化粧板およびその製法 技 術 分 野 この発明は、 テーブル、 カウンター、 家具、 音響機器ケース 等の木製什器や床材、 壁材等の木質建材、 車内装備品などの表 面材として好適に用いられる木質系の化粧板およびその製法に 関する。
背 景 技 術 従来、 テーブルなどの表面板として用いられる表面材として は、 木材単独あるいは木材薄板を合板台板に貼着したものがあ る。 この表面材は、 木材の美観を有し、 触感もソフ 卜であると 言う特長を有しているが、 耐摩耗性、 耐水性、 耐汚染性が不足 し、 耐久性の点で不満があるという問題がある。
また、 表面材となりうる美麗な木目模様を有する木材自体も_ 資源的に枯渴しつつあり、 入手が困難となつ いる。
このようなことより、 例えば不飽和ポリエステル樹脂などの 透明硬化性樹脂液に多数の木材小片を混入し、 この混合物を板 状に成形し固化させたものを表面材として使用することが考え られている。
しかしながら、 この表面材にあっては、 樹脂液と木材小片と を混練して固化しているため、 木材小片の側面と化粧板の表面 とが平行でないものが多く、 木材小片の表面模様が効率的に化 粧板表面に表われず、 木材小片の美観が充分に現出しない不満 があった。 発 明 の 開 示 したがっ て、 この発明は、 木材小片が持つ木目模様が無駄な く、 効果的に化粧板表面に現出し、 木目模様の強調された美麗 な化粧板およびその製法を提供することを目的とする。
この目的を考慮して、 この発明は、 多数の木材小片を分散し た着色不透明樹脂履から成り、 着色不透明樹脂層内の木材小片 をこの層の表面に露出させ、 この層を平坦にした化粧板を提供 する。 この構造とすることによって、 木材小片分散着色不透明 樹脂層内の木材小片の表面に露出した側面が化粧板表面に対し て平行に配列、 配置され、 木材小片が持つ木目模様が無駄なく 効果的に化粧板表面に現出し、 木目模様の強調された美麗な化 粧板となりうる。
請求の範囲第 2項および第 3項によれば、 多数の木材小片を 分散した着色不透明樹脂層上に透明樹脂層が形成される。 この 透明樹脂層が木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層を保護し、 木材小 片の吸湿、 吸水や木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層表面の汚染、 摩耗などが防止される。
請求の範囲第 4項によれば、 木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 上にガラス繊維が混入した透明樹脂層が設けられる。 このガラ ス繊維混入透明樹脂層の存在により、 木材分散着色不透明樹脂 層中の木材小片の吸排湿などによる動きや着色不透明樹脂層の 硬化収縮や温度変化などによる動きが透明樹脂層表面に表われ ることがなく平滑な表面となり、 美感の向上したものとなる。 請求の範囲第 9項ないし第 1 1 項の記載によれば、 請求の範 囲第 1 項に記載された化粧板を製造する方法が提供される。 と りわけ、 請求の範囲第 1 0項および第 1 1 項で提供される製法 によれば、 木材小片を着色不透明樹脂層の表面に集中させるこ とができるので、 木材小片の使用翳を削減することが可能にな る。
請求の範囲第 1 2項ないし第 1 4項によれば、 請求の範囲第 2項および第 3項に示された透明樹脂靨を有する化粧扳を製造 する製法が提供される。 透明樹脂層の形成には、 透明塗料を塗 布する方法や透明樹脂フイルムまたは透明樹脂シー 卜を貼り合 せる方法などがある。
請求の範囲第 1 7項ないし第 Ί 9項によれば、 請求の範囲第 4項で提供されたガラス繊維混入透明樹脂層を有する化粧板の 製法が提供される。 ガラス繊維の形態としては、 これの混入が 視認されないようにサーフヱイスマツ 卜などの薄手のガラスマ ッ 卜などを用いるのが好ましい。
さらに、 請求の範囲第 5項記載の態様によると、 木材小片と して寸法安定化処理したものが用いられる。 寸法安定化処 し
た木材小片では、 木材小片の吸湿膨脹が防止され、 かつ木材小 片と着色不透明樹脂との親和力が高く、 接着性が上り、 木材小 片の脱落が防止できる。
請求の範囲第 6項記載の態様によれぱ、 木材小片として小片 の少なくとも周表面に、 好ましくは内部にまで着色処理したも のが用いられる。 着色処理することによって使用できる木材小 片の種類、 品質等が拡大され、 色調の種類が限られ fc原木から の木材小片をも使用することができ、 さらには、 製品化粧板に 高級感を付与することもできる。
請求の範囲第 7項記載の態様によれば、 着色不透明樹脂層を なす樹脂として熱硬化性樹脂を用いることができる。 熟硬化性 樹脂を選択することにより、 常温で液状の樹脂液が使用できる 種類の範囲が拡がり、 製造が容易となる。 また、 製品化粧板の 耐熱性、 機械的強度も高くなる。 図面の簡単な説明 この発明の好適な実施例を添付図面を参照して説明する。 図 tfiにおいて'、.

