Abstract
Sposób polega na tym, że odpad chmielowy, pozostający po ekstrakcji szyszek chmielowych nadkrytycznym dwutlenkiem węgla, poddaje się dodatkowej ekstrakcji eterem dietylowym albo mieszaniną eteru dietylowego z acetonem. Ekstrakcję prowadzi się w sposób periodyczny lub ciągły, po czym ekstrakt oddziela się i odparowuje rozpuszczalnik znanymi metodami. Produkt zawiera dużo ksantohumolu i może znaleźć zastosowanie jako dodatek do preparatów leczniczych i parafarmaceutyków. Może także stanowić półprodukt do otrzymania czystego ksantohumolu.
