明細書 樹脂組成物 技術分野
本発明は、 バリア性、 機械強度、 柔軟性、 延伸性、 溶融安定性、 スクラップ回 収性、 熱接着性、 塗装性、 耐汚染性、 透明性等に優れた、 エチレン一ビニルアル コール共重合体 (A) 、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B ) 、 エチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ラ ンダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C ) および 1 1以下の溶解性パラメーター ( F e d o r sの式から算出) を有する前記樹脂以外の熱可塑性樹脂 (D ) からな る相溶性の良好な樹脂組成物に関する。 背景技術
ポリオレフインやポリスチレンのような疎水性熱可塑性樹脂は、 その優れた溶 融成形性、 二次加工性、 機械特性、 経済性から、 食品包装分野においてはフィル ム、 ボトル、 カップ等の容器等に、 非食品分野においては、 生活用品、 家電部品 、 自動車部品等に巾広く使用されている。 また、 これらの樹脂とエチレンービニ ルアルコール共重合体 (以下、 E V O Hと記す) との多層構造体は、 酸素、 フレ —バー等に対するバリア性が必要とされる食品分野等において広く使用されてい る。
このように、 疎水性熱可塑性樹脂と E V O Hを積層することで両者の特性を生 かすことが可能であるが、 同時に両者を配合して用いる手法も広く用いられてい る。
ところが E V 0 Hは親水性の高レ 樹脂であり、 疎水性熱可塑性樹脂と配合する 際には相溶性に問題があり、 良好な物性を有する樹脂組成物が得られないという 課題を有している。 これまで、 極性官能基を保有するポリオレフイン系樹脂に代 表される各種の相溶化剤が検討されているが、 その効果は必ずしも充分ではなく 、 両者を良好に相溶させる高性能の相溶化剤の開発が望まれている。
ポリオレフインやポリスチレンのような疎水性の熱可塑性樹脂と E V OHを積 層する手法は有用ではあるが、 成形物の形状が複雑な場合あるいは成形物が小型 の場合には、 両者を多層成形することが困難であるため、 バリア性を有する熱可 塑性の単層バリア材の開発が望まれている。 特開平 6— 8 0 1 5 0号公報 (ョー ロッパ特許第 5 8 4 8 0 8号) には、 バリア性を有する単層バリア材の例として 、 口頭部と筒状胴部からなる 2ピースチューブ状容器の口頭部用に、 ポリオレフ ィン、 融点 1 3 5 以上の E V O Hおよび融点 1 3 0で以下の E V O Hの 3成分 からなる樹脂組成物を用いる方法が記載されている。 しかし、 この方法で得られ た口頭部は、 バリア性、 機械強度、 また口頭部と筒状胴部の接着力等の要求性能 を必ずしも十分に満足するものではなかった。
また、 ポリオレフイン、 ポリスチレンなどの疎水性熱可塑性樹脂は疎水性であ るがために、 さまざまな欠点を有している。 例えば塗装された成形品を得る場合 には、 成形品の表面が非極性であることから塗料ビヒクルとの接着性 (密着性) が悪く、 一般にはプライマー処理を行うことにより密着性を保持する必要があり 塗装コストが高くなる、 という欠点を有している。 さらに、 近年地球環境問題の 点から、 塗料も有機溶剤ベースのものから水性塗料に移行する流れとなってきて いるが、 水性塗料の場合はさらに疎水性熱可塑性樹脂との密着性が低いため、 密 着性を改良した熱可塑性樹脂の開発が一段と望まれている。
—方、 E V O Hは、 食品等の包装用フィルム、 特に酸素、 臭気、 フレーバー等 に対するバリァ性が必要な食品分野において、 その有効性が認められている。 しかし、 E V OH自身ではタフネスに欠けるため、 E V O H単体で使用される ケースがほとんどないのが現状である。 例えば、 E V O Hフィルムは、 繰り返し 折り曲げ等の変形を受けた場合には、 ピンホールを生じやすいという欠点を有し ている。 このような、 EVOHの欠点である柔軟性を改良する方法として、 EVOHと ポリエチレン、 ポリプロピレン、 ポリアミド等の熱可塑性樹脂層や各種接着性樹 脂層とを積層し、 多層構造体として使用する場合が多い。 しかしながら、 前述し たように、 成形物の形状が複雑な場合あるいは成形物が小型の場合には、 熱可塑 性樹脂と EVOHとの多層構造体を作製することが困難であるため、 単層構造で 使用しなければならない場合がある。 また、 多層構造体として使用するにしても 、 EVOH樹脂層の柔軟性が不充分なため、 全体として性能が不充分になり用途 が制限されることもある。 そこで、 EVOHのバ ァ性を保持しながらも柔軟性 を兼ね備えた樹脂組成物の開発が望まれている。
これらの欠点を改善するために、 EVOHに対して柔軟性の優れたエチレン系 重合体等を配合する方法がこれまで数多く報告されているが、 多くの場合、 柔軟 性、 延伸性の改善効果が不充分であったり、 EVOHが有する透明性を大きく損 なったりして、 広く採用されるに至っていないのが現状である。 そこで、 柔軟性 、 延伸性および透明性に優れた樹脂組成物の開発が望まれている。
また、 EVOHは耐薬品性、 耐油性、 耐汚染性、 可塑剤の遮蔽性に優れている ので、 壁紙、 化粧合板、 塩ビレザー等、 各種内装材の表面に EVOHフィルムを 積層することが広く行われている。 しかし、 EVOHフィルムは光沢度が高く、 艷消しの要求される壁紙やレザーなどの用途では、 艷消しロールを熱圧着し艷消 し処理がなされるものの、 圧力を十分かけられないケースでは EVOH表面の光 沢を十分消せない問題がある。 一般に、 フィルムの艷を消す方法としては上記の 艷消しロールによるもの以外に、 (1) サンドブラスト法、 (2) 化学薬品によ る表面処理法、 (3) 粉末無機物質をブレンドする方法なども知られている。 し かしながら、 これらの方法は、 コストが高い、 あるいは生産性、 製膜性が悪いな どの欠点を有している。 特に (3) の粉末無機物質をブレンドする方法は、 EV OHの場合、 十分な艷消し効果が得られるほど大量に粉末無機物質を配合すると 、 フィルムに穴があき製膜できなくなる。 かかる問題を解決する方法として、 特開昭 64— 74252号公報には、 EV OH95〜50重量%とカルボン酸変性ポリエチレン樹脂 5〜 50重量%からな り、 少なくとも片面の表面光沢度が 60 %以下である艷消しフィルムについて記 載されている。 しかしながらこの構成でもまだブレンド樹脂組成物の熱安定性の 点で不充分である。
熱可塑性樹脂と EVOH樹脂からなる多層容器 (ボトル、 カップ等) を作製す る際、 製造工程にてスクラップ (ボトルのバリ、 カップの打ち抜き屑) が発生す る。 かかるスクラップを回収利用する方法としては、 一般的には熱可塑性樹脂層 と EVOH層との間にスクラップ回収層を介在させる方法がとられている。 しか しながら、 熱可塑性樹脂と EVOH樹脂とを含むスクラップ回収層を溶融押出す る際、 回収層中の EVOHと熱可塑性樹脂の相溶性不良、 あるいは EVOHの熱 劣化が原因と考えられる流動異常が発生し、 スクラップ回収層を含む多層シート およびその熱成形物に波模様が発生する場合がある。
この問題を解決するために、 エチレン含有量 20〜65モル%、 酢酸ビニル成 分のケン化度 96 %以上の EVOHと熱可塑性樹脂とを配合する際の相溶化剤と して、 エチレン含有量 68〜98モル%、 酢酸ビニル成分のケン化度 20 %以上 の EVOHをブレンドする方法が提案されている (特開平 3— 215032 ;米 国特許第 5094921号) 。 しかし、 多層シートおよびその成形物に発生する 波模様を完全に消滅させるほどの改善効果はなく、 より高性能の相溶化剤の開発 が望まれている。
ところで特開平 4一 164941号公報には、 ポリオレフイン 50〜99. 5 重量%、 EVOH0. 4〜50重量%、 およびポリオレフインにエチレン性不飽 和カルボン酸またはその誘導体をグラフト反応させ、 さらにポリアミドと溶融混 合させてなるグラフト重合体 0. 1〜15重量%からなる、 ガスバリア性に優れ たポリオレフイン系樹脂組成物が記載されている。 また特開平 4一 164944 号公報には、 ポリオレフイン 0. 4〜50重量%、 EV〇H50〜99. 5重量 %、 および上記グラフト重合体 0. 1〜1 5重量%からなる、 耐水性、 高湿度雰 囲気下でのガスバリア性、 延伸性および柔軟性に優れた EVOH系樹脂組成物が 記載されている。
しかしながら、 ポリアミドと溶融混合する変性ポリオレフインは不飽和カルボ ン酸またはその誘導体をポリオレフインにグラフト反応させたものであり、 本発 明のようなランダム共重合体ではない。 後述の比較例でも示すように、 グラフト 共重合体を用いたのでは本発明の目的を達成することができない。
また特開平 8— 2 1 7934号公報 (ヨーロッパ公開公報第 797625号) に は EV〇H50〜85重量部、 不飽和カルボン酸含有量が 4〜 1 5モル%のェチ レン一不飽和カルボン酸共重合体のアイオノマー 1 0〜40重量部およびポリア ミド 1〜25重量部からなる熱可塑性樹脂組成物が、 ガスバリア性、 耐衝撃性、 耐ピンホール性、 延伸性、 絞り性および透明性に優れている旨記載されている。 また、 特開平 9一 77945号公報( ヨーロッパ公開公報第 797625号) に は、 上記樹脂組成物 100重量部に対し脂肪酸金属塩を 0. 0 1〜 3重量部配合 し、 熱安定性を改善した樹脂組成物についても記載されている。
しかしながら、 この樹脂組成物では、 後述の比較例でも示すように、 EVOHを 主成分とする樹脂組成物としての柔軟性、 特に耐屈曲性の改善効果が未だ不充分 である。 また、 この 3成分からなる樹脂組成物に特定の疎水性熱可塑性樹脂をさ らに配合することについては記載されていない。
特公昭 5 1— 41657号公報 (米国特許 3857754号、 3975463 号) には低密度ポリエチレン 30〜98重量部、 EV〇H2〜70重量部、 およ びアイオノマーあるいはポリアミドからなる群から選ばれた、 少なくとも 1種の 主鎖または側鎖にカルボ二ル基を有する熱可塑性重合体 0. 5〜1 5重量部から なる加工性およびガスバリア性に優れた樹脂組成物について記載されている。 該 公報にはポリアミドおよびアイオノマ一の両方を配合することができる旨の記載 はあるものの、 それらを同時に配合することが好ましいこと、 およびそうして得 られる効果については何ら記載されていない。 またポリアミドとアイオノマーの 配合比についても何ら記載されていない。
なお、 ポリアミドあるいはアイオノマーのいずれかが欠けたときに本発明の効 果を奏し得ないことは後述の比較例にも示されているとおりである。
上述の背景から、 本発明の目的は、 バリア性、 機械強度、 柔軟性、 延伸性、 溶 融安定性、 熱接着性、 塗装性、 耐汚染性、 透明性等に優れた相溶性の良好な樹脂 組成物を提供すると共に、 熱可塑性樹脂と EVOHの多層構造体において、 波模 様の発生等のないスクラップ回収性に優れた樹脂組成物を提供することにある。 なお、 本発明で言うところのバリア性とは、 酸素、 窒素、 炭酸ガス等の気体に 対するバリア性、 即ちガスバリア性のみに限定されるものではなく、 香気成分 ( 例えば、 リモネン等) 、 臭気成分 (例えば、 スカトール等) あるいはガソリン等 の炭化水素類に対する非吸着性、 非透過性をも含むものである。 発明の開示
上記目的はエチレン一ビニルアルコール共重合体 (A) 、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B ) 、 エチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) 、 お よび 1 1以下の溶解性パラメーター (F e d o r sの式から算出) を有する前記 樹脂以外の熱可塑性樹脂 (D) からなり ;

