Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 交流電源と、誘導性限流要素と、前記交流電源
    の両端に前記誘導性限流要素を介して接続された
    放電灯と、この放電灯のフイラメントの非電源側
    両端間に正特性感熱素子を介して接続し予熱径路
    を形成する常閉の始動用バイメタルスイツチと、
    この予熱径路内に介挿された主ヒータを含みこの
    主ヒータの発熱により前記始動用バイメタルスイ
    ツチを開離する開路手段と、この始動用バイメタ
    ルスイツチと並列関係に接続されたインピーダン
    ス要素と補助ヒータとの直列回路を含み、放電灯
    点灯時には前記始動用バイメタルスイツチを開離
    状態に保持し得る電力を主ヒータに供給する保持
    手段と、放電灯不点灯時に作動して前記始動用バ
    イメタルスイツチを閉成状態にし得る電力を前記
    補助ヒータに供給する再閉路手段と、放電灯寿命
    時に前記正特性感熱素子の動作に応動して前記主
    ヒータに流れる電流を減少させる抑制手段を少な
    くとも前記主ヒータと直列接続し、前記始動用バ
    イメタルスイツチを閉成状態に保持する保護手段
    とを具備したことを特徴とする放電灯点灯装置。
