Abstract

Middel for behandling eller forhindring av hyperurekemi, urinsyregikt, inflammatorisk tarmsykdom, diabetisk nefropati eller diabetisk retinopati, som har en ikke-nukleinsyrestruktur og som har utmerket xantinoksidase-inhiberende virkning og en hypourekemisk effekt. Et triarylkarboksylsyrederivat som har en karboksylsubstituert heteroarylgruppe og en aromatisk ringgruppe, så som en fenylgruppe, bundet i para-posisjon på benzenringen og som videre har en cyanogruppe på den samme benzenringen, har en potent xantinoksidase-inhiberende virkning og en hypourekemisk effekt. Denne forbindelse er anvendelig som et middel for å behandle eller forhindre ovennevnte sykdommer.
