Abstract

La présente invention concerne un processus de prétraitement d'une matière première de biomasse lignocellulosique consistant à : tremper une matière première de biomasse lignocellulosique, la biomasse trempée étant présente en tant que mélange comprenant un liquide libre et le liquide libre comprenant au moins un composé dissous choisi dans le groupe constitué par le glucose, le xylose et leurs oligomères respectifs; laver le mélange de la biomasse trempée et du liquide libre, au moins une partie du liquide libre contenant au moins un composé dissous choisi dans le groupe constitué par le glucose, le xylose et leurs oligomères respectifs étant séparée de la biomasse trempée pour créer une biomasse lavée trempée et au moins un courant de liquide libre; comprimer la biomasse trempée pour créer un liquide libéré, séparer le liquide libéré de la biomasse trempée; et maintenir au moins une partie du liquide libéré séparée de tout liquide libre.