第 9図ないし第 1 3図はこの発明の化粧板の製法の第 3の実 施例を I程願に示した概略断面図である。 発明を実施するための最良の形態 第 1 図および第 2図はこの発明の化粧板の基本的な実施態様 を示すものである。 第 Ί 図中番号 Ί は基板である。 この基板 1 には、 ラワン合板、 パーチクルポード、 ランバーコアポード、 ムク材などの木質系のおのや繊維強化合成樹脂板などの樹脂系 のものなどが用いられ、 その厚さは特に限定されることはない が、 通常 2 〜 3 0細、 好ましくは 5 〜 1 0顧程度とされる。 この簦板 1 上には、 これと一休に多数の木材小片 2…を着色 不透明樹脂 3中に分散してなる木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4が設けられている。 この樹脂層 4を形成する木材小片 2とし ては、 黒タン、 ブナ、 ナラ、 卜チ、 セン、 タモ、 力ェデ、 カバ、 カシなどの広葉樹、 スギ、 ヒノキ、 マツ、 スプルース、 ァガチ スなどの針葉樹などの木材の小片であつて、 その形状は特に限 定されないが、 板状、 直方体状、 立方体状、 粒状などの切削加 ェにより形成された小片、 またはこれらの小片を機械的衝撃、 ローラ加圧によって破砕した小片などの様々の形状のものが用 いられる。 この小片 2の大きさは、 その形状を直方体状とした 場合、 幅 3 〜 7 匿、 好ましくは 5 〜 6卿、 長さ 3 〜 2 0卿、 好
ましくは Ί 2〜20纏、 厚さ 0,2〜3齜、 好ましくは 0.2〜1 應から幅 20〜25廳、 長さ20〜 100纖、 好ましくは 3ひ〜 60顯、 厚さ 0.2〜3纖、 好ましくは 0.2〜1驄までの偏平な ものが好ましく、 円柱状であれば径 5〜 100躕、 厚さ 0.2〜5 纖程度とされ、 破碎片であれば幅 1〜4纖、 長さ 3〜30纖、 好ましくは 5〜30職、 厚さ 0.2〜3腦、 好ましぐは 0.2〜1 程度が望ましい。 また、 この木材小片 2は、 樹種の異なるも の、 色調の異なるものなどが混入していてもよい。 また、 木材 小片 2には必要に応じて寸法安定化処理を施したものを用いる こともできる。 寸法安定化処理は、 木材小片を無水酢酸で処理 するァセチル化処理、 ポリエチレングリコール、 ポリプロピレ ングリコールを含浸する方法、 液状のフエノール樹脂、 不飽和 ポリエステル樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂、 シリコーン樹脂、 ウレタン 樹脂、 変性アクリル樹脂などの硬化性樹脂液を含浸、 固化させ る方法などがある。 また、 ポリエチレングリコールや液状樹脂 中に有機ハロゲン系防腐剤を混入しておき、 寸法安定化処理と 防腐処理とを周時に行うこともできる。
また、 木材小片 2には、 その一部または全部を Ί種または 2 種以上の色調に着色処理を施したものを用いることができるが、 黒タンなどの黒色、 レンガス、 パドックなどの黄色、 ナラ、 プ ナなどの白色等木材の自然色を生かすこともまた好ましい。 着 色処理は、 染料、 顔料などの色剤を水、 有機溶剤などの溶剤に 溶解した色剤濃度 0.1〜1 0重量%程度の着色液に多数の木材 小片を浸漬する方法などが用いられる。 着色液を加温して i
液の浸透を促し、 澳色に着色することもできる。 この際、 着色 剤の種類、 浸賡時の時間、 溫度、 圧力、 界面活性剤等の助剤等 により着色状態を調節でき、 着色部分を木材小片の表面部分の みとする場合、 さらに木材小片内部にまで着色する場合などを 選択することができる。 また、 寸法安定化処理の際に、 種々の 液状樹脂中に色剤を溶解しておき、 寸法安定化処理と周時に着 色処理を行うこともできる。
