Abstract

"RESINA DE TROCA IÈNICA, USO DA RESINA, PROCESSO PARA HIDROEXTRAIR METAIS NãO FERROSOS DE UM LìQUIDO E ELUATO". Um processo é fornecido para a recuperação direta de metais não ferrosos (níquel, cobalto, cobre, etc.,) de matérias-primas tais como minérios, concentrados, semiprodutos e/ou soluções por troca iónica. Um minério ou concentrado não ferroso é lixiviado com um ácido mineral para dissolver os metais. O pH da suspensão da lixiviação resultante é ajustado para 1,0 a 5,0 usando alguns agentes alcalinos como pedra calcária, hidróxido de sódio, etc. Metais não ferrosos são absorvidos dessa suspensão de lixiviação com resina de troca iónica, a qual seletivamente carrega os metais não ferrosos e tem a estrutura: em que a relação de N : M : P : R está dentro das faixas de 3 a 4 : 64 a 70 : 25 a 30 : 2 a 2,5. A resina carregada é separada da suspensão de lixiviação usada. O sorvente carregado é extraído com uma solução de carbono de amênio-amónia ou ácida. A resina extraída é retornada para o ciclo de carregamento. O metal não ferroso pode ser recuperado em substanciamente puro do eluato por alguns processos conhecidos. A suspensão livre de metal ocorre para tratamento de resíduo e eliminação.
