Abstract

L'invention vise à inhiber la formation de dépôts solides dans une suspension ou une solution acides. L'invention utilise un mélange synthétique aqueux comprenant un phosphate, un phosphonate, un polymère anionique ou des combinaisons de ceux-ci dans la suspension et/ou la solution afin d'inhiber la formation de dépôts solides pendant le traitement d'un minerai. La production de dépôts dans un environnement acide est un problème difficile car la solution acide neutralise la plupart des inhibiteurs connus. L'invention permet de réduire de manière importante la production de dépôts solides, ce qui permet de réduire les temps d'arrêt de systèmes nécessaires aux procédures de détartrage.
