Abstract
Procédé consistant à former un lit de réaction contenant des agglomérats d'alimentation dans une chambre de réaction par chauffage des agglomérats d'alimentation. Les agglomérats d'alimentation individuels contiennent initialement des particules d'une source de gypse et d'une source de silicium réparties de manière approximativement homogène dans tous les agglomérats individuels. Le gypse et le silicium dans les agglomérats d'alimentation réagissent pendant le chauffage dans la chambre de réaction et, forment ainsi des agglomérats traités qui contiennent des silicates de calcium et une quantité accrue de silicium amorphe par rapport aux agglomérats d'alimentation avant le chauffage. Le procédé consiste à générer un gaz de dégagement à partir du lit de réaction, le gaz de dégagement contenant des oxydes de soufre, et à retirer les agglomérats traités de la chambre de réaction.