このとき、 樹脂組成物の合計重量に対して、 高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩お よび八イド口タルサイト化合物から選ばれる少なくとも 1種を 0. 01〜3重量 部含むこと、 あるいは配合重量比 W (B) ZW (B + C) が 0. 5以下であるこ とが好ましい。
ここで熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 エチレン—ビニルアルコール共 重合体 (A) が分散相となることが好適な場合、 あるいはエチレン一ビニルアル コール共重合体 (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) が分散相となるこ とが好適な場合があるが、 後者の場合には熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の 20°Cにおける 弾性モジュラスが 500 k gZcm2以下であることが好ましい。
かかる樹脂組成物の好ましい製法としては、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) およびェチ レン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) を先に溶融混 合してから、 エチレン一ビニルアルコール共重合体 (A) および熱可塑性樹脂 ( D) と溶融混合する樹脂組成物の製法が挙げられる。
本発明の樹脂組成物を用いた好適な態様としては、 樹脂組成物からなる層を少 なくとも 1層含む多層構造体、 チューブ状容器の口頭部、 表面に塗料が塗布され てなる成形品、 熱成形容器、 フレキシブルフィルムおよび少なくとも片面の表面 光沢度が 60 %以下である艷消しフィルムが挙げられる。
さらに、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) およびエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共 重合体またはその金属塩 (C) を相溶化剤として使用し、 エチレン一ビニルアル コール共重合体 (A) および 11以下の溶解性パラメータ一 (F e d o r sの式 から算出) を有する前記樹脂以外の熱可塑性樹脂 (D) を主成分とする成形物の スクラップを回収するスクラップ回収法も本発明の有用な実施態様である。
このとき、 相溶化剤に高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩およびハイドロタルサイ ト化合物の少なくとも 1種を含有するスクラップ回収法が好適である。
また上記回収法によつて得た樹脂組成物からなるスクラップ回収層を少なくと も 1層含む多層構造体も好適な実施態様である。
本発明で用いられる EVOH (A) は、 エチレン—ビニルエステル共重合体を けん化して得られるものであり、 エチレン含有量 15〜70モル%、 好適には 2 0〜65モル%、 最適には 25〜60モル%、 さらに、 ビニルエステル成分のけ ん化度が 85%以上、 好適には 90 %以上のものが使用できる。 エチレン含有量 15モル%未満では溶融成形性が悪く、 耐水性、 耐熱水性が低下する。 一方、 7 0モル%を越える場合は、 バリア性が不足する。 また、 けん化度が 85%未満で は、 バリア性、 熱安定性が悪くなる。 さらに、 エチレン含有量が 70モル%を超 えるか、 もしくはけん化度が 85 %未満では、 得られたフィルムの耐汚染性が低 下し、 かつまた、 このフィルムを可塑剤を含むポリ塩化ビニルに積層して壁紙な どに使用する場合、 可塑剤のブリードアウトを抑制する能力も低下する。
EVOH製造時に用いるビニルエステルとしては酢酸ビニルが代表的なものとし てあげられるが、 その他の脂肪酸ビニルエステル (プロピオン酸ビニル、 ピバリ ン酸ビニルなど) も使用できる。 また、 EVOHは共重合成分としてビニルシラ ン化合物 0. 0002〜0. 2モル%を含有することができる。 ここで、 ビニル シラン系化合物としては、 たとえば、 ビニルトリメトキシシラン、 ビニルトリエ トキシシラン、 ビニルトリ ( 3—メトキシーエトキシ) シラン、 ァーメタクリル ォキシプロピルメトキシシラン力 ^挙げられる。 なかでも、 ビニルトリメトキシシ ラン、 ビニルトリエトキシシランが好適に用いられる。 さらに、 本発明の目的が 阻害されない範囲で、 他の共単量体 [例えば、 プロピレン、 ブチレン、 不飽和力 ルボン酸又はそのエステル { (メタ) アクリル酸、 (メタ) アクリル酸メチル、 (メタ) アクリル酸ェチルなど } 、 ビニルピロリドン (Ν—ビニルピロリドンな ど) を共重合することも出来る。
本発明に用いる EVOHの好適なメルトインデックス (Μ I ) (190°C、 2 1 60 g荷重下) は 0. 1〜50 g/10m i n. 、 最適には 0. 5〜30 gZl Om i n. である。 但し、 融点が 19 O :付近あるいは 190 を越えるものは 216 O g荷重下、 融点以上の複数の温度で測定し、 片対数グラフで絶対温度の 逆数を横軸、 Mlの対数を縦軸にプロットし、 190 に外挿した値で表す。 こ れらの EVOH樹脂は、 それぞれ単独で用いることもできるし、 2種以上を混合 して用いることもできる。
本発明で用いられるポリアミド樹脂 (B) は、 アミド結合を有する重合体であ つて、 例えば、 ポリ力プロアミド (ナイロン一 6)-、 ポリゥンデカンアミド (ナ イロンー 1 1) 、 ポリラウリルラクタム (ナイロン一 12) 、 ポリへキサメチレ ンアジパミド (ナイロン一 6, 6) 、 ポリへキサメチレンセバカミド (ナイロン 一 6, 12) の如き単独重合体、 力プロラクタム ラウリルラクタム共重合体 ( ナイロン一 6/12) 、 力プロラクタム Zアミノウンデカン酸重合体 (ナイロン -6/1 1) 、 力プロラクタム Ζω—アミノノナン酸重合体 (ナイロン一 6, 9 ) 、 力プロラクタム /へキサメチレンジアンモニゥムアジペート共重合体 (ナイ ロン—6/6, 6) 、 力プロラクタム Ζへキサメチレンジアンモニゥムアジぺー ト Ζへキサメチレンジアンモニゥムセバケート共重合体 (ナイロン— 6Ζ6, 6 /6, 12) 、 アジピン酸とメタキシリレンジァミンとの重合体、 あるいはへキ サメチレンジァミンと m, p—フ夕ル酸との重合体である芳香族系ナイロンなど が挙げられる。 これらのポリアミド系樹脂は、 それぞれ単独で用いることもでき るし、 2種以上を混合して用いることもできる。
EVOHとの相溶性の点から、 これらのポリアミド樹脂 (B) のうち、 ナイロン 6成分を含むポリアミド (例えば、 ナイロン一 6、 ナイロン一 6, 12、 ナイ口 ンー 6Z12、 ナイロン一 6/6, 6等) が好ましい。 EVOHとナイロンは溶 融過程で反応してゲル化するため、 プレンド組成物の熱劣化を抑制する点から、 ナイロンの融点は 240°C以下、 好ましくは 230°C以下のものを用いるのが好 ましい。 本発明に用いるポリアミド (B) の好適なメルトインデックス (Ml) (210 で、 2160 g荷重下) は 0. l~50 gZl 0m i n. 、 最適には 0. 5〜3 0 g/ 10m i n. である。 但し、 融点が 210 付近あるいは 210 を越え るものは 2160 g荷重下、 融点以上の複数の温度で測定し、 片対数グラフで絶 対温度の逆数を横軸、 M Iの対数を縦軸にプロットし、 210でに外挿した値で 表す。
本発明で用いられるエチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその 金属塩 (C) とは、 エチレンと不飽和カルボン酸をランダム共重合して得られる 重合体、 あるいはそのカルボン酸成分を中和して得られる金属塩であるいわゆる アイオノマ一のことをいう。 ここで、 エチレンと不飽和カルボン酸がランダムに 共重合していることが極めて重要であり、 ポリエチレンに不飽和カルボン酸をグ ラフトさせた共重合体を用いたのでは、 後述の比較例でも示すように、 本発明の 効果を奏すことはできない。 ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩がグラフト共重 合体に比べて優れている理由は明らかでないが、 グラフト共重合体より、 ランダ ム共重合体の方がポリアミド樹脂 (B) に対する相溶性が良いからであると考え られる。 更に、 グラフト共重合体の場合は、 EVOH中の水酸基とグラフト共重 合体中のカルボキシル基が反応するためか、 ゲル 'フィッシュアイが発生しやす く好ましくない。 特に長時間に渡る溶融成形を行う場合にゲル 'フィッシュアイ の発生が顕著である。 また、 本樹脂組成物において、 エチレン一不飽和カルボン 酸ランダム共重合体より、 その金属塩であるアイオノマ一を用いる方が優れてい る理由は明確でないが、 アイオノマーの方がナイロンに対する相溶性が良好であ るためと考えられる。
不飽和カルボン酸の含有量は、 好ましくは 2〜 15モル%、 さらに好ましくは 3~12モル%である。 不飽和カルボン酸としては、 例えば、 アクリル酸、 メタ アクリル酸、 エタアクリル酸、 マレイン酸、 マレイン酸モノメチル、 マレイン酸 モノェチル、 無水マレイン酸などが例示され、 特にアクリル酸あるいはメタァク リル酸が好ましい。 また、 共重合体に含有されても良い他の単量体としては、 齚 酸ビニル、 プロピオン酸ビニルのようなビニルエステル、 アクリル酸メチル、 ァ クリル酸ェチル、 アクリル酸イソプロピル、 アクリル酸イソプチル、 アクリル酸 n—プチル、 アクリル酸 2—ェチルへキシル、 メタアクリル酸メチル、 メタァク リル酸イソブチル、 マレイン酸ジェチルのような不飽和カルボン酸エステル、 一 酸化炭素などが例示される。
アイオノマーにおける金属イオンとしては、 リチウム、 ナトリウム、 カリウム などのアルカリ金属、 亜鉛、 マグネシウム、 カルシウムなどのアルカリ土類金属 が例示され、 特に亜鉛を用いた場合がナイロンに対する相溶性の点で好ましい。 アイオノマーにおける中和度は、 100%以下、 特に 90%以下、 さらに 70% 以下の範囲が望ましい。 中和度の下限値については、 通常 5%以上、 特に 10% 以上、 さらには 30%以上が望ましい。
本発明に用いるエチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属 塩の好適なメルトインデックス (M I ) (190°C、 2160 g荷重下) は、 好 ましくは 0. 05〜50 g/10分、 さらに好ましくは 0. S S O gZl O分 である。 これらのエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属 塩は、 それぞれ単独で用いることもできるし、 2種以上を混合して用いることも できる。
本発明で用いられる熱可塑性樹脂 (D) は、 成分 (A) 、 (B) 、 (C) とは異 なる熱可塑性樹脂であり、 溶解性パラメ一夕一が 1 1以下である事が重要である 。 即ち、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) とエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体ま たはその金属塩 (C) の溶解性パラメーター (F e d o r sの式から算出) が近 いことにより、 結果として、 4成分 (A) 、 (B) 、 (C) 、 (D) 間の相溶性 が向上する。 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の溶解性パラメーターが 1 1以上である場合、 4成分 (A) 、 (B) 、 (C) 、 (D) 間の相溶性が低下し、 ブレンド樹脂組成 物のスクラップ回収性、 熱成形性、 機械強度、 透明性等が著しく低下する。 溶解性パラメ一夕一が 1 1以下の熱可塑性樹脂 (D) として、 ポリオレフイン系 樹脂、 スチレン系樹脂、 ポリ塩化ビニル系樹脂などが挙げられる。 その中でも、 ポリオレフイン系樹脂が最も好ましく、 高密度もしくは低密度ポリエチレン、 ポ リプロピレン、 ポリブテン一 1などの α—ォレフインの単独重合体、 エチレン、 プロピレン、 ブテン一 1、 へキセン一 1などから選ばれた α—才レフイン同士の 共重合体などが例示される。 また、 α—才レフインに以下の成分を共重合したも のも含まれる。 α—才レフインとの共重合成分としては、 ジォレフイン、 塩ィ匕ビ ニル、 酢酸ビニルなどのビニル化合物、 マレイン酸、 アクリル酸、 メ夕クリル酸 などの不飽和カルボン酸、 またはその無水物などが挙げられる。 また、 スチレン 系樹脂としては、 ポリスチレン、 アクリロニトリル一ブタジエン一スチレン共重 合樹脂 (ABS) 、 アクリロニトリル—スチレン共重合樹脂 (AS) 等が挙げら れる。 これらの熱可塑性樹脂は、 それぞれ単独で用いることもできるし、 2種以 上を混合して用いることもできる。
本発明に用いる熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の好適なメルトインデックス (MI) (1 90で、 2160 g荷重下) は、 好ましくは 0. 05〜100gZl O分、 さら に好ましくは 0. 05〜 50 gZ 10分、 最適には 0. 5〜30 gZl O分であ る。 但し、 融点が 190で付近あるいは 190でを越えるものは 2160 g荷重 下、 融点以上の複数の温度で測定し、 片対数グラフで絶対温度の逆数を横軸、 M Iの対数を縦軸にプロッ卜し、 190°Cに外挿した値で表す。
本発明においては、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) を相溶させるに際し 、 相溶化剤としてポリアミド (B) とエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重 合体またはその金属塩 (C) の 2成分を使用することが最大の特徴であり、 ポリ アミド (B) とエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) の組合せを使用することにより、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) 間 の相溶性を著しく改善することができ、 優れた特性を有する樹脂組成物を得るこ とができる。 換言すれば、 相溶性の良くない樹脂、 即ち、 溶解性パラメ一夕一の 大きく異なる樹脂である EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) との相溶性を向上 させる方策として、 EVOH (A) に相溶性の良いポリアミド (B) と熱可塑性 樹脂 (D) に相溶性の良いエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体または その金属塩 (C) を相溶化剤として使用することにより、 本発明の樹脂組成物を 見出すに至った。
本発明の樹脂組成物中の各成分の配合重量比は下記式 (1) へ (4) を満足す るものである。