また、 着色不透明樹脂 3をなす樹脂には、 不飽和ポリエステ ル樹脂、 ポリウレタン樹脂、 ジァリルフタレー卜樹脂、 1ポキ シ樹脂、 シリコーン樹脂、 フ 丄ノール樹脂、 変性アクリル樹脂 等の硬化前の状態が液状の熟硬化性樹脂が主に用いられ、 これ に充填剤、 着色剤が添加されて着色不透明樹脂 3を形成し てい る。 ここでの充頃剤には、 炭酸カルシウム、 タルク、 酸化チタ ン、 シリカ、 ガラス粉末などが使用される。 充瓛剤の配合蠱は、 樹脂液 100重量部に対して 100〜 400重量部程度とされる。 ま た、 着色剤には、 木材小片 2の色調と周釆統の黄色系、 茶色系、 褐色系の色調の染料、 顔料等が好ましいが、 これ以外の色調の ものでもよい。 添加量は通常の範囲でよく、 特に限定されるこ とはない。
また、 この木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4にあっては、 第 1 図に示すように大部分の木材小片 2…が表面側に分散してお り、 かつこれらの大部分の木材小片 2…の 1つの表面が屬 4の 表面に露出しており、 屬 4の表面は平坦となっている。 曆 4の 表面積に占める木材小片 2…の露出面積の総和は、 Ί 0〜0 0
%、 好ましくは 7 0 〜 9 0 %程度とされる。 また、 この樹脂層 4の厚さは、 1 〜 2 難、 好ましくは 1 〜 1. 5麵程度とされる。
このような構造の化粧板にあっては、 木材小片分散着色不透 明樹脂層 4の表面に、 木材小片 2…の側面が露出し、 この露出 した側面が化粧板表面と平行であるので、 木材小片 2 *"の持つ 木目模様が最大限に化粧板表面に現出し、 木材小片混入の効粜 が向上し、 少量の混入量で最大眼の美観を得ることができる。
第 3図は、 この発明の化粧板の第 2の実施態様を示すもので、 基板 1上には木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4が設けられ、 こ の木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4上には透明樹脂層 5が一体 に設けられている。 この透明樹脂層 5は、 無色透明または着色 透明の厚さ 5 0〜 300 程度の樹脂層であつて、 不飽和ポリ エステル樹脂、 ポリウレタン樹脂、 ジァリルフタレー卜樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂などの熱硬化性樹脂などからなる透明塗料を塗布 する方法あるいは塩化ビニル樹脂、 アクリル樹脂、 フッ素樹脂 などの透明樹脂フィルムや透明樹脂シー卜を積層接着もしくは 圧着する方法などによって形成される。
このような構造の化粧板にあっては、 透明樹脂層 5によって、 木材小片分散着色樹脂層 4が保護され、 この雇 4表面に露出し た木材小片 2 ·"の吸湿ゃ屬 4表面の汚染、 摩耗などが防止され る。 また、 木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4の表面に、 木材小 片 2…の側面が露出し、 この露出した側面が化粧板表面と平行 であるので、 木材小片 2…の持つ木目模様が最大限に化粧板表 面に現出し、 木材小片混入の効果が向上し、 少鼉の混入量そ、 Ϊ '一

第 4図および第 5図はいずれもこの発明の化粧板の第 3およ び第 4の態様を示すもので、 第 4図での化粧板は、 基板 1 上に 木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4が設けられ、 この木材小片分 散着色不透明樹脂層 4上にガラス繊維 6を混入したガラス繊維 混入透明樹脂層 7が設けられたものである。 このガラス繊維混 入透明樹脂層 7は、 無色透明または着色透明の厚さ 5 0〜 300 程度の樹脂靨であって、 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、 ポリウ レタン樹脂、 ジ' /リルフタレー卜樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂などの熟 硬化性樹脂に、 この樹脂の透明性を妨げない程度の厚さ 3 0〜 100/ノ mの薄手のガラスク uスゃサ一フェイスマツ 卜などの織 編形態のガラス繊維 6を混入した一種の繊維強化プラスチック である。 また、 このガラス繊維 6の樹脂中の混入率は 3 0〜 200重量%程度とされる。
