Abstract

Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób spieniania asfaltu pozwalający na obniżenie lepkości asfaltu oraz poprawę zagęszczalności mieszanek mineralno-asfaltowych w obniżonej temperaturze produkcji i zagęszczania. Sposób spieniania asfaltu, polega na tym, że do zeolitu dodaje się wodę w ilości od 15 do 100% wagowo w stosunku do masy suchego materiału i miesza się do momentu uzyskania mieszaniny o jednolitej strukturze. W dalszej kolejności dodaje się mieszaninę w ilości od 2% do 10% wagowo w stosunku do masy asfaltu do gorącego asfaltu o temperaturze od 145°C do 180°C i miesza się do momentu rozpoczęcia spieniania asfaltu. Następnie dodaje się spieniony asfalt do mieszanki mineralnej o temperaturze od 115°C do 140°C i miesza się do uzyskania całkowitego otoczenia kruszywa asfaltem. Kolejno mieszankę mineralno-asfaltową kondycjonuje się i zagęszcza w temperaturze od 105°C do 130°C korzystnie przez okres od 30 do 90 min.The subject of the application is a method of foaming asphalt which allows to reduce the asphalt viscosity and to improve the compactness of asphalt mixtures at reduced production and compaction temperature. The method of foaming asphalt consists in adding water to the zeolite in an amount of 15 to 100% by weight based on the weight of the dry material and mixing until a mixture of uniform structure is obtained. Next, the mixture is added in an amount of 2% to 10% by weight, based on the weight of the asphalt, to the hot asphalt at a temperature of 145 ° C to 180 ° C and mixed until the asphalt starts foaming. Then foamed asphalt is added to the mineral mix at a temperature of 115 ° C to 140 ° C and mixed until complete aggregate asphalt is obtained. The asphalt mix is subsequently conditioned and compacted at a temperature of 105 ° C to 130 ° C, preferably for a period of 30 to 90 min.
