Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for å forhindre vekst av organismer på flater til konstruksjoner (11) nedsenket i en væske. En elektrisk ledende struktur (11), som skal bli beskyttet, forbindes som katode med en likestrømskilde (14) eller en elektrisk ikke-ledende struktur (111), som skal bli beskyttet, belegges først med et elektrisk ledende materiale (11 la) og forbindes som katode til en likestrømskilde (14) hhv. som anoden (12). Det anvendes en anode som har blitt isolert fra strukturen (11), som skal bli beskyttet, eller anoden er anbrakt separat fra strukturen. Anoden er forbundet som anode til likestrømskilden (14). Et styresignal avgis til likestrømskilden (14) fra en styreenhet (15), hvilket styresignal endrer strømtettheten og/eller spenningen tilført av likestrømskilden (14) hvorved pH-verdien til væsken på flaten til strukturen (11), som skal bli beskyttet, varierer med en slik frekvens at mikrobeorganismer på flaten til strukturen (11), som skal bli beskyttet, ikke kan tilpasse seg de endrende betingelser.