W (A + D) /W (T) が 0. 995を越える場合あるいは W (B + C) /W (T) が 0. 005未満の場合には、 EVOH (Α) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の相 溶性が低下し、 本発明の効果が得られない。 また、 W (A + D) /W (Τ) が 0 . 6未満の場合あるいは W (B + C) /W (Τ) 力 θ. 4を越える場合には、 組 成物全体の量のうち EVOH (Α) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の比率が低下するため 、 本来 EVOH (A) の有するバリア性や熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の有する溶融成形 性等の性能が低下する。 - W (A) /W (A + D) が 0. 01未満の場合には組成物のガスバリア性が不 足し、 W (A) /W (A + D) が 0. 99を越える場合には組成物の柔軟性の改 善効果が不充分である。
また、 W (B) ZW (B + C) が 0. 02未満の場合、 EVOH (A) とポリ アミド樹脂 (B) の相溶性が低下し、 W (B) /W (B + C) が 0. 98を越え る場合、 エチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) との相溶性が低下する。
各成分間の相溶性の低下は、 樹脂組成物自身の機械強度の低下あるいはバリァ 性、 熱接着性、 塗装性、 艷消し性、 柔軟性、 延伸性の低下につながり、 また熱可 塑性樹脂と EVOHからなる多層容器製造時に発生するスクラップの回収におい て、 スクラップ回収層を含む多層シートおよびその熱成形物に波模様が発生する 原因となる。
また、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) とエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体 またはその金属塩 (C) との配合重量比 W (B) /W (B + C) 力 0. 5以下 であることが、 熱安定性の観点から好ましく、 より好適には 0. 45以下であり 、 最適には 0. 4以下である。 配合重量比 W (B) /W (B + C) がかかる範囲 にあることで、 樹脂組成物の溶融安定性が改善され、 長時間におよぶ溶融成形に おいても良好な外観の成形物を得ることができ、 生産性が向上する。 この理由は 明らかではないが、 EVOHとポリアミドの反応が溶融安定性に悪影響を与えて いるものと考えられる。
上記の配合比率で配合する際、 それぞれの樹脂の分散形態は特に限定されるも のではないが、 用途により熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 EVOH (A ) が分散相となる方が好ましい場合と、 逆に EVOH (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) が分散相となる方が好ましい場合とがある。
熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 EVOH (A) が分散相となる樹脂組 成物は、 全体として熱可塑性樹脂の特長を保有していながら、 EVOHを配合す ることによってその特性を付与することができる点で有用である。 すなわち熱接 着性および機械強度を保持しながらバリア性を改善できるチューブ状容器の口頭 部、 機械強度を保持しながら塗装性を改善できる成形品などの用途に有用である 。 また、 熱可塑性樹脂が主成分で、 EVOH成分が少量成分であるスクラップの 回収組成物としても広く用いられる。
このような分散形態は、 W (A) ZW (A + D) の値を小さくすること、 あ るいは (A) の溶融粘度を (D) の溶融粘度より大きくすることにより得ること ができる。
このとき W (A) /W (A + D) の値は 0. 65以下であることが好ましく、 0. 6以下であることがより好ましい。 W (A) /W (A + D) の値が 0. 6 5を越える場合には、 熱可塑性樹脂がマトリックス相を形成しにくくなる。
また、 逆に EVOH (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) が分散相と なる樹脂組成物は、 全体として EVOHの保有する優れた性能を保持していなが ら、 熱可塑性樹脂を配合することでその特性を付与することができる点で有用で ある。 すなわち、 EVOHの有する優れたバリア性を保持しながら柔軟性、 延伸 性が改善されたフィルムや、 EVOHの有する優れた耐汚染性を保持しながら光 沢度を低下させた艷消しフィルムなどの用途で有用である。
このような分散形態は、 W (A) /W (A + D) の値を大きくすること、 あ るいは (A) の溶融粘度を (D) の溶融粘度より小さくすることにより得ること ができる。
このとき W (A) /W (A + D) の値は 0. 65以上であることが好ましく、 0. 7以上であることがより好ましい。 W (A) /W (A + D) の値が 0. 6 5未満の場合には、 EVOHがマトリックス相を形成しにくくなる。
EVOH (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) が分散相となる場合、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の 20 における弾性モジュラス (ASTM D 882) が 5 00 k g/ cm2以下であることが好ましい。 より好適には 400 k gZcm2以 下であり、 さらに好適には 300 kgZcm2以下である。
EVOHは一般のポリマーに比べて剛性が高く柔軟性に欠けるため、 屈曲に対 する耐性が低く、 フレキシブルな包装用途においては使用できない場合も多い。 また、 スキンパック包装、 シュリンク包装、 熱成形フィルムあるいはシート等の 延伸工程のあるプロセスでは、 延伸ムラによる熱成形物の厚み分布不良によるガ スバリア性の悪化、 更には外観不良が問題となる。 そこで、 良好な耐屈曲性、 延 伸性を発現させるために、 より小さい力で延伸可能な低ヤング率の組成物が望ま れている。 かかる要望に対し、 EVOH (A) に対し熱可塑性樹脂 (D) を配合 することが有効であり、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の 20でにおける弾性モジュラスを 500 k gZcm2以下とすることが特に有効である。
弾性モジュラスが 500 k g/ cm2以下である熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の例とし ては、 超低密度ポリエチレン (VLDPE) 、 エチレン一酢酸ビニル共重合体 ( EVA) 、 エチレン—メチルメタクリレート共重合体 (EMAA) 、 エチレン一 ェチルァクリレート共重合体 (EEA) 、 エチレン一プロピレン共重合体 (EP R) 、 スチレン系エラストマ一 (SEBS樹脂等) などが挙げられる。
本発明の樹脂組成物には、 高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩およびハイドロタル サイト化合物の少なくとも 1種を含有させることにより、 EVOH (A) とポリ アミド樹脂 (B) が反応することによる EVOHの熱劣化を防ぐこと力でき、 ま た後述する実施例からも明らかなように、 スクラップ層を含有する多層共押出シ 一卜に波模様などのない優れた成形物を得ることもできる。
ここで、 ハイド口タルサイト化合物としては特に MXA 1 y (OH) 2x + 3y_2z (A) z · aH20 (Mは Mg、 C aまたは Zn、 Aは C O 3または H P〇4、 x、 y、 z、 aは正数) で示される複塩であるハイド口タルサイト化合物を挙げるこ とができ、 このようなもので、 特に好適なものとして次のようなものが例示され る。

