   APPAREIL A   DECOUPER     Système "J.T."   
Les machines auxquelles le principe "J.T." s'applique se composent d'un bâti   A,   sur lequel on place la matière à découper, et d'un couteau mobile C, monté sur un porte-couteau B, fixé par une de ses extrémités au bâti A au moyen d'un axe G autour duquel il pivote, tandis que 1¯'opérateur actionne l'autre extrémité. 



   La figure I   représente   la machine (partie intéressés) avec son porte-couteau B ; le trait plein indiquant la position abaissée, le couteau mobile 0 à fond de course vers   l'avant;   le trait interrompu, la position..relevée, le couteau, mobile C . à fond de course vers l'arrière. '
Ua figure II représente le Levier de commande D et le   @   couteau-mobile C; le trait plein indiquant la positionnabaissée; le trait   interrompue, la   position relevée. 



   Sous   l'action.d'un   Levier de commande D pivetant d'une part autour d'un axe E, fixé au bâti A, et relié d'autre part à un tenon I du couteau, mobile 0 au moyen -d'une   boutonnière,   le couteau mobile 0 se déplace vers l'avant ou vers   l'arrière,   le long du porte-couteau B, suivant les mnuvements d'abaissement au de relèvement de ce dernier, grâce au tenon F du porte-couteau B s'engageant dans la boutonnière aménagée dans le corps du Levier de commande D.
