Abstract
Se describen miembros microproyección (fig.10) que tienen un reservorio que contiene un agente antigénico y métodos de uso de dichos miembros para vacunar mamíferos (por ejemplo seres humanos). Los miembros de microproyección se usan para liberar trnasdérmicamente un agente antigénico (por ejemplo un antígeno de vacuna) con reacciones de la piel sustancialmente reducidas. Esto se logra administrando una cantidad inductora y liberando a continuación una o más cantidades subsiguientes de refuerzo. La cantidad inductora es relativamente mayor que la cantidad de refuerzo. Esta tecnología tiene una amplia aplicabilidad para una amplia variedad de vacunas para mejorar la eficacia y conveniencia de uso.