0. 75Zn0.25] 0. 67 A 10.33 (OH) 2 (CO 3) o. 167 - 0. 45 H2〇のよ うなものも用いることができる。
高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩とは炭素数 8〜2 2の高級脂肪酸の金属塩であ り、 炭素数 8〜 22の高級脂肪酸としては、 ラウリン酸、 ステアリン酸、 ミリス チン酸などがあげられ、 また金属としては、 ナトリウム、 カリウム、 マグネシゥ ム、 カルシウム、 亜鉛、 バリウム、 アルミニウムなどがあげられる。 このうちマ グネシゥム、 カルシウム、 バリウム等のアルカリ土類金属が好適である。
これらの高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩およびハイドロタルサイト化合物の含 有量は、 樹脂組成物の合計重量に対して 0. 0 1〜3重量部が好ましく、 より好 適には 0. 05〜2. 5重量部である。 また、 本発明の樹脂組成物には、 他の添 加剤 (熱安定剤、 可塑剤、 紫外線吸収剤、 酸化防止剤、 着色剤、 フィラー、 他の 樹脂など) を本発明の目的が阻害されない範囲で使用することは自由である。 本発明の組成物は、 通常の溶融混練装置により各成分を溶融混練することによ り容易に得ることができる。 ブレンドする方法に関しては、 特に限定されるもの ではないが、 EVOH (A) 、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) 、 エチレン—不飽和カルボ ン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) 、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) を同時に単 軸または二軸スクリュー押出機などでペレツ卜化し乾燥する方法、 あるいはまず 最初にポリアミド樹脂 (B) とエチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体ま たはその金属塩 (C) を溶融混合一冷却一ペレット化した後、 EVOH (A) と 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) にドライブレンドし、 単軸または二軸スクリュー押出機など でペレツト化し乾燥する方法等があげられる。
なかでも、 後述する実施例でも示されているように、 まず最初にポリアミド樹 脂 (B) とエチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C ) を溶融配合してから、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) と溶融配合する方 法により本発明の目的を効果的に達成することができる。 この理由は必ずしも明 らかではないが、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の相溶化剤として働くポ リアミド榭脂 (B) とエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその 金属塩 (C) のブレンド物を予め作製しておくことにより、 EVOH (A) と熱 可塑性樹脂 (D) の相溶性が向上し、 4成分からなる樹脂組成物が安定したモル フォロジーを形成するためと思われる。
なお、 溶融配合操作においては、 ブレンドが不均一になったり、 ゲル、 ブッが 発生、 混入したりする可能性があるので、 ブレンドペレット化はなるべく混練度 の高い押出機を使用し、 ホッパー口を窒素ガスでシールし、 低温で押出しするこ とが望ましい。
本発明の EVOH (A) 、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) 、 エチレン—不飽和カルボン 酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C ) および熱可塑性樹脂 (D ) からなる 樹脂組成物は、 本組成物の単層構成の成形物とすることもできるが、 他の各種基 材と 2種以上の多層構成の成形物として使用することもできる。 この組成物層と それに隣接する熱可塑性樹脂層としては、 高密度、 中密度、 あるいは低密度のポ リエチレン、 酢酸ビニル、 アクリル酸エステル、 あるいはブテン、 へキセンなど のひ一才レフイン類を共重合したポリエチレン、 アイオノマ一樹脂、 ポリプロピ レンホモポリマー、 あるいは、 エチレン、 ブテン、 へキセンなどの α—ォレフィ ン類を共重合したポリプロピレン、 ゴム系ポリマーをブレンドした変性ポリプロ ピレンなどのポリオレフイン類、 あるいはこれらの樹脂に無水マレイン酸を付加 、 あるいはグラフトした熱可塑性樹脂が好適なものとして挙げられる。 さらにそ の他の熱可塑性樹脂層として、 ポリアミド系樹脂、 ポリエステル系樹脂、 ポリス チレン樹脂、 ポリ塩化ビニル系樹脂、 アクリル系樹脂、 ボリウレタン系樹脂、 ポ リカーボネート樹脂、 ポリ酢酸ビニル系樹脂などが挙げられる。
また、 本発明の組成物層とそれに隣接する熱可塑性樹脂層の間に接着性樹脂層 を有していても良い。 接着性樹脂は特に限定されるものではないが、 不飽和カル ボン酸またはその無水物 (無水マレイン酸など) をォレフイン系重合体または共 重合体 (例えば、 L L D P E、 V L D P Eなど) 、 エチレン一酢酸ビニル共重合 体、 エチレン一 (メタ) アクリル酸エステル共重合体にグラフトしたものが代表 的なものとして挙げられる。
多層構造体を得る方法としては、 特に限定されるものではないが、 押出ラミネ ート法、 ドライラミネート法、 押出ブロー成形法、 共押出ラミネート法、 共押出 シート成形法、 共押出パイプ成形法、 共押出プロ一成形法、 共射出成形法、 溶液 コート法などが挙げられる。 次いで、 該積層体を真空圧空深絞り成形、 ブロー成 形などにより、 E V O Hの融点以下の範囲で再加熱後、 二次加工したりすること もできる。
多層構造体の層構成に関しては特に限定されるものではないが、 成形性および コスト等を考慮した場合、 熱可塑性樹脂層 樹脂組成物層/熱可塑性樹脂層、 樹 脂組成物層 Z接着性樹脂層 熱可塑性樹脂層、 熱可塑性樹脂層 接着性樹脂層/ 樹脂組成物層/接着性樹脂層/熱可塑性樹脂層が代表的なものとして挙げられる 。 両外層に熱可塑性樹脂層を設ける場合は、 異なる樹脂を用いてもよいし、 同じ ものを用いてもよい。 また、 押出成形、 ブロー成形、 熱成形等を行う際に発生す るスクラップを、 熱可塑性樹脂層にブレンドしたり、 別途回収層として設けても よい。
本発明の樹脂組成物を使用することにより、 バリ-ァ性、 機械強度、 柔軟性、 延 伸性、 溶融安定性、 スクラップ回収性、 熱接着性、 塗装性、 耐汚染性、 透明性等 に優れた成形物を得ることができるので、 様々な用途に有効である。
例えば、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 E V O H (A) が分散相とな るような樹脂組成物は、 バリア性を有する単層バリア材として、 2ピースチュー ブ状容器の口頭部、 小型の単層バリア容器 (ボトル、 カップ等) 、 紙容器あるい はバッグインボックス用のバリアスパゥト (注ぎ口) 等に利用可能である。 また 、 塗装性の改良されたプラスチック製の自動車部品等、 耐汚染性を有するプラス チック製の生活用品あるいは家電部品等に有用である。 更には、 有機溶剤に対す るバリア性を利用した燃料用タンクあるいは燃料用チューブへも利用可能である ここで熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 E V O H (A) が分散相となる ような榭脂組成物を 2ピースチューブ状容器の口頭部として用いる場合について 説明する。 本用途に用いる場合には、 熱接着性および機械強度を保持しながらバ リア性を改善できる点で、 かかる樹脂組成物の使用が有効である。
この場合に用いる熱可塑性樹脂 (D) としては、 機械強度およびチューブ部分 との熱接着性の観点から、 ポリオレフインが好ましく、 特にポリエチレンが最適 である。
また、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) と E V OH (A) の配合重量比 W (A) ZW (A + D) の値は、 良好なバリア性を確保する観点から、 0. 2以上であることが好ま しく、 0. 3以上であることがより好ましく、 0. 4以上であることが最適であ る。
次に熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 EVOH (A) が分散相となるよ うな樹脂組成物をその表面に塗料が塗布されてなる成型品として用いる場合につ いて説明する。 本用途に用いる場合には、 機械強度を保持しながら塗装性を改善 できる成形品が得られる点で、 かかる樹脂組成物の使用が有効である。
この場合に用いる熱可塑性樹脂 (D) としては、 -機械強度、 剛性、 耐衝撃性等 の観点からポリオレフィンが好ましく、 特にポリプロピレンが最適である。 用いる EVOH (A) としては塗装性を効率的に改善する観点から、 エチレン 含有量は 50モル%以下であることが好ましく、 45モル%以下であることがよ り好ましく、 40モル%以下であることが最適である。 ケン化度については、 9 0 %以上であることが好ましく、 92〜98 %であることがより好ましく、 93 ~97 %であることが最適である。
