There are many varieties of lounge furniture frames, which have supports acting as legs and connected arched elements under the armrests. These supports, connected to the armrests, are a pair of identically shaped elements, when connected by transverse connectors, form a frame to which an upholstered seat is attached. The presented solution consists of two identical elements, each of which forms the structure of one of the sides of the frame, having a rectangular outline in every plane of its cross-section. Each of these elements is a shaped profile, bent with a gentle arc in the middle, creating a generally vertical and straight leg in the lower section, and a generally horizontal and straight armrest in the rear section. The outermost armrest area is connected to an arc-shaped element with a gentle curve directed towards the front leg, constituting the rear leg. The lower part of the rear leg is connected to the front leg, approximately at the height of the connector, by an arc-shaped element with a gentle curve directed upward. These elements are connected throughout by horizontal connectors. The frame is made of wood or wood-based materials. An upholstered seat is attached to the frame in a known manner, which together form an armchair or sofa. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the drawing, where Fig. 1 shows the frame in perspective, and Fig. 2 shows a side view. The essential features of the industrial design, distinguishing it from other frames, are the shape of the elements forming the frame, consisting of two identical elements, each of which forms the structure of one of the sides of the frame, connected by connectors, having an outline similar to a rectangle in each plane of the cross-section. Each of these elements is a shaped profile, bent with a gentle arc in the middle zone, creating a basically vertical and straight leg in the lower part, and a basically horizontal and straight armrest in the rear part.
