Abstract
PROTEìNAS, PEPTìDEOS E SACARìDEOS ANTICARIOGêNICOS. A presente invenção refere-se às novas proteínas, peptídeos e sacarídeos que possuem capacidade anticariogênica e que são caracterizados pela presença de um ou mais componentes que possuel a capacidade de formar um complexo com íons cálcio: tais como epsilon-polilisina que é conjugada com um ou mais grupos bisfosfonila, biscarboxila ou 3-hidroxiflalato ou conjugados com fosfopeptídeo de caseína, fosvitina ou com fosvitina parcialmente hidrolisada; tais como, quitosano parcialmente hidrolisado que é conjugado com um ou mais grupos bisfosfonila, fosfopeptídeo de caseína ou com fosvitina ou fosvitina parcialmente hidrolisada; tais como proteínas bisfosfoniladas e biscarboxiladas com pelo menos 40% dos aminoácidos consistindo em lisina e um peso molecular acima de 2 KD (2.000 Dálton) e tal como fosfopeptídeo de caseína polimerizado e fosvitina parcialmente hidrolisada. Polímeros especialmente básicos que são conjugados com grupos bisfosfonila, tais como, epsilon-polilisina bifosfonilada são protetores fortes devido a presença simultânea em uma molécula de complexação de cálcio e componentes tampão de ácido forte. Além disso, as polilisinas, tais como epsilon-polilisina demonstraram atividade antibacteriana contra uma grande variedade de bactérias de cavidade oral incluindo bactérias que produzem ácido. Isso indica sua relevância para proteção dos dentes especificamente para o controle da flora bacteriana na cavidade oral em geral. Os produtos podem ser usados em formulações para proteger os dentes e para tratar a cavidade oral: pastas de dentes, géis, colutórios, saliva artificial, para pacientes e consumidores saudáveis. Eles possuem um perfil toxicológico atraente em comparação ao fluoreto e podem ser usados em sistemas alimentícios; eles auxiliam também na ação do fluoreto. O uso em combinação com o fluoreto provê proteção excelente e melhorada em dosagem de fluoreto mínima. A invenção engloba estruturas competentes de proteínas, peptídeo e sacarídeo, com base em experimentos in vitro e in vivo, bem como procedimentos de produção e condições de aplicação.