また、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) と EVOH (A) の配合重量比 W (A) ZW (A + D) の値は、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の保有する機械強度、 剛性、 耐衝撃性等を損な わず、 かつ経済性をも考慮して、 0. 3以下であることが好ましく、 0. 2以下 であることがより好ましく、 0. 15以下であることが最適である。 同様の理由 から、 樹脂組成物全体の重量に対するポリアミド樹脂 (B) およびエチレンー不 飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) の合計量の配合重量比 W (B + C) ZW (T) の値は 0. 15以下であることが好ましく、 0. 1以下 であることがより好ましい。
一方、 EVOH (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) が分散相となる ような樹脂組成物は、 柔軟性、 延伸性、 透明性の改善された EVOHを得ること ができ、 フレキシブルフィルム、 耐屈曲性が要求されるバッグインボックス、 延 伸性、 熱成形性が要求されるスキンパック包装、 シュリンク包装、 熱成形容器等 に有用である。
また、 EVOH (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) が分散相となる ような樹脂組成物は、 EVOHの有する優れた耐汚染性を保持しながら光沢度を 低下させることができるので艷消しフィルム用としても有用である。
艷消しフィルムに用いる熱可塑性樹脂 (D) としては、 機械強度、 経済性の観 点からポリオレフインが好ましく、 特にポリエチレンが好ましい。 ここでいぅポ リエチレンとは、 好ましくはその構成成分の 60モル%以上がエチレン成分から なる樹脂である。 40モル%未満の比率で使用可能なコモノマ一成分としては、 例えば、 プロピレン、 ブチレンなどのォレフィン類、 イソプレン、 ブタジエンな どのジェン類、 スチレンおよびその誘導体、 各種アクリル酸エステル、 各種メタ クリル酸エステル、 酢酸ビニルなどが挙げられる。 また 1モル%以下の割合で使 用可能なコモノマー成分として無水マレイン酸などの α, β一不飽和脂肪酸およ び該カルボン酸無水物、 メタクリル酸グリシジルエーテル、 エチレンオキサイド 、 プロピレンオキサイドなどの各種官能基を有する化合物が挙げられる。 特に α , /3—不飽和脂肪酸および該カルボン酸無水物を 0. 0005〜0. 5モル%の 割合で共重合もしくはグラフトしたポリエチレン樹脂は本発明において特に好適 に用いられる。
艷消しフィルムに用いる場合の熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の含有量は (A) 、 (Β) 、 (C) および (D) の合計量に対し 4〜45重量%であることが効果を発現す る上で好適であり、 10〜30重量%の範囲がより好ましい。 4重量%以下では 光沢度を満足できない場合があるし、 また 45重量%を超えた場合、 モルフォロ ジ一が変化し、 Ε V Ο Ηフィルムが本来持つていた特徴を維持できなくなる場合 がある。
また艷消しフィルムに用いる場合のポリアミド樹脂 (Β) とエチレン一不飽和 カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) の重量比は 2 : 98〜70 : 30、 好ましくは 3 : 97〜60 : 40、 最適には 5 : 95〜50 : 50であ る。 ポリアミド樹脂の比率が 2%未満では、 系全体の分散性が不十分なものとな り、 光沢度が満足できないばかりか、 機械特性も不十分なものとなる。 70%を 超えると EVOHとナイ口ンの反応速度が大きくなり、 生産性が問題となる。 艷消しフィルムに用いる場合のポリアミド樹脂 (B) とエチレン一不飽和カル ボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) の合計量は (A) 、 (B) 、 (
C) および (D) の合計量に対し 1〜20重量%、 好ましくは 2〜 15重量%、 最適には 3〜 10重量%である。 1重量%未満では (A) 成分と (B) 成分の分 散が不十分となり、 光沢度が満足できないばかりか、 フィルムの機械特性も低下 する。 また 20重量%を超えると、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の分散性が良好となりす ぎるためやはり光沢度を満足することができない。
また、 艷消しフィルムの少なくとも片面の光沢度は 60 %以下であることが重 要であり、 好ましくは 50%以下、 最適には 40 %以下である。 60%を超えた ものは艷消しフィルムとしては不適当である。 ここで言う光沢度とは、 村上式光 沢度計で測定した任意の 5ケ所の測定値の平均値である。
艷消しフィルムの厚さについては特に制限はないが、 1 0〜5 0 ^mが好まし レ 。 5 0 £mを超えると、 フィルムの剛性が増し、 紙壁紙、 ポリ塩化ビニル壁紙 等の内装材の基材に積層する際、 その模様等に制限を受ける場合がある。
こうして得られた本発明の艷消しフィルムを壁紙、 化粧合板等の内装材の基材 に積層することにより、 可塑剤その他好ましくない物質のブリードを抑制し、 各 種汚染物質に対する耐汚染性を付与できると共に、 光沢の消えた高級感を付与す ることができる。 また、 レザーなどに積層することによつても同様の効果を付与 することができる。
本発明のその他の好ましい実施態様として、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (
D) を主成分とする成形物、 特に (A) 層と (D) 層を有する多層成形物のスク ラップを回収するに際し、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) とエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸 ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) を相溶化剤として添加する成形物のス クラップ回収法がある。 ここで、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性榭脂 (D) を主成分 とする成形物とは、 全成形物重量の半分以上を (A) と (D) の合計重量が占め ていることをいう。
押出成形、 ブロー成形、 熱成形時等に発生するスクラップを別途回収層を設け て利用する場合に、 EVOH (A) と熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の相溶性不良が原因で 多層シートおよびその熱成形物に発生する波模様も、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) とェ チレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) を配合する ことにより著しく改善される。 また (B) および (C) にさらに高級脂肪族カル ボン酸の金属塩およびハイドロタルサイ卜化合物の少なくとも 1種を加えて使用 することにより特にその効果は顕著となる。 高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩およ びハイド口タルサイト化合物の好適な配合量は、 (B) + (C) の合計量に対し て、 0. 1〜50重量部である。
このようにして回収された樹脂組成物は、 スクラップ回収層を少なくとも 1層 有する多層構造体として有効に使用される。 例えば、 熱成形用の多層シートとし た場合には、 外観の良好な熱成形容器を得ることができる。 特に、 スクラップ回 収層に加えて EVOH層を少なくとも 1層有する多層構造体が、 バリア性の観点 から有用である。
さらに、 多層構造体のスクラップを回収するに際し、 上述のように、 スクラッ プに直接ポリアミド樹脂 (B) とエチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体 またはその金属塩 (C) を添加する方法以外にも、 多層構造体のいずれか 1層中 にあらかじめプレンドしておいても良いし、 または多層構造体のいずれか 1層、 例えば EVOHとポリオレフィンの接着剤層として使用しておいてもよい。 このような回収組成物において用いられる熱可塑性樹脂 (D) としては特に限 定されるものではないが、 機械強度、 耐衝撃性、 二次加工性、 経済性等の観点か らはポリプロピレンが、 また剛性、 光沢性、 二次加工性、 経済性等の観点からは ポリスチレンが好適に用いられる。 また、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) と EV〇H (A) の配合重量比 W (A) ZW (A + D) の値は、 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) の保有する機械強度、 剛性、 耐衝撃性等を損な わず、 かつ経済性をも考慮して、 0. 3以下であることが好ましく、 0. 25以 下であることがより好ましく、 0. 2以下であることが最適である。 同様の理由 から、 樹脂組成物全体の重量に対するポリアミド樹脂 (B) およびエチレンー不 飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) の合計量の配合重量比 W (B + C) ZW (T) の値は 0. 15以下であることが好ましく、 0. 1以下 であることがより好ましく、 0. 08以下であることが最適である。
以上のように、 本発明の樹脂組成物はバリア性、 機械強度、 柔軟性、 延伸性、 溶融安定性、 スクラップ回収性、 熱接着性、 塗装性、 耐汚染性、 透明性等に優れ ており、 各種用途において有用に使用することができる。 図面の簡単な説明