このような構造の化粧板にあっては、 そのガラス織維混入透 明樹脂雇 7がガラス繊維 6を混入したガラス繊維強化プラスチ ックの層となるので、 樹脂層 7自体の剐性が大きくなる。 この ため、 このガラス繊維混入透明樹脂層 7の下層の木材小片分散 着色不透明樹脂層 4の木材小片 2…の吸排湿などによる動き、 着色不透明樹脂 3の硬化収縮などの動きの影響が透明樹脂靨 7 の表 fijに現出することがなくなり、 透明樹脂層 7の表面の微少 な凹凸の発生が防止される。 また、 木材小片分散着色不透明樹 脂層 4の表面に、 木材小片 2…の側面が'!!出し、 この露出した 側面が化粧板表面と平行であるので、 木材小片 2…の持つ未自
模様が最大限に化粧板表面に現出し、 木材小片添加混入の効果 が向上し、 少量の混入匱で最大限の美観を得ることができる。 第 5図に示した化粧板はそのガラス繊維混入透明樹脂層 7が 下層 7 a、 中層 7 b、 表層 7 cの 3層構造となっており、 ガラ ス纖維 6は下雇 7 a中に混入されている。 このものでは、 透明 樹脂層 7の中層 7 bおよび表層 7 cはガ ス繊維 6を混入した 下層 7 a上に煩次通常の中塗り塗装および仕上げ塗装を施すこ とによって形成することができ、 仕上りの外観をより一層美麗 なちのとすることがでさる。
なお、 以上に示した各実施態様では、 いすれも基板 Ίを有す るものであるが、 基板 1 は必ずしも必要ではなく、 これを省略 し直接台板等の素地に貼り合せることも可能である。
次にこの発明の化粧板の製法を具体的に説明する。
まず、 必要に応じて寸法安定化処理、 着色処理、 防腐処理等 を施した木材小片を用意する α —方、 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂、 ウレタン樹脂などの硬化性樹脂液に炭酸カルシ ゥム、 タルクなどの充塡剤を混合した未硬化状態のペース卜状 樹脂混練钩を用意する。 この樹脂混練物に木材小片を混合し混 練したのち、 この混合物を平板状に成形し、 ホッ 卜プレスなど を使用して加熟加圧し、 固化物とする。 ついで、 この固化物の 表面をサンダー掛けなどによって研削し、 木材小片を表面に露 出させて、 木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂層 4を形成したのち、 これを基板 1に貼着して、 化粧板とする。 また、 基板の周囲に 枠を設け、 基板表面にポリウレタン樹脂、 エポキシ樹脂など
プライマーによるプライマー処理を施して密着性を高めるよう にしたのち、 樹脂混練物と木材小片との混合物をこの基板表面 に流し、 表面を平らに均らしたのち、 常温あるいは加温下で硬 化させて固化物とし、 この固化物の表面をサンディング装置に より研削すれば、 目的とする化粧板が得られる。
さらには、 第 6図ないし第 8図に示すような製法によっても 製造 きる。 まず、 第 6図に示すようにペース卜状樹脂混練物 を浅底の型 8内に流し込み、 シリコーン D—ラゃコテなどを用 いて平らに均し、 平板状混練物 9とする。 勿論、 型 8を用いず に平板状としてもよい。 この平板状物の厚さは、 約 1 〜 2 AM、 好ましくは 1 〜 1. 5卿程度とされる。
ついで、 混練物 9が未硬化状態にあるうちに、 第 7図に示す ように平板状物上に木材小片 2…を散布する。
このような木材小片 2…の散布は、 目の粗い篩などを用いる 方法や直接 -で散布する方法によって適宜行われる。 木材小片 2…の散布量は、 前記平板状物の表面の約 1 0〜9 0 %、 好ま しくは約 7 0〜9 0 %が覆い隠される程度とすることが望まし い。
