Abstract
"PROCESSO E INSTALAçãO DE RESFRIAMENTO DE UMA TIRA METáLICA EM MOVIMENTO". Para resfriar uma tira metálica (2) em movimento contínuo: aplica-se a tira (2) sobre um rolo de resfriamento principal (10) de modo que a tira forme um arco cujo intradorso delimita com a face externa desse rolo uma área de contato adaptada para escoar para dentro do rolo uma parte do calor da tira, - mantém-se a tira (2) em contato com o rolo de resfriamento principal (10) por meio de um rolo (14) de apoio sobre o extradorso da tira, constituído por uma matéria elasticamente deformável e termo-capacitiva, e - escoa-se o calor transmitido da tira (2) ao rolo de apoio (14) através de meios (16) de resfriamento secundário.