発明を実施するための最良の形態
以下、 実施例により本発明をさらに説明するが、 これによりなんら限定される ものではない。

実施例 1一 1
表 1〜4に示す樹脂を用い、 EVOH (A— 3) 40重量部、 ポリアミド (B -2) 5重量部、 エチレン—メ夕クリル酸ランダム共重合体 (EMAA ; C— 1 ) 15重量部および高密度ポリエチレン (HDPE; D— 1) 40重量部からな るブレンド物を以下の方法で得た。 すなわち、 まずポリアミド (B— 2) と EM AA (C— 1) を二軸スクリュータイプのベント式押出機に入れ、 窒素の存在下 220°Cで押出しペレット化を行い、 得られたブレンドペレット、 EVOH (A 一 3) および HDPE (D— 1) を再度同様の方法でブレンドし目的の樹脂組成 物ペレットを得た。
次に、 特開昭 56 - 2541 1号公報 (特公昭 64— 7850号) に開示され ている射出成形法によるチューブ状容器成形機を用いて、 射出成形法によりチュ ーブ状容器を作製した。 このとき、 得られた樹脂組成物ペレットを射出成形機に 供給しつつ、 一方で同成形機の金型には、 あらかじめ作製した胴部となる筒状チ ュ一ブを供給した。
ここで、 射出成形機としては 35ππηφインラインスクリュ一タイプ射出成形 機を使用し、 シリンダー温度 240°C、 ノズル温度 235°Cの条件で口頭部を成 形した。 また得られたチューブ状容器は、 外径 35mmci)、 口頭部絞り出し口の 外径 12mm<i)、 内径 7mmc/)、 口頭部の肉厚は 2 mmであった。 筒状チューブ は、 低密度ポリエチレン (LDPE、 三井石油化学、 ウルトゼックス 3520 L 、 厚み 150 M) 接着性樹脂 (三井石油化学、 アドマー NF 500、 厚み 20 n) /EVOH (B— 1、 厚み 20 /x) /接着性樹脂 (三井石油化学、 アドマー NF 500、 厚み 20 ) ZLDPE (三井石油化学、 ウルトゼックス 3520 L、 厚み 150 の構成で、 環状ダイを用いて共押出法にて作成したものであ る。
得られた口頭部を電子顕微鏡で観察することにより、 HDPE (D— 1) がマ トリックス相、 EVOH (A— 3) が分散相であることを確認した。
こうして得られたチューブ状容器を用いて、 以下の方法で保存性、 熱接着性、 口頭部の強度、 口頭部の外観を評価した。 また、 口頭部自身のバリア性を測定す るために、 口頭部用樹脂ペレットを製膜し、 フィルムの酸素透過係数 (OTR) を測定した。 評価結果を表 5に示す。
(1) 酸素透過係数 (〇TR)
樹脂組成物を Tダイ法により 235 °Cにて溶融押出して、 厚み 100 のフィ ルムを製膜後、 モダン ·コントロール社製の〇x— -T r a n 100型酸素透過率 測定装置を用いて、 20 一 65 %RHの条件下で酸素透過係数を測定した。 (2) 保存性
成形したチューブ状容器の底部開口部より味噌を充填し、 チューブ底部を熱接 着にてシールした。 ついで、 アルミ箔 (厚さ 25 /i) を押出口部のみに装着後、 キャップ締めした。 かかる味噌が充填されたチューブ状容器を、 40 ー50% RHの恒温高湿槽に放置し、 24時間後にチューブ状容器を取り出し、 チューブ 状容器の口頭部内面に接触していた味噌の変色状態を目視にて観察し、 以下の A 〜Dの基準で評価した。
A:変色なし。
B:淡い茶色に変色。
C:茶色に変色。
D:赤褐色に変色。
(3) 熱接着性
チューブ胴部を 15 mm幅で縦方向に 2力所、 それぞれが対向するように口頭 部との熱接着部分まで切り、 前記胴部切開部分の各端部を引張試験に取り付け、 J I SK7127に基づき、 20 — 65%RHの条件下で、 熱接着部の剥離強 度を測定した。
A: 3. O k g以上 B : 2. 5〜3. O kg
C : 2. 0〜2. 5 kg
D: 2. 0 kg以下
(4) 口頭部の強度
20°C— 65%RHの条件下で、 チューブ状容器のキャップ開閉を 30回繰り 返し、 口頭部ねじ部分の欠け、 割れなどの破壊状況、 口頭部のクラック発生状況 を目視およびルーペで観察し、 以下の A〜Dの基準で評価した。 但し、 キャップ 締めはトルクメーターを使用し、 5 kg ' cmの卜ルクで実施した。
A: クラック、 欠け、 割れの発生なし。
B:微少なクラックの発生をルーペで確認。
C:微少なクラックの発生を目視で確認。
D:微少な欠け、 割れの発生を目視で確認。
(5) 口頭部の外観
口頭部の外観 (表面状態、 着色状態、 ゲル ·フィッシュアイの発生状況) を目 視にて評価した。 このとき、 射出成形を開始して直後の成形品と成形を開始して から 24時間経過後の成形品を以下の A〜Dの基準で評価した。
A: 異常なし。
B: 微少なゲル、 フィッシュアイ、 あるいは表面荒れが発生した。
C: 明確なゲル、 フィッシュアイ、 あるいは表面荒れが部分的に発生した。 D: 明確なゲル、 フィッシュアイ、 あるいは表面荒れが全面に発生し、 口頭 部の色が淡黄色に変色した。
図 1は、 実施例に係るチューブ状容器を示し、 筒状胴部 1の上部に雄ねじ 2 a を有し、 下部に肩部 2 bを有する口頭部 2が口頭部肩部 3で熱接着されて、 胴部 1の底部熱接合部 4が熱シールされている。 図 2は筒状胴部 1の搆成を示し、 内 層側から、 熱シール層 (LDPE) 5、 接着性樹脂 6、 バリア性樹脂 EVOH7 、 接着性樹脂 8および外層 (LDPE) 9がこの順序で積層されている。 実施例 1一 2〜 1— 8および比較例 1一;!〜 1一 8

<塗装性に関する実施例 >
実施例 2— 1
表 1〜4に示す樹脂を用い、 EVOH (A— 1) 10重量部、 ポリアミド (B - 1) 1重量部、 アイオノマー (C— 2) 2重量部およびポリプロピレン (D— 3) 87重量部からなるブレンド物を以下の方法で得た。 すなわち、 まずポリア ミド (B— 1) とアイオノマ一 (C— 2) を二軸スクリュータイプのベント式押 出機に入れ、 窒素の存在下 220°Cで押出しペレット化を行い、 得られたプレン ドペレット、 EVOH (A— 1) およびポリプロピレン (D— 3) を再度同様の 方法でブレンドし目的の樹脂組成物べレットを得た。
得られたペレットを日精樹脂工業製の射出成形機 FS 8 O Sを用いて 220 で、 各種強度測定用試験片と塗装試験用資料片を作製した。 ここで、 射出成形 品を電子顕微鏡で観察することにより、 ポリプロピレン (D— 3) がマトリック ス層、 EVOH (A— 1) が分散層であることを確認した。 得られた試験片を用 いて、 以下の方法で各種性能評価を行った。 評価結果を表 6に示す。
(1) 引張強度 (kgZcm2)
ASTM D 638に従い、 室温で測定した。
(2) 破断伸度 (%)
AS TM D 638に従い、 室温で測定した。
(3) 曲げ強度 (kgZcm2)
ASTM D 790に従い、 室温で測定した。
( 4 ) 衝撃強度 (kg · cm/ cm)
ASTM D 256に従い、 3. 2 mm厚みの資料片を用いて、 ノッチ付きにて 20 - 65 %RHの条件下で測定した。
(5) 塗装試験
イソプロピルアルコールを含ませたガーゼで試験片を拭き、 プライマーなしの 条件下、 ウレタン系塗料を塗布し、 80でで 30分間焼き付けることにより塗装 膜を形成した。 得られた塗装膜形成体を 2 3 一 6 5 % R Hの条件下に 2 4時間 以上放置した後、 J I S D O 2 0 2 4 . 1 5に準拠して、碁盤目剥離試験により 密着強度 (一次密着強度) を測定した。 また、 4 0での温水に 2 4 0時間浸漬し た後の塗膜についても、 同様に密着強度 (二次密着強度) を評価した。 評価のラ ンクは、 以下の膜面状態に準じて行った。
A:表面光沢が良好で、 かつ剥離を全く生じない。
B :剥離は全く生じないが、 表面光沢が僅かに低下した。
C :剥離は全く生じないが, 表面光沢がかなり低下した。
D:剥離が生じた。
( 6 ) 成形品外観
射出成形を開始した直後の成形品と、 2 4時間経過後の成形品の外観 (表面状 態、 ゲル 'フィッシュアイの発生状況) を目視にて以下に示す A〜Cの基準で評 価した。
A: 異常なし。
B : 微少なゲル、 フィッシュアイ、 あるいは表面荒れが発生した。
C : 明確なゲル、 フィッシュアイ、 あるいは表面荒れが部分的に発生した。 実施例 2— 2〜 2 - 4および比較例 2— 1〜 2— 6
実施例 2— 1で作成した 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレツ卜の代わりに、 表 6 に記載の樹脂組成のペレツ卜が得られるように、 樹脂種類および配合比率を変更 した他は実施例 2— 1と同様にして資料片を作製して評価を行った。 なお樹脂組 成物が 2成分または 3成分からなる場合には 1回の混練操作でブレンドを行い、 1成分からなる場合には混練操作は行わなかった。 評価結果を表 6にまとめて示 す。
実施例 2— 5
実施例 2一 1と同一組成で、 4種の樹脂成分の混練を 1回の混練操作のみで行 つてペレツト化した以外は、 実施例 2— 1と同様の条件で資料片を作製して評価 を行った。 評価結果を表 6に示す。