木材小片 2…の散布後、 このものを加熟加圧するが、 これに 先立ち散布後の平板状混練物 9を、 温度 1 5〜 3 0 °C、 時間 3 〜4時間の条件で静置し、 硬化性樹脂の硬化を進めて、 混練物 9の粘度を高め、 取扱いを容易とし、 混練物 9中の気泡を除去 することあできる。
加熟加圧は、 周知のホッ 卜プレスなどの加熟加圧手段を用い
て行われ、 散布された木材小片 2…上に離型フィルム、 当板を 置き、 圧力 0. 5〜 1 . 5MPa 、 温度 100〜 130°G、 時簡 2〜! 5分 程度の条件で行われる。 この加熟加圧により、 平板状混練物 9 上に散布された木材小片 2…がこの混練物 9に圧入するととも に混練物 9が硬化し、 各々の木材小片 2 ···の大部分が混練物 9 中に埋没した状態の固化物が得られる α
ついで、 この固化物の表面を種々の研削手段により研削して 樹脂固化物と埋設木材小片との表面を面一とし、 木材小片を表 面に露出させれば、 第 8図に示すような化粧板が得られる。
また、 別の方法として平板状の型面を持つ型を用意し、 これ の型面に木材小片を散布する。 ついで、 着色不透明樹脂となる 樹脂混練物をその上から少なくとも木材小片が隠れるまで流し 込み、 同様に加熟加圧して固化させる。 ついで、 型から離型し たものに基板を貼り合せれば目的とする化粧板を得ることがで ぎる。
このような製法によれば、 木材小片 2…を混練物 9上に直接 均一に配することができ木材小片 2…の均一分散が可能となる。 また、 目視によって散布具合を調節でき、 容易に木材小片 2^ の均一分散を計ることができる。 また、 木材小片 2 ···を混線物 9の表面に集中させることができるので、 木材小片 2…の量を 少なくしても表面に木目模様が豊かに現出した化粧板とするこ とができ、 木材小片 2…の使甩蠆を削減できる。
さらには、 第 9図ないし第 1 3図に示した製法によってもこ の発明の化粧板を製造することができる。 この方法は粘着 '-
卜を利用して木材小片の配列を行うものである。 まず、 第 9図 に示すように、 木材小片 2…を粘着シー 卜 1 0の粘着面 1 1 上 に配列し、 木材小片 2…を粘着シー卜 1 0上に粘着する。 ここ で使われる粘着シー ト 1 0としては、 基布の表面に粘着剤を塗 布した通常のものが用いられる。 木材小片 2…の配列は、 目の 粗い篩などを用いて散布する方法や直接手で粘着シー卜 1 0上 に置いてゆく方法などによって適宜行われる。 木材小片 2…の 配列 »は粘着シー卜 1 0の粘着面 1 1 の約 1 o〜9 o %、 好ま しくは 7 0〜9 0 %が覆い隠される程度とされる。
また、 第 1 0図に示すように、 木材小片 2…の位置決めが行 えるように小突条を設けた型 1 2を用意し、 この型 Ί 2上に木 材小片 2…を配列し、 これの上から粘着シ一卜 1 0で押えて、 粘着シー 卜 1 0の粘着面 1 1 に木材小片 2…を付着させる方法 も採用できる。 この方法では、 型 1 2にこのような位置決めの ための模様型を用いれば木材小片 2…の配列が一定化し、 均一 な表面模様を有する化粧板が得られる。
これにより、 多数の木材小片 2…が粘着シー卜 1 0に配列、 粘着した木材小片粘着シー 卜状物 1 3が得られる。
一方、 これとは別に硬化性樹脂液に充塡剤を混合した混練物 を用意する。
ついで、 第 Ί 1 図に示すように、 この混練物を浅底の型 8内 に流し込み、 シリコーンローラゃコテなどを用いて平らに均し、 平板状混練物 9とする。 勿論、 型 8を用いずに平板状としても よい。 この平板状物の厚さは、 約 1 〜 2 綳、 好ましくは Ί ' "
1 . 5δΒΒ程度とされる。
