Description

Znane dotychczas suszarki korytowe lub bebnowe, pomimo naj staranniejszej otuli¬ ny cieplnej pracuja z mniej lub wiecej znacznema stratami ciepilnemi, W celu zu¬ pelnego usuniecia pomienionych strat dolna nieckowata czesc umieszcza sie w suszar¬ kach bebnowych, jak to wskazuje rysunek, w kanale doprowadzajacym ogrzane po¬ wietrze, dzieki czemu wewnatrz i zewnatrz niecki panuje ta sama temperatura przez ca¬ ly czas okresu suszenia, co usutwa strate ciepla przez wymiany, W czesci górnej suszarki korytowej, wskutek pochloniecia wody z suszonego tworzywa, temperatura goracych gazów spada o tyle, zblizajac sie do punktu skra¬ plania, ze dokladna otulina chroni od strat cieplnych.Zalaczony rysunek uwidocznila jedna z mozliwych form wykonania wynalazku.Fig, 1 do 3 przedstawiaja w przekroju podluznym suszarke korytowa, otoczona kanalem, doprowadzajacym gorace powie¬ trze w wypadku zastosowania suszenia pra¬ dem wspólbieznym, przeciwbieznym lub po¬ przecznym, a fig. Gorace powietrze doply¬ wa obecnie w miejscu A, przeciaga przez aparat wraz z doprowadzanem don w punk¬ cie B wiilgotnem tworzywem, poczem po¬ wietrze uchodzi przez C do wywietrznika, wysuszone zas tworzywo odprowadza sli¬ mak D.Przeciwprad stosuje sie w wypadkach, gdy chodzi o suszenie matenjalów, z któ¬ rych nalezy usunac wilgoc nietytlko przyle¬ gajaca mechanicznie lecz równiez i zwia¬ zana chemicznie. 2. Gorace gazy plyna w aparacie od A11 do fi1, a wiec—w kierunku przeciwnym ru¬ chowi tworzywa.Stosowanie pradu poprzecznego bywa korzystne do matenjalów nie nalezacych do obu pierwszych grup, a wiec—nie wrazli¬ wych np. na cieplo lulb mogacych opuszczac suszarnie z wysoka zawartoscia wody.Natenczas ustawia sie klapy K1 dó K12 w pozyciji wskazanej na fig. 3. 1) S1, S2, S3 nier znacznie do poziomu, a dalej dopiero moc- niej^, w celu przyspieszenia przenoszenia tworzywa. W razie stosowania pradu prze¬ ciwbieznego, postepuje sie odwrotnie. PL PLThe previously known trough or drum dryers, despite the most careful thermal insulation, operate with more or less significant heat losses. In order to completely eliminate the aforementioned losses, the lower trough-shaped part of the drum dryer is placed, as shown in the drawing, in a channel supplying heated air. This ensures that the same temperature prevails inside and outside the trough throughout the drying period, which eliminates heat loss through exchange. In the upper part of the trough dryer, due to the absorption of water from the dried material, the temperature of the hot gases drops to such an extent, approaching the condensation point, that the careful insulation protects against heat losses. The attached drawing shows one of the possible embodiments of the invention. Figs. 1 to 3 show a longitudinal section of the trough dryer. surrounded by a channel that supplies hot air in the case of drying with a common, countercurrent, or transverse current, and Fig. 4—a cross-section of a trough dryer. To explain the individual drying methods, the following should be mentioned: The common current is used for all heat-sensitive materials. These materials, depending on their original water content, can be subjected to the highest temperature at the beginning of drying, as the cooling of evaporation protects them from overheating. Toward the end of drying, however, as the quality and moisture content decrease, the drying temperature should also decrease accordingly to prevent the dried material from overheating or burning. A similar process can only be carried out by drying with a cocurrent current. For this purpose, flaps K1 to K5 (Fig. 1) located in the hot air channel are closed, as are channels K5 to K11, through which the vapors escape. Flap K12 is opened. Hot air now enters at point A, passes through the device together with the moist material fed to it at point B. The air then escapes through C to the vent, and the dried material is discharged through screw D. Countercurrent is used when drying materials from which not only mechanically adhering moisture but also chemically bound moisture must be removed. This generally requires a high internal temperature of the material, which can only be achieved after removing the mechanically bound water by holding the material in a high-temperature medium for a longer period. For this purpose, flaps K1 to K12 are set as shown in Fig. 2. Hot gases flow in the apparatus from A11 to fi1, i.e., in the direction opposite to the movement of the material. Using a cross-current is advantageous for materials that do not belong to the first two groups, and therefore are not sensitive to heat, for example, or may leave the dryer with a high water content. Flaps K1 to K12 are then set in the position shown in Fig. 3. Hot gases flow through the apparatus from A2 to B2 across the moist material. Since they spread over a large cross-sectional area, they flow very slowly through the material, absorbing water as well as water in the case of a countercurrent current up to the saturation point. A partial combination of a parallel and a countercurrent current with a transverse current can also be used. If, for example, there is a fear that in the case of a cross-current the processed material could be damaged due to too high a temperature at the outlet end, then the front part of the dryer can be operated with a cross-current and the rear part with a common-current, in order to moderate the temperature at the outlet, which can be easily achieved by appropriately setting the flaps. In both the common-current and counter-current modes, it is advantageous to do so at certain points of the apparatus for accumulating the processed material, namely: in the case of common-current – at the inlet, in order to evaporate as much water as possible from the wettest material by means of a high temperature, and in the case of counter-current – at the outlet, in order to subject the material to a high drying temperature at that point. In both cases, therefore, the following results are achieved: This method makes excellent use of heat. For this purpose, shovels, portable mixers, or drum lifting shovels are tilted slightly at this point (Fig. 1) S1, S2, S3 to the horizontal, and only then more firmly to accelerate the material transfer. When using a countercurrent, the reverse is done. PL PL
