Claims (20)
- 통상적으로 포물선형인 반사면(14)과 주 반사기(12)의 초점(F.P.)을 통해 주 반사기(12)의 정점(16)으로부터 연장되는 조준 축(18)을 갖는 주 반사기(12)와,통상적으로 초점(F.P.)에 위치하고, 미리 설정된 RF 파장의 라디오 주파수(RF) 에너지로 주 반사기(12)를 조사하고, 또는 미리 설정된 RF 파장의 라디오 주파수(RF) 에너지를 주 반사기(12)로부터 수용함으로써 RF 에너지를 전송/수신하는 피드(20)와,상기 미리 설정된 RF 파장과 상이한 미리 설정된 파장의 에너지를 반사시키거나 수신하기 위해 일반적으로 초점(F.P.)에 위치된 보조 반사기(22) 및 센서(26) 중 적어도 하나를 포함하고,조준 축(18)을 따르는 상기 보조 반사기(22) 또는 센서(26)로 인한 주 반사기(12)의 차단부는 피드(20)로 인한 주 반사기(12)의 차단부와 동일하거나 또는 크고,상기 피드(20)는 주 반사기 구역 중에서 상기 보조 반사기(22) 또는 센서(26)에 의하여 차단되는 구역보다 상기 보조 반사기(22) 또는 센서(26)에 의하여 차단되지 않는 구역을 향하여 더 많은 RF 에너지를 지향시키도록 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피드(20)의 E-평면 방사 패턴은 보조 반사기(22) 또는 센서(26)에 의해 차단되지 않은 주 반사기(12)의 구역(34)에서 피크(50)를 나타내는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 보조 반사기(22) 또는 센서(26)에 의해 차단되지 않은 구역(34)에서의 피크(50)는 보조 반사기(22) 또는 센서(26)에 의해 차단된 구역(32)에서의 임의의 피크를 초과하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피드(20)는 개별적인 피드 요소(40)의 어레이(38)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 피드 요소(40)는 피드 요소들 중에 포함된 다른 요소와 위상이 다르게 공급된 요소를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 피드(20)는 복수의 개별적인 피드 요소(40)를 갖는 마이크로스트립 패치 어레이(38)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 마이크로스트립 패치 어레이(38)는 적어도 16개의 개별적인 피드 요소(40)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 개별적인 피드 요소(40)는 기하학적 어레이로 배열되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 기하학적 어레이는 통상적으로 정방형인 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제8항에 있어서, 상기 기하학적 어레이의 외주변부를 따르는 개별적인 피드 요소(40)는 기하학적 어레이의 주변부 내부에서의 개별적인 피드 요소(40)에 대해 반대의 위상으로 공급되는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 미리 설정된 RF 파장은 마이크로파 또는 밀리파 밴드에 있고, 상기 안테나는 적외선 밴드에 있는 에너지를 반사시키기 위해 초점(F.P.)에서 보조 반사기(22)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 안테나는 다른 미리 설정된 파장에서 에너지를 수신하기 위해 초점(F.P.)에서 센서(26)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주 반사기(12)는 직경(D)을 갖고, 보조 반사기 또는 센서로 인한 주 반사기(12)의 차단부(32)는 3D/8 이상의 직경을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 안테나는 약 3D/8의 초점 길이를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서, D는 5.08 cm (2인치) 내지 7.62 cm (3인치)의 범위인 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
- 제13항에 있어서, 상기 피드(20)는 복수의 개별 피드 요소(40)를 갖는 마이크로스트립 패치 어레이(38)를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 공통 개구 반사형 안테나.