ついで、 この平板状混練物 9が未硬化状態にあるうちに、 第 2図に示すように平板状混練物 9上に木材小片粘着シート状 物 1 3をその木材小片 2…が平板状混練物 9に接するように重 ね合せ、 軽く押圧し、 両者を接合する。 ついで、 粘着シ一卜 1 0のみを剥離すれば、 木材小片 2 ···が平板状混練物 9表面に 残り、 木材小片 2…が平板状混練物 9に移転する。 この際、 木 材小片粘着シ—卜状物 1 3と平板状混練物 9との重ね合せ後、 数時間放置し樹脂液の硬化が進行し混練物 9の粘度が上がり、 木材小片 2 ···の動きがある程度拘束された状態となった後に、 粘着シー卜 1 0を剥離することが好ましい。 これにより、 木材 小片 2…の動きがなくなり、 取扱いが容易となる。
ついで、 このものを加熟加圧して樹脂を固化させる。 加熟加 圧は、 周知のホッ 卜プレスなどの加熟加圧手段を用いて行われ、 平板状混練物 9上の木材小片 2 ···上に離型フィルム、 当板を置 き、 圧力 0. 5〜 1 . 5HPa 、 温度 100〜 130 、 時間 2〜5分程 度の条件で行われる。 この加熟加圧により、 平板状混練物 9上 に置かれた木材小片 2 ·"がこの混練物 9に庄入するとともに混 練物 9が硬化し、 各々の木材小片 2 · "の大部分が混練物 9中に 埋没した状態の固化物が得られる α
ついで、 この固化物の表面を種々の研削手段により研削して 木材小片を表面に露出させれば、 第 Ί 3図に示すような化粧板 が得られる。
この製法によれば、 木材小片 2…を粘着シー卜 1 0に粘睿じ
たうえで平板状混練物 9上に重ね、 木材小片 2…を混練物 9に 移転するもので、 木材小片 2…の配列状態が崩れることなく、 平板状混練物 9に移すことが可能となり、 作業が安定かつ容易 に行うことができるとともに目視によって木材小片 2…の配置 具合を調節できるため、 木材小片 2…の均一分散も可能となる。 また、 木材小片 2…が平板状混練物 9の中に深く沈むことがな く、 その表面に集中して小片 2…を配することができ、 木材小 片 2…の量を少なくしても、 表面の美しい化粧板が得られる。 以上のようにして得られた化粧板の木材小片分散着色不透明 樹脂屬 4の表面に透明塗料を塗布する方法や透明樹脂フイルム や透明樹脂シー卜を貼り合せる方法により透明樹脂屬 5を形成 することができる。 この他に透明樹脂層 5を形成する方法とし て、 次の方法がある。 まず、 平板状の型面を持つ型を用意し、 これの型面に透明樹脂層となる透明塗料を塗布し、 この塗料が 未乾燥状態のうちに木材小片をこの上に散布し、 木材小片の側 面を塗膜面に合わせる。 ついで、 着色不透明樹脂となる樹脂耝 成物をその上から少なくとも木材小片が隠れるまで流し込み、 周様に加熟加圧して固化させる。 ついで、 型から離型したのち、 必要に応じて基板に貼り合せて目的の化粧板とする。
また、 同様にして得られ fc化粧板の木材小片分散着色不透明 層 4上に以下のようにしてガラス繊維混入透明樹脂層 7を形成 することができる。 すなわち、 木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂釋 4の表面にガラス繊維 6を載せたのち透明樹脂層 5となる樹脂 液を流布する。 ついで、 この樹脂液の上にプラスチックフィ
ムを置き、 このプラスチックフイルムの上からローラ等で押圧 し、 樹脂液をガラス繊維 6中に含浸させるとともに残留する気 泡を脱泡せしめ、 かつ木材小片分散着色不透明樹脂屬 4の表面 に存在する微小な凹部、 ポイドなどに樹脂液を流入させる。 つ ぎに、 樹脂液を硬化させてガラス繊維 6が混入し tガラス繊維 混入透明樹脂層 7とする。 さらに、 この上に透明塗料を数回塗 布したり、 透明樹脂フィルムあるいは透明樹脂シー卜を数枚貼 り合せれば複層構造のガラス繊維混入透明樹脂層 7となる。
なお、 この発明の化粧板の形状は平板状が代表的であるが、 必ずしも平板状に限られず、 製造方法の適宜の変更によって、 円周面のような二次元状あるいは球面のような三次元状の曲面 またはそれらを組み合せた複雜な曲面を有する形状であっても よい。
