The essence of the industrial design is the new form of the object, manifested in the shape and appearance of the upholstered parts, which give the furniture a unique appearance intended to enhance its aesthetic qualities. The sofa according to the industrial design is intended to be reproduced multiple times in industrial production. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached photograph, in which Figure 1 shows the sofa from the front. Essential Features of the Industrial Design The essence of the industrial design is a 3-seater sofa, whose characteristic features include: - armrests composed of two connected parts: a lower section surrounding the seat from above and sides, and an upper section with a cushion folded over the lower section and descending to the seat surface; - backrest cushions with a protruding, foldable section, with a cutout allowing the cushion to overlap the armrest; - a seat with an imitation symmetrical division into two parts; - a chrome-plated metal leg in the shape of a rectangular frame; - decorative stitching on the edges of the seat panels, armrests, and two arcuate stitching on the backrest cushions.
