Abstract

PURPOSE:To refuge a magnetic head freely with simple structure wherever the head is by constituting the tip of a fitting part which is energized horizontally and mounts the magnetic head so that a swing member which is swung by a solenoid abuts. The fitting part 12 is energized clockwise by a leaf spring 23 fitted on its reverse surface and a horizontal part 15 at its tip holds itself horizontal by abutting on a rod 36. When the projection slanting surface 33a of the swing member 33 abuts on a horizontal part 16 and presses it down through the operation of the latch type solenoid 31, the carriage 10 slants slightly and the head 18 leaves the disk. Thus, the head can be refuged from the disk with the simple constitution wherever the head is.
