Abstract

"PROCESSO E DISPOSITIVO PARA APLICAR UMA DISTRIBUIçãO AJUSTáVEL DO ESFORçO DE TRAçãO, EM PARTICULAR NAS REGIõES DAS BORDAS DE TIRAS DE METAL LAMINADAS A FRIO". A presente invenção se refere a um processo e a um dispositivo para aplicar uma distribuição ajustável do esforço de tração, em particular nas regiões das bordas, durante a laminação a frio de tiras de metal (16), especialmente as folhas de metal, com a finalidade de reduzir o perigo de se constituir uma tração demasiadamente elevada e fissuras nas bordas da tira, com a conseqüência nefasta de ocorrerem rupturas da tira, que diminuem a produção, bem como de aprimorar a superfície da tira e sua planicidade, inclusive quando forem empregadas velocidades relativamente mais altas de deslocamento da tira, e de reduzir as larguras das tiras a serem recortadas. Para tanto, é empregada pelo menos uma ou, eventualmente, uma combinação de pelo menos duas dentre as seguintes medidas: a) separação da lubrificação e da refrigeração dos cilindros de trabalho ao se praticar a lubrificação do lado da entrada e a refrigeração do lado da saída; b) Influência adicional sobre as bordas da tira através do uso de um 'Hot Edge Spray' (Pulverizador para Bordas Quentes), em particular pela pulverização (21) local de óleo de laminação com faixas de temperaturas diferentes; e c) Uso de uma configuração de esmerilhamento especial dos cilindros de trabalho (12, 12<39>) na região das bordas das tiras, para obter uma estruturação parcial de material durante o avanço, que ocasiona uma borda da tira maior durante os passos seguintes e que se contrapõe ao perigo de se constituir uma tração muito elevada.
