−を組み合せて用いても
よい。かかる単官能モノマーの例としては以下のものを
あげることができるがこれらのみに限定されない。

1(mは2または3、nは1〜4) なお、単官能モノマーの選択に際してはその揮発性が低
いものを選択する必要がある。
本発明における封止用接着剤は望ましくは一般式(I)
の化合物  40〜70重量%一般式(2)の化合物 
 10〜40重量%単官能モノ!−   0〜30重量
% を混合することによシ調製することができる。
次に本発明の封止型光情報記録媒体を図面にもとづいて
説明する。
ディスク状基板1,1は例えば透明プラスチック板から
形成されその中心部に嵌合孔2を有し、これら基板1,
1の一方の片面には有機色素記録層3が形成されている
。これら基板1,1t−同心的に配置した内周スペーサ
4および外周スペーサ5を介して上記記録層3,3を互
いに内側に配置し且つ各々の記録層5,5の相互対向面
間に空間6が形成される状態に本発明の封止用接着剤7
を用いて貼合せる。
上記有機色素記録層3の代表例としてはシアニン色素、
メロシアニン色素などのポリメチン色素をあげることが
できるがこれのみに制限されるものではない。なお、図
示の構成の他に記録層31fr、基板1,10両方の片
面に形成させる場合もある。
〔効果〕
上述のようにして構成された本発明の光情報記録媒体は
従来のエポキシ系接着剤を用いて貼合せたものに比べて
基板変形が少なく保存性にすぐれている。また、貼合せ
の際の硬化時間を短縮することができる。
〔実施例〕
以下に比較例とともに実施例をあげて本発明tさらに説
明するがこれに限定されるものではない。例中、部は重
量部によって示す。なお、例中で示した一般式において
アクリロイル基CH2=CHC0−をAと略記した。
I 実施例 1 直径200m1lおよび厚さ1簡のポリメチルメタクリ
レート基板2枚を用い、そのうちの1枚に7オトボリマ
法によシブレグルーフを設は死後その上に一般式 で表わされる色素の1,2−ジクロロエタン溶液(色素
濃度0.7重f1%)を60 Orpmでスピンコート
シて記録層を設けた後、厚さ11I+IBのスペーサを
介して下記の組成を有する接着剤を用いて図示のように
封止した。

秒によシ硬化した。
上述のようにして作製した封止ディスクラ60℃、90
%R,H,の環境中に1000時間放置後ディスク特性
を測定した結果を以下の表に示す。
実施例2〜9および比較例1〜2 実施例1における接着剤の代シに以下に示す組成の接着
剤を用いた以外には実施例1とまったく同様にして光デ
ィスクを作製した。なお、各実施例および各比較例にお
いて光重合開始剤として実施例1と同様に2,2−ジメ
トキシ2−フェニルアセトフェノンを用いた。各光ディ

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 2枚のディスク状基板のうち少なくとも1枚の片面に有
    機色素記録層を有する1対の基板を同心的に配置された
    内周スペーサおよび外周スペーサを介してまたは介さず
    に該記録層が内側になるように接着剤を用いて貼合せた
    封止構造を有ししかも前記接着剤が下記一般式( I )
    および一般式(II)または一般式(III)の化合物を含
    むことを特徴とする光情報記録媒体。 一般式( I ) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼( I ) 一般式(II) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼(II) 一般式(III) ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼(III) ただし、L_1は ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ を表わし、L_2は ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ を表わし、mは0または1であり、nは2〜4であり、
    R_1はメチル基またはエチル基を表わし、には1〜4
    であり、R_2は水素またはメチル基であり、lは3〜
    15でありそしてl′は4〜6である。
