Abstract

Selon l'invention, des composants électroniques sur un substrat peuvent être blindés à l'aide de structures de blindage électromagnétique. Les matières isolantes peuvent être utilisées pour fournir un support structurel et aider à empêcher un court-circuit électrique entre des matières conductrices et les composants. Les structures de blindage peuvent comprendre des compartiments formés à l'aide de barrières métalliques qui entourent les composants choisis ou par moulage par injection de matière plastique. Les structures de blindage peuvent être formées à l'aide d'une feuille métallique enveloppée sur les composants et le substrat. Les composants électroniques peuvent être analysés à l'aide de postes ou traces d'essai pour identifier des composants qui sont défectueux. Les postes ou traces d'essai peuvent être déposés sur le substrat et peuvent être utilisés pour conduire des signaux d'essai entre un équipement d'essai et les composants. Après un essai réussi, les postes d'essai peuvent être blindés de façon permanente. En variante, les structures de blindage temporaire peuvent être utilisées pour permettre un essai de composants individuels avant qu'un dispositif électronique ne soit totalement assemblé.