ぐスクラップ回収性に関する実施例 >
実施例 3— 1
下記実施例中使用した樹脂は、 表 1〜4に示すものである。
まず、 EVOH (A- 2) 層の両側にポリプロピレン (PP ; D_4) 層を有す る 3層の共押出シート (560 AtmZl 00 zim/560 z/m) を成形し、 得ら れたシートを粉砕してスクラップ { (A— 2) : (D— 4) = 10重量部: 86 重量部 } を得た。
一方、 ポリアミド (B— l) 1重量部とアイオスマー (C一 2) 3重量部を二 軸スクリユータイプ、 ベン卜式押出機に入れ、 窒素の存在下、 220°Cで押出し ペレット化を行った。
続いて、 EVOH (A- 2) とポリプロピレン (D— 4) からなる上記スクラ ップ 9 6重量部と、 ポリアミド (B— 1 ) とアイオノマー (C— 2) からなる上 記樹脂組成物ペレツト 4重量部を配合して、 フルフライトタイプの一軸押出機で ペレツ卜化した。
以上の操作により、 EVOH (A- 2) 10重量部、 ポリアミド (B— l) 1 重量部、 アイオノマー (C— 2) 3重量部およびポリプロピレン (D— 4) 8 6 重量部の 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレット (以下 RE Gと略すことがある) を 得た。
得られた 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレット、 EVOH (A- 2) 、 ポリプロ ピレン (D— 4) および接着性樹脂 (無水マレイン酸変性ポリプロピレン) を別 々の押出機に入れ、 4種 7層の共押出設備を用いて、 PPZREGZ接着性樹脂 ZEVOH/接着性樹脂ZREGZP P (300/ 1 50/25/50/25/ 150/300 ^) の構成になるように共押出して 7層シート (全層厚み: 10 00 ) を作製した。 押出成形は、 PPがー軸スクリユー (65ππηφ) を用い て 240 の温度で、 REGがー軸スクリュー (40mm( を用いて 220°C の温度で、 接着性樹脂が一軸スクリュー (4 0ΙΏΙΏΦ) を用いて 2 2 0°Cの温度 で、 EVOHがー軸スクリユー (40mmd)) を用いて 2 10での温度でそれぞ れ押し出すことによって行った。 得られたシートは、 成形開始後 24時間後およ び 72時間後でも良好な外観を保ち、 REG層内の相溶性不良による流動異常に よるシートのデラミネ一シヨン、 波模様の発生も無かった。 ここで、 得られたシ 一卜の REG層を電子顕微鏡で観察することにより、 ポリプロピレン (D— 4) がマトリックス層、 EVOH (A—2) が分散層であることを確認した。
こうして得られた 24時間後および 72時間後のシートを熱成形機 (浅野製作 所製) を用いて、 カップ形状 (金型形状 70 φ X 7— 0 mm) に熱成形 (圧空: 5 k gZcm2、 プラグ: 45 φ X 65mm、 シンタックスフォーム、 シート温度 : 1 50°C、 プラグ温度: 20で、 金型温度: 70で) を行った。 成形された力 ップの外観は目視にて評価した。 得られたカップは、 シートと同様にブレンドべ レツト内の相溶性不良に起因するシー卜のデラミネーシヨン、 波模様の発生も無 かった。
シ一卜外観あるいはカップ外観の評価については、 次の基準により判定した。 A:波模様、 デラミネ一シヨンのない均一かつ良好な膜面。
B :デラミネーシヨンのない均一かつ良好な膜面であるが、 一部に僅かな波模 様有り。
C :はっきりとした波模様およびデラミネーシヨンが全面に発生。
D :はっきりとした波模様、 デラミネーシヨン及びゲル ·フィッシュアイが全 面に発生した。
評価結果を表 7に示す。
実施例 3— 2〜 3— 5および比較例 3 - 1〜 3— 6
実施例 3— 1で作成した 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレツトの代わりに、 表 7 に記載の樹脂組成のペレツ卜が得られるように、 樹脂種類および配合比率を変更 した他は実施例 3— 1と同様にして樹脂組成物を得た。 このとき樹脂組成物が 2 成分または 3成分からなる場合には 1回の混練操作でブレンドを行った。 得られた樹脂組成物を用いた他は実施例 3— 1と同様にして、 樹脂組成物層以 外は実施例 3— 1と同じ構成の 7層シートを作成し、 熱成形してカップを成形し た。 評価結果を表 7にまとめて示す。
実施例 3— 6
実施例 3— 1で使用したポリアミド (B— 1 ) とアイオノマー (C一 2 ) のブ レンド物 (ブレンド比: 2 5 7 5重量部) 4重量部の代わりに、 そのブレンド 物 4重量部にステアリン酸カルシウム (日本油脂製) 1重量部をドライブレンド したものを使用した以外は、 実施例 3— 1と同様にして樹脂組成物を得た。 得られた樹脂組成物を用いた他は実施例 3— 1と同様にして、 樹脂組成物層以 外は実施例 3— 1と同じ構成の 7層シートを作成し、 熱成形してカップを成形し た。 評価結果を表 7に示す。
実施例 3— 7
実施例 3— 6で使用したステアリン酸カルシウムの代わりにハイドロタルサイ ト (D H T— 4 A、 協和化学製) を使用した以外は、 実施例 3— 1と同様にして 樹脂組成物を得た。
得られた樹脂組成物を用いた他は実施例 3— 1と同様にして、 樹脂組成物層以 外は実施例 3— 1と同じ構成の 7層シートを作成し、 熱成形してカップを成形し た。 評価結果を表 7に示す。
実施例 3— 8
実施例 3— 1と同一組成で、 ポリアミド (B— 1 ) とアイオノマー (C—2 ) を前もって混練せずに、 4種の樹脂成分の混練を 1回の混練操作のみで行ってぺ レツ卜化した以外は、 実施例 3— 1と同様にして樹脂組成物を得た。
得られた樹脂組成物を用いた他は実施例 3— 1と同様にして、 樹脂組成物層以 外は実施例 3— 1と同じ構成の 7層シートを作成し、 熱成形してカップを成形し た。 評価結果を表 7に示す。
実施例 3 - 9 実施例 3— 1において、 ポリプロピレン (D— 4) を用いる代わりにポリスチ レン (PS ; D— 5) を用いて、 EVOH (A— 2) 層の両側にポリスチレン ( D- 5) 層を有する 3層の共押出シート (490 100 490 を作成し 、 これから得られたスクラップを用いた以外は実施例 3— 1と同様にして 4成分 からなる樹脂組成物 (REG) を得た。
得られた 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレット、 EVOH (A— 2) 、 ポリスチ レン (D— 5) および接着性樹脂 (無水マレイン酸変性エチレン一酢酸ビニル共 重合体) を別々の押出機に入れ、 4種 7層の共押出設備を用いて、 P S/REG Z接着性樹脂 ZEVOHZ接着性樹脂/ REGZPS (300/1 50/25/ 50/25/1 50/300 ) の構成になるように共押出して 7層シート (全 層厚み: 1000 ) を作製した。 押出成形は、 P Sがー軸スクリユー (65m πι ) を用いて 240 の温度で、 REGがー軸スクリュー (40πΐΓηφ) を用 いて 220での温度で、 接着性樹脂が一軸スクリュー (40ππηφ) を用いて 2 20での温度で、 EVOHが一軸スクリュー (40πιιηφ) を用いて 2 1 O :の 温度でそれぞれ押し出すことによって行った。
こうして得られた 24時間後および 72時間後のシートを熱成形機 (浅野製作 所製) を用いて、 カップ形状 (金型形状 70 Φ X 70 mm) に熱成形 (圧空: 5 kg/cm2, プラグ: 45 Φ X 6 5mm、 シンタックスフォーム、 シート温度 : 130°C、 プラグ温度: 20で、 金型温度: 70 ) を行った。
評価結果を表 8に示す。
実施例 3— 10〜 3— 12および比較例 3— 6〜 3— 9
実施例 3— 9で作成した 4成分からなる樹脂組成物べレットの代わりに、 表 8 に記載の樹脂組成のペレツトが得られるように、 樹脂種類および配合比率を変更 した他は実施例 3— 9と同様にして樹脂組成物を得た。 このとき樹脂組成物が 2 成分または 3成分からなる場合には 1回の混練操作でブレンドを行った。
得られた樹脂組成物を用いた他は実施例 3— 9と同様にして、 樹脂組成物層以 外は実施例 3— 9と同じ構成の 7層シートを作成し、 熱成形して力ップを成形し た。 評価結果を表 8にまとめて示す。
比較例 3— 1 0
実施例 3— 1において、 ポリプロピレン (D— 4) を用いる代わりにポリェチ レンテレフ夕レート (PET ; D— 7) を用いて、 EVOH (A- 2) 層の両側 にポリエチレンテレフ夕レート (D— 7) 層を有する 3層の共押出シート (3 7 0/ 1 0 073 7 0 ) を作成し、 これから得られたスクラップを用いた以外は 実施例 3— 1と同様にして 4成分からなる樹脂組成物 (REG) を得た。
得られた 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレット、 EVOH (A- 2) 、 ポリェチ レンテレフ夕レート (D— 7) および接着性樹脂 (無水マレイン酸変性エチレン 一酢酸ビニル共重合体) を別々の押出機に入れ、 4種 7層の共押出設備を用いて 、 PETZREGZ接着性樹脂 /EVOH/接着性樹脂 ZREGZPET (3 0 0/ 1 5 0/2 5/5 0/2 5/ 1 5 0/3 0 0 /i) の構成になるように共押出 して 7層シート (全層厚み: 1 0 0 0 ) を作製した。 押出成形は、 PETがー 軸スクリュー (6 5mmci)) を用いて 2 7 0 °Cの温度で、 REGがー軸スクリュ 一 (4 Omrnci)) を用いて 22 の温度で、 接着性樹脂が一軸スクリユー (4 0mm(i)) を用いて 2 7 O :の温度で、 EVOHがー軸スクリュー (40πιιηφ ) を用いて 2 1 0 の温度でそれぞれ押し出すことによって行った。
こうして得られた 24時間後および 7 2時間後のシートを熱成形機 (浅野製作 所製) を用いて、 カップ形状 (金型形状 7 0 Φ X 7 0mm) に熱成形 (圧空: 5 k g/ cm プラグ: 45 Φ x 6 5mm、 シンタックスフォーム、 シート温度 : 1 1 0 :、 プラグ温度: 20 :、 金型温度: 7 0で) を行った。
評価結果を表 8に示す。

ぐ柔軟性フィルムに関する実施例 >
実施例 4 - 1
表 1〜4に示す樹脂を用い、 EVOH (A- 2) 90重量部、 ポリアミド (B — 1) 1重量部、 アイオノマ一 (C— 2) 1重量部および超低密度ポリエチレン (D— 6) 8重量部からなるブレンド物を以下の方法で得た。 すなわち、 まずポ リアミド (B— 1) とアイオノマ一 (C— 2) を二軸スクリュータイプのベント 式押出機に入れ、 窒素の存在下 22 で押出しペレット化を行い、 得られたブ レンドペレット、 EVOH (A- 2) および超低密度ポリエチレン (D— 6) を 再度同様の方法でブレンドし目的の樹脂組成物ペレツトを得た。
得られたペレットを用い、 4 θΓηπιφ、 L/D= 24, 圧縮比 3. 5のフルフ ライトタイプのスクリユーを有する押出機で、 幅 550mmのフラットダイを使 用して厚さ 25 の単層フィルムを製膜した。 ここで、 得られたフィルムを電子 顕微鏡で観察することにより、 EVOH (A— 2) がマトリックス層、 超低密度 ポリエチレン (D— 6) が分散層であることを確認した。得られたフィルムのへ ィズ、 耐屈曲性、 ヤング率、 フィルムインパクト、 酸素透過量 (OTR) 、 およ びゲル · フィッシュアイの発生状況を下記の方法で評価した。 評価結果は表 9に 示す。
(1) ヘイズ
日本精密光学 (株) ポイツク積分球式光線透過率計を用いて、 厚さ 25 のフ イルムを測定した。
(2) 耐屈曲性
理学工業 (株) 製のゲルボフレックステスターを用い、 12インチ X 8インチ のフィルムを直径 3. 5インチの円筒状となし、 両端を把持し、 初期把持間隔 7 インチ、 最大屈曲時の把持間隔 1インチ、 ストロークの最初の 3. 5インチで 4 40度の角度のひねりを加え、 その後 2. 5インチは直進水平運動である動作の 繰り返し往復運動を 40回ノ分の早さで 20°C— 65 %RHの条件下、 100回 繰り返した後のフィルムのピンホール数を測定した。
また、 同様の屈曲試験を行って、 最初のピンホールが発生するまでの屈曲回数 についても測定した。
(3) ヤング率
ASTM D-882-67に準じて 20°C— 65 % RHの条件下で測定した。
(4) フィルムィンパクト
水平に張った一定面積の円形フィルムの中央に、 先端に取り付けた 0. 6インチ の半球を突き立て、 フィルムが破裂した時の力を読みとる。 フィルムサンプルは 、 20 一 65 %RHの条件下で 2週間調湿した後に測定した。 (使用機器:東 洋精機 (株) フィルムインパクトテスター)
(5) 酸素透過量 (OTR)
Mod e r n Con t r o l社の OX— T r a η 10— 50 Αを使用し、 20 °C- 65 %RHの条件下で行った。
(6) ゲル · フイツシュアイ発生状況
24時間製膜後のフィルムの外観を目視で観察し、 下記の A〜Dの基準に従つ て評価した。
A:ゲル · フィッシュアイが発生しなかった。
B :微少なゲル ·フィッシュアイが発生した。
C :微少なゲル ·フィッシュアイが部分的に発生した。
D:微少なゲル ·フイツシュアィが全面に発生した。
実施例 4一 2〜 4一 6および比較例 4一 1〜 4一 9
実施例 4一 1で作成した 4成分からなる樹脂組成物ペレツ卜の代わりに、 表 9 に記載の樹脂組成のペレツ卜が得られるように、 樹脂種類および配合比率を変更 した他は実施例 4一 1と同様にして単層フィルムを製膜し、 評価した。 なお樹脂 組成物が 2成分または 3成分からなる場合には 1回の混練操作でブレンドを行い 、 1成分からなる場合には混練操作は行わなかった。 評価結果を表 9にまとめて 示す。
実施例 4— 7
実施例 4一 1と同一組成で、 4種の樹脂成分の混練を 1回の混練操作のみで行 つてペレツト化した以外は、 実施例 4一 1と同様にして単層フィルムを製膜し、 評価した。 評価結果を表 9に示す。

