Claims (31)
- 일체형 직조(one piece woven, OPW) 에어백으로부터의 공기 누출을 감소시키기 위한 방법으로서,
시임(seam)을 갖는 OPW 에어백을 형성하는 단계; 및
상기 OPW 에어백의 하나 이상의 시임에 핫 멜트 밀봉제 재료를 적용하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 시임에 상기 밀봉제 재료를 적용하기 전에 상기 OPW 에어백을 캘린더링(calendering)하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 하나 이상의 시임에 상기 밀봉제 재료를 적용한 후에, 상기 OPW 에어백 위에 경량 코팅을 적용하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는, 방법.

- OPW 에어백으로서,
일체형 직조 직물 - 상기 직물의 주 부분(major portion)은 다수의 직조 층을 갖고, 상기 직물의 부 부분(minor portion)은 상기 주 부분보다 적은 직조 층을 가지며, 시임이 주 부분의 에지들 사이에 그리고 주 부분과 부 부분 사이에 있음 - 을 포함하고,
상기 시임은 핫 멜트 밀봉제 재료로 코팅되는, OPW 에어백. - 제12항에 있어서, 상기 시임은 상기 OPW 에어백의 표면적의 2% 이상 내지 14% 이하를 구성하는, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 또는 제13항에 있어서, 상기 핫 멜트 밀봉제 재료는 융점 범위가 50℃ 이상 내지 180℃ 이하, 또는 120℃ 이상 내지 160℃ 이하인 반응성 폴리우레탄인, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 에어백은 상기 핫 멜트 밀봉제 재료의 적용 전에 캘린더링되는, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 에어백의 주 부분, 부 부분 및 시임 부분은 실리콘계 코팅(예를 들어 폴리-디메틸렌실록산), 우레탄(예를 들어 폴리우레탄) 및 고무 조성물(예를 들어 폴리클로로프렌)로부터 선택되는 경량 코팅으로 코팅되고, 상기 경량 코팅은:
a. 5 g/m2 이상 내지 40 g/m2 이하; 및
b. 5 g/m2 이상 내지 20 g/m2 이하로 이루어진 범위의 군으로부터 선택되는 단위 면적당 중량을 갖는, OPW 에어백. - 제12항 내지 제16항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 직물의 주 부분은 100 ㎠의 시험 면적 및 500 Pa의 시험 압력으로 정적 공기 투과율(Static Air Permeability)에 의해 측정되는 가스 투과율이 1 l/dm2/min 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 내지 제17항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 직물의 주 부분은 70 μm 미만의 RMS 표면 조도 값을 제공하는 레이저 표면 프로필로메트리(laser surface profilometry)에 의해 특징지어지는 바와 같은 낮은 표면 평탄도를 보이는, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 내지 제18항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 핫 멜트 밀봉제 재료는 100 g/m2 미만의 수준으로 존재하는, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 시임 밀봉과 조합하여 코팅되지 않은 직물로부터 제조되는, OPW 에어백.
- 제12항 내지 제19항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 에어백의 전체 표면에 걸쳐:
a. 10 g/m2 이상 내지 65 g/m2 이하;
b. 10 g/m2 이상 내지 35 g/m2 이하; 및
c. 10 g/m2 이상 내지 25 g/m2 이하로 이루어진 범위의 군으로부터 선택되는 평균 코팅 중량을 갖는, OPW 에어백. - 제12항에 있어서, 상기 에어백 직물은 캘린더링되었고, 경량 필름이 상기 캘린더링된 에어백 직물에 적용된, OPW 에어백.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 경량 필름은 별도의 시임 밀봉 없이 적용된, OPW 에어백.
- 제22항 또는 제23항에 있어서, 상기 경량 필름은 폴리우레탄, 폴리아미드, 폴리올레핀 및 폴리에스테르로부터 선택되는 적어도 하나를 포함하는, OPW 에어백.