(実施例 1 )
不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化^ 100重蔞部に炭酸カルシゥ ム 300重量部と黄色顔料 1重量部を配合したペース卜状の混練 钩を用意した。
一方、 ブナ、 ナラなどを幅 Ί 0〜2 0纖、 長さ 1 0〜2 0腫、 厚さ 1〜 1. 5麟の大きさの小片に切断し、 これを乾燥したのち 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液中に浸漬し、 樹脂液を含浸し、 常温で放置して半硬化状態とした木材小片を上記混練物に混合 し、 これを型に流し込みローラで均して厚さ 1 . 5腿の平板状に 成形した。 ついで、 これを室温で 3時間静置したのち、 ホッ 卜 プレスにて圧力 1. 0HP3 、 温度 100で、 時間 5分で加熟加圧し ,-
て固化物とした。 このものをサンダー掛けして研削し、 木材小 片を表面に露出した。 つぎに、 これを厚さ 2卿のラワン合板の 基板に貼り合せ、 化粧板を得た。 この化粧板表面に不飽和ポリ エステル樹脂系塗料を塗布し、 厚さ約 100 mの塗膜を形成し た。 得られた化粧板は、 木材小片の木目模様が表面に現出し、 美麗な外観を Sしていた。
(実施例 2 )
不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液 100重量部に炭酸カルシゥ
厶 400重鲎部と黄色顔料 1 重最部を配合したペース卜状の混練
物を用意した。
一方、 ブナ、 ナラなどを幅 1 0 〜 2 0躏、 長さ 1 0 〜 2 0 、
厚さ 1 〜 1 . 5編の大きさの小片に ¾断し、 これを乾燥したのち
不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液中に浸漬し、 樹脂液を含浸し、 常温で放置して半硬化状態とした木材小片を上記混練物に混合
した。 一方、 基板として厚さ 2鰣のラウン合板 ( 5 O 四方〉
上にポリウレタン樹脂系プライマーを塗布したのち、 枠を周囲
に設け、 ここに上記混合物を流し込み、 コテで均して平坦とし
厚さ 1 . 5顧の平板状に成形した。 ついで、 これを室温で 3時間
静置したのち、 ホヅ 卜プレスにて圧力 I . OMPa 、 温度 100°C 、
時間 5分で加熟加圧して固化物とした。 このものをサンダー褂
けして研削し、 木材小片を表面に露出した。 つぎに、 これの表
面に不飽和ポリエステル樹脂系塗料を塗布し、 厚さ約 100 ^ m
の塗膜を形成し、 化粧板を得た。
得られた化粧板は、 木材小片の木目模様が表面に現出し ' 美 '- ·
麗な外観を呈していた。
(実施例 3 )
不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液 100重量部に炭酸カルシゥ ム 300重璗部と黄色顔料 1重量部を配合したペース卜状の混練 物を用意した。
一方、 ゾナ、 ナラなどを幅 5〜7廳、 長さ 7〜Ί 2醮、 厚さ 1〜 1 . 5腿の大きさの小片に切断し、 これを乾燥し fcのち不飽 和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液中に浸漬し、 樹脂液を含浸し、 常 温で放置して半硬化状態とした木材小片を上記混練物に混合し、 これを型に流し込みローラで均して厚さ 1. 5腿の平板状に成形 した。 ついで、 これを室温で 3時間静置したのち、 ホッ 卜プレ スにて圧力 I . OMPa 、 温度 100で、 時間 5分で加熟加圧して固 化物とした。 このものをサンダー掛けして研削し、 木材小片を 表面に露出した。 つぎに、 これの表面に坪量 5 0 Ζ Ώέのサー フェイスマツ 卜 (ガラス織維) を置き、 透明の不飽和ポリエス テル樹脂未硬化液を約 100 g Z 7?t流布し、 この上にフッ素樹脂 フィルムを置き、 この上から CJ一ラーで押圧したのち、 温度 で 1 0分間加熟して不飽和ポリエステル樹脂を硬化させ た。 ついで、 フッ素樹脂フイルムを剥離し fcのち、 表面を軽く 研磨し、 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂系塗料を塗布し、 合計厚さが 約 200 のガラス纖維入り透明樹脂曆を形成した。 これを厚 さ 2 のラワン合板の基板に貼り合せ化粧板とした。