エチレン含有量 44モル%、 けん化度 99. 4モル%、 メルトインデックス 5. 1 10分 (190 :、 荷重 2160 g条件下) の EVOHペレツト 85重量 %、 メルトインデックス 1. O g/10分 (190 :、 荷重 2160 g条件下) の高密度ポリエチレン樹脂 10重量%、 ポリアミド樹脂 (PA— 6 :東レ製アミ ラン CN 1010T) 2重量%、 エチレン一メ夕クリル酸共重合体 {メタクリル 酸含有率 3. 1モル%、 メルトインデックス 1. S^gZ 10分 ( 190で、 荷重 2160 g条件下) } 3重量%を 2軸押出機でブレンド、 ペレット化した後に、 Tダイを付けた単軸押出機で製膜し、 20 imのフィルムを得た。 このフィルム の光沢度は 35%であった。 また得られたフィルムを電子顕微鏡で観察すること により、 EVOHがマトリックス層、高密度ポリエチレンが分散層であることを 確認した。
ゲル .フィッシュアイの発生状況については、 8時間製膜後のフィルムの外観 を目視で観察し、 下記の A〜Dの基準に従って評価した。
A:ゲル · フィッシュアイが発生しなかった。
B :微少なゲル ·フイツシュアィが発生した。
C:微少なゲル ·フィッシュアイが部分的に発生した。
D:微少なゲル ·フィッシュアイが全面に発生した。
実施例 5 - 2 ~ 5 - 9、 比較例 5—;!〜 5— 7
実施例 5— 1の配合樹脂および配合量を変えたフィルムを実施例 5 _ 1と同様 の方法で作成、 光沢度を測定し、 外観を観察した。 各実施例の配合樹脂、 配合量 、 および測定結果を表 10に示す。

エチレン—メタクリル酸ランダム共重合体の金属塩 (アイオノマ一) {メ夕ク リル酸含有量 5. 3モル%、 中和度 60%、 カウンタ一^ Γオン種 Zn、 メルトイ ンデックス 0. 7 gZl O分 (190で、 2160 g荷重) }
• c - 3
エチレンーメタクリル酸ランダム共重合体の金属塩 (アイオノマー) (メタク リル酸含有量 6. 7モル%、 中和度 36%、 カウンタ一^ Γオン種 Na、 メルトイ ンデックス 2. 1 10分 (190 、 2160 g荷重) }
熱可塑性樹脂 (D) は以下のものを用いた。

高密度ポリエチレン {メルトインデックス 1. 0 gZl 0分 (190°C、 21 60 g荷重) } • d- 2
低密度ポリエチレン {メルトインデックス 2. 5 gZl 0分 (190で、 21 60 g荷重) }

無水マレイン酸変性高密度ポリエチレン {変性量 0. 09モル%、 メルトイン デックス 1. 0 g/10分 (190°C、 2160 g荷重) }

ポリ塩化ビニル壁紙のモデルとして、 ポリ塩化ビニル (P= 1400) 100 重量部、 ジォクチルフタレート 45重量部、 トリクレジルホスフェート 5重量部 、 エポキシ系樹脂安定剤 (商品名 EP— 828) 1重量部、 バリウム—亜鉛複合 液状安定剤 1重量部、 ステアリン酸バリウム 0. 2重量部、 ステアリン酸亜鉛 0 . 4重量部、 ソルビ夕ンモノステアレート 1. 5重量部をスーパーミキサーで 1 0分攪拌混合した後、 165でに加温したミキシングロール上で混練し、 0. 1 mm厚さのポリ塩化ビニル系フィルムを作成した。 -これにウレタン系接着剤 A D —335 Aと硬化剤 c a t - 10 (東洋モートン社製、 混合比 17 : 1) を用い て実施例 5— 1で作成した E V O H組成物フィルムをラミネートし、 耐汚染性、 耐ブリード性、 光沢を評価した。 評価結果を表 1 1に示す。
なお、 耐汚染性の評価は、 水性ペン (サクラ製サインペン) 、 油性ペン (ゼブ ラ製マッキー極細) 、 口紅 (資生堂製レシェンテルージュエクセレント RD 52 4) 、 クレヨン (サクラ製クレヨン太巻き赤) の各筆記材料を用いて線を記入し 、 中性洗剤 (ライオン製ママレモン) および油性ペンについては家庭用シンナー を用いてふき取った後に残る変色の程度を J I Sグレースケールにより評価した 。 また、 耐ブリード性については、 70°Cの条件下でラミネートフィルム面が重 なるように 2枚を重ね、 100 g/ cmの荷重をかけて 24時間放置し、 フィル ム表面の状態を目視観察した。
比較例 5— 8
実施例 5— 10において EVOH組成物フィルムをラミネートしていないポリ 塩化ビニル系フィルムについて実施例 5— 10と同様に評価を行った。 評価結果 を表 1 1に示す。 " ]

実施例および比較例を比較すると、 本発明のフィルムの光沢が著しく低下して いることが明らかである。 また実施例 5— 1 0および比較例 5— 8より本発明の フィルムのラミネートにより基材の耐汚染性、 耐ブリ一ド性が著しく向上するこ とも分かる。 産業上の利用可能性
本発明により、 相溶性に優れたエチレン一ビニルアルコール共重合体 (A) 、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B ) 、 エチレン—不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはそ の金属塩 (C ) および 1 1以下の溶解性パラメーター (F e d o r sの式から算 出) を有する前記樹脂以外の熱可塑性樹脂 (D ) からなる樹脂組成物が提供され る。 かかる樹脂組成物はバリア性、 機械強度、 柔軟性、 延伸性、 溶融安定性、 ス クラップ回収性、 熱接着性、 塗装性、 耐汚染性、 透明性等に優れており、 各種用 途に有用である。

Claims

請求の範囲
1. エチレン—ビニルアルコール共重合体 (A) 、 ポリアミド樹脂 (B) 、 ェチ レン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体またはその金属塩 (C) 、 および 1 1 以下の溶解性パラメーター (F e d o r sの式から算出) を有する前記樹脂以外 の熱可塑性樹脂 (D) からなり ;
配合重量比が下記式 (1) ~ (4) を満足する樹脂組成物。
0. 6≤W (A + D) ZW (T) ≤ 0. 9 9 5 - ( 1)
0. 0 0 5≤W (B + C) ZW (T) ≤ 0. 4 (2)
0. 0 1≤W (A) /W (A + D) ≤ 0. 9 9 (3)
0. 0 2≤W (B) /W (B + C) ≤ . 98 (4)
(但し、 W (A) 組成物中の (A) の重量
W (B) 組成物中の (B) の重量
W (C) 組成物中の (C) の重量
W (D) 組成物中の (D) の重量
W (T) 組成物の合計重量)
2. 樹脂組成物の合計重量に対して、 高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩およびハイ ドロタルサイト化合物から選ばれる少なくとも 1種を 0. 0 1〜 3重量部含む請 求項 1記載の樹脂組成物。
3. 配合重量比 W (B) /W (B + C) 力 0. 5以下である請求項 1または 2に 記載の樹脂組成物。
4. 熱可塑性樹脂 (D) がマトリックス相、 エチレン—ビニルアルコール共重合 体 (A) が分散相となる請求項 1〜3のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物。
5. エチレン一ビニルアルコール共重合体 (A) がマトリックス相、 熱可塑性樹 脂 (D) が分散相となる請求項 1〜3のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物。
6. 熱可塑性樹脂 (D〉 の 2 0°Cにおける弾性モジュラスが 5 0 0 k g/cm2 以下である請求項 5記載の樹脂組成物。
7. ポリアミド樹脂 (B) およびエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合体 またはその金属塩 (C) を先に溶融混合してから、 エチレン一ビニルアルコール 共重合体 (A) および熱可塑性樹脂 (D) と溶融混合する、 請求項 1〜6のいず れかに記載の樹脂組成物の製法。
8. 請求項 1〜6のいずれかに記載の樹脂組成物からなる層を少なくとも 1層含 む多層構造体。
9. 請求項 4記載の樹脂組成物からなるチューブ状容器の口頭部。
10. 請求項 4記載の樹脂組成物からなり、 その表面に塗料が塗布されてなる成 形品。
11. 請求項 4記載の樹脂組成物からなる層を有する熱成形容器。
12. 請求項 5または 6に記載の樹脂組成物からなるフレキシブルフィルム。
13. 請求項 5記載の樹脂組成物からなり、 少なくとも片面の表面光沢度が 60 %以下である艷消しフィルム。
14. ポリアミド樹脂 (B) およびエチレン一不飽和カルボン酸ランダム共重合 体またはその金属塩 (C) を相溶化剤として使用し、 エチレン一ビニルアルコー ル共重合体 (A) および 1 1以下の溶解性パラメーター (F e do r sの式から 算出) を有する前記樹脂以外の熱可塑性樹脂 (D) を主成分とする成形物のスク ラップを回収するスクラップ回収法。
15. 相溶化剤に高級脂肪族カルボン酸の金属塩およびハイドロタルサイト化合 物の少なくとも 1種を含有する請求項 14記載のスクラップ回収法。
16. 請求項 14または 15に記載の回収法によって得た樹脂組成物からなるス クラップ回収層を少なくとも 1層含む多層構造体。
