Claims (25)
- 장치이며:
노즐 또는 게이트 삽입부를 통해 몰드와 연관된 단부를 갖는 제1 섹션, 배럴 내로 재료를 충전하도록 구성된 호퍼에 커플링된 제2 섹션, 그리고 제1 섹션과 제2 섹션 사이의 온도 전이 섹션을 포함하는 배럴;
배럴의 내측에 위치되며 배럴에 대해 회전가능한 압출 스크류; 그리고
배럴의 내측에서 재료를 가열하기 위해서 배럴의 제1 섹션과 연관된 하나 이상의 가열기를 포함하고, 배럴에 대한 압출 스크류의 회전은 지속적으로 몰드 내로 재료를 압출하는 장치. - 제1항에 있어서, 재료는 비정질 열가소성물질, 결정질 또는 반결정질 열가소성 물질, 버진 수지(virgin resin), 유리 섬유, 탄소 섬유, 또는 셀룰로오스 섬유를 가지는 강화 플라스틱, 재활용된 열가소성물질, 혼합되고 섞인 열가소성 수지, 유기 수지, 유기 식품 화합물, 탄수화물 기재 수지, 당-기재 화합물, 젤라틴//프로필렌 글리콜 화합물, 전분 기재 화합물, 금속 사출 몰딩(MIM) 공급원료로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 장치.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 압출 스크류는 구리, 구리 합급, 황동, 황동 합금, 탄소강, 스테인레스강으로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택된 전도성 재료를 포함하고, 이들 중 임의의 것은 크롬 또는 다른 특수 도금으로 처리될 수 있는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 배럴 또는 다른 압출 스크류가 유도성 가열을 위해 자성 재료 부분을 포함하는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 호퍼는 냉각 유체를 순환시키도록 구성된 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 배럴의 온도 전이 섹션은 용융된 재료를 효과적으로 펌핑하기 위해 재료가 밀봉 구역을 형성하는 것을 허용하는 길이를 가지는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 압출 스크류 및 배럴은 계단식 외부 및 내부 직경을 가지는 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 압출 스크류는 축방향으로 고정된 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 재료는 하나 이상의 가열기에 의해 주로 가열되는 장치.
- 복수의 게이트로부터 몰드 공동까지 단일 몰드 공동을 충전하도록 배열되거나 몰드 내의 복수의 몰드 공동을 충전하도록 배열된, 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 따르는 복수의 장치를 포함하는 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 복수의 장치 중 각각의 장치는 목표 압력이 달성되고나면 재료 유동을 중지하기 위해 독립적으로 제어되는 장치.
- 제10항 또는 제11항에 있어서, 복수의 장치 중 각각의 장치는 각각의 제어기에 개별 압력 데이터를 제공하는 장치.
- 압출-충전(extrude-to-fill) 사출 몰딩 장치이며:
시계방향 및 반시계반향으로 회전하도록 구성된 압출 스크류;
압출 스크류 외측의 배럴에 커플링 되며, 배럴 내로 재료를 충전시키고 냉각 유체를 순환시키도록 구성된 호퍼; 그리고
압출 스크류의 회전이 노즐을 통해 몰드 내로 용융된 재료를 펌핑하도록, 재료를 가열하기 위해서 호퍼로부터 소정의 거리에서 배럴과 연관된 하나 이상의 가열기를 포함하는 압출-충전 사출 몰딩 장치. - 제13항에 있어서, 압출 스크류가 압출 스크류의 길이를 따라 일정한 루트 직경을 포함하는 장치.
- 제13항 또는 제14항에 있어서, 압출 스크류는 일정한 플라이트 높이를 포함하는 장치.
- 제13항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 압출 스크류는 노즐의 근처에서 재료를 효과적으로 혼합하도록 구성된 기하구조를 가지는 제1 부분 및 호퍼로부터 효율적으로 재료를 급송하도록 구성된 기하구조를 가지는 제2 부분을 포함하는 장치.
- 제13항 또는 제14항에 있어서, 압출 스크류는 제1 플라이트 높이를 갖는 제1 부분과 제1 부분보다 더 큰 제2 플라이트 높이를 갖는 제2 부분을 포함하고, 제1 부분은 몰드 내로 용융된 재료를 유동시키기 위해 배럴과 연관된 노즐에 매칭된 일 단부를 가지는 장치.
- 제17항에 있어서, 제1 부분은 용융된 재료를 효율적으로 펌핑하도록 구성되며, 제2 부분은 재료를 효과적으로 급송하고 혼합하도록 구성되고, 제2 부분은 제1 부분에 비해 호퍼에 더 가까운 장치.
- 제13항 내지 제18항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 압출 스크류와 배럴 사이의 틈새는 스크류 회전에 의한 재료의 전단 열 발생을 감소하기에 충분히 큰 장치.
- 복수의 게이트로부터 몰드 공동까지 단일 몰드 공동을 충전하도록 배열되거나 몰드 내의 복수의 몰드 공동을 충전하도록 배열된, 제13항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 따르는 복수의 장치를 포함하는 장치.
- 제20항에 있어서, 복수의 장치 중 각각의 장치는 목표 압력이 달성되고나면 재료 유동을 중지하기 위해 독립적으로 제어되는 장치.
- 제20항 또는 제21항에 있어서, 복수의 장치 중 각각의 장치는 각각의 제어기에 개별 압력 데이터를 제공하는 장치.
- 장치이며:
압출 스크류 내측에 가열기를 수용하도록 구성된, 내측이 중공형인 압출 스크류;
압출 스크류의 외측에 있으며, 노즐이나 게이트 삽입부를 통해 몰드와 연관되는 일 단부를 가지는 배럴;
배럴의 대향하는 단부에 커플링되며 배럴 내로 재료를 급송하도록 구성되고, 냉각 유체를 순환시키도록 구성된 호퍼; 그리고
압출 스크류가 노즐의 개구를 통해 몰드 내로 용융된 재료를 펌핑하도록, 재료를 가열하기 위해 호퍼로부터 소정의 거리에서 배럴의 외측에 위치된 하나 이상의 가열기를 포함하는 장치. - 구성요소를 제조하는 방법이며:
배럴의 내측에서 재료를 용융시키기 위해 하나 이상의 가열기를 켜는 단계;
몰드가 충전될 때까지 몰드 내로 용융된 재료를 펌핑하기 위해 압출 스크류를 회전시키는 단계; 그리고
배럴을 압축해제하기 위해서, 그리고 재료의 비-뉴턴 작용을 파괴하기 위해 압출 스크류의 회전을 반전시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법. - 제24항에 있어서, 재료는 비정질 열가소성물질, 결정질 및 반결정질 열가소성 물질, 버진 수지(virgin resin), 섬유 강화 플라스틱, 재활용된 열가소성물질, 산업 폐기물 재활용 수지, 사용 후 재활용 수지, 혼합되고 섞인 열가소성 수지, 유기 수지, 유기 식품 화합물, 탄수화물 기재 수지, 당-기재 화합물, 젤라틴, 프로필렌 글리콜 화합물, 전분 기재 화합물, 금속 사출 몰딩(MIM) 공급원료로 구성된 그룹으로부터 선택되는 방법.