かくして得られた化粧板は、 木材小片の木目模様が表面に現 出し、 表面の塗装面も平滑で美麗な外観を呈していた。 ' '
(実施例 4 )
不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液 100重量部に炭酸カルシゥ ム 300重量部と黄色顔料 1重璗部を配合し、 練して型 1 に流 し込み、 ローラで均して厚さ 1.5觑の平板状混練物 2とした。
一方、 ブナ、 ナラなどを幅 1 0〜 20顧、 長さ 1 0〜 20卿、 厚さ 1〜 1.5顧の大きさの小片に切断し、 これを乾燥したのち 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液中に浸瀵し、 樹脂液を含浸し、 常湿で放置して半硬化状態とした木材小片を平板状混練物上に 手で散布した。 散布鼂は混練物の全表面の 85〜90%が隠れ るように均一に配置した。 これを室温で 3時閻静置したのち、 ホッ 卜プレスにて圧力 LOMPa 、 温度 100°C、 時間 5分で加熱 加圧て固化物とした。 このものをサンダー掛けして研削し、 木 材小片を表面に露出した。 次に、 これの表面に不飽和ポリ エス テル樹脂系塗料を塗布し、 厚さ約 100 77I塗膜を形成し、 さら にこれを基板としての厚さ 2卿のラワン合板に貼り合せ、 化粧 板とした。 得られた化粧板は木材小片の木目模様が表面に現出 し、 美麗な外観を呈していた。 - (実施例 5 )
不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液 100重量部に炭酸カルシゥ 厶 400重蠆部と黄色顔料 1重量部を配合し、 混練して型に流し 込み、 ローラで均して厚さ 1.5廳の平板状混練物とした。
一方、 ブナ、 ナラなどを幅 1 0〜 20卿、 長さ Ί Ο〜 20顺、 厚さ 1〜 1.5顧の大きさの小片に切断し、 これを乾燥したのち 不飽和ポリエステル樹脂未硬化液中に浸潰し、 樹脂液を含浸し、 '-
常温で放置して半硬化状態とし fc木材小片を粘着シー卜上に手 で散布して配列した。 散布量は粘着シー卜の全表面の 8 5〜 9 0 %が隠れるように均一に配置した。 これを先の平板状混練 物上に重ね合せ、 ローラで軽く押圧し常温で 3時間静置したの ち、 粘着シートを剥離した。 ついで、 このものをホッ トプレス にて JE力 1 HPa 、 温度 100°C、 時間 5分で加熟加圧して固化物 としたのち、 木材小片 Ίのある表面をサンダー掛けして研削し、 不飽和ポリ 1ステル樹脂系透钥塗料を塗布し、 厚さ約 の 美麗な化粧板を得た。

18. 硬化性樹脂液に充填剤を混合し fc混線物を平板状となし、 この上に木材小片を散布したのち、 加熟加圧して固化物とし、 ついでこの固化物の表面を研削し fcのち、 この表面にガラス繊 維を載置し、 透明樹脂液を流布し固化させることを特锒とする 化粧板の製法。
19. 多数の木材小片が粘着シートに配列、 粘着された状態の木 材小片粘着シー卜状物を作り、 これを硬化性樹脂液に充縝剤を 混合した混線物からなる平板状混練物と重ね合せ、 ついで粘着 シー卜を剥雜して木材小片を平板状混練饬に移し、 これを加熟 '一
加圧して固化物としたのち、 この固化物の表面を研削し、 この 表面にガラス鐵雑を載置し、 透明樹脂液を流布し、 固化させる ことを特徴とする化粧板の製法。
