Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein neues Kon densationsprodukt entsteht, wenn man ein Gemisch bestehend aus Anilin und a-Naph- thylamin mit Acetylen in Gegenwart von Katalysatoren, wie Quecksilberderivate in Reaktion bringt und das Reaktionsprodukt mit Formaldehyd behandelt. Das neue Pro dukt bildet ein Harz, das mit Säuren wasser lösliche Salze bildet.
Es kann für die man nigfaltigsten Zwecke Verwendung finden, zum Beispiel als alkalibeständiger Lack und Firnis, als Hilfsmittel in der Kautschukindustrie, insbesondere als Katalysator bei der Vulkani- sation oder als Schutzmittel gegen die Alterungserscheinungen und ferner noch für andere Zwecke.
Beispiel <I>1:</I> In ein Gemisch aus 220 Teilen a-Naph- tylamin, 200 Teilen Anilin und 200 Teilen Chlorbenzol wird unter kräftigem Rühren und allmähliger Zugabe von<B>7</B>0 Teilen Hg0ls bei<B>30-500</B> Acetylen eingeleitet, bis die Absorption des Gases praktisch aufhört. Dann lässt man 40-50 Teile 40 /oiger For- maldehydlösung einlaufen und rührt einige Stunden bei 80-100o weiter. Man setzt Natronlauge bis zur deutlich alkalischen Re aktion und weitere 400 Teile Chlorbenzol hinzu und lässt in der Wärme absitzen.
Die nötigenfalls filtrierte Chlorbenzolschicht wird im Vakuum von Wasser; Lösungsmittel und unverändertem Ausgangsmaterial unter Durch leiten von Wasserdampf befreit und getrock net. Man erhält in vorzüglicher Ausbeute ein Harz, das erst beträchtlich über 100 zu sintern anfängt.
<I>Beispiel 2:</I> 120 Teile des nach der ersten Phase des Beispiels 1 gewonnenen Kondensationspro duktes aus a-Naphthylamin und Acetylen werden in 100 Teilen Chlorbenzol gelöst und am Rückflusskühler zwei Stunden mit 30 Teilen einer 40 o/oigen Formaldehydlösung behandelt. Man destilliert nun das Wasser und das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum, eventuell unter Durchleiten von Wasserdampf, ab. Das zurückbleibende Harz ist härter als das Aus gangsmaterial.
Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man ein Gemisch, bestehend aus Anilin und a-Naphthylamin mit Acetylen in Gegenwart von Katalysatoren zur Reak tion bringt und das Reaktionsprodukt mit Formaldehyd behandelt. Das neue Produkt bildet ein Harz, das mit Säuren wasserlös liche Salze bildet.Es kann für die mannig faltigsten Zwecke Verwendung finden, zum Beispiel als alkalibeständiger Lack und Firnis, als Hilfsmittel in der Kautschukindustrie, insbesondere als Katalysator bei der Vulkani- sation oder als Schutzmittel gegen die Alterungserscheinungen und ferner noch für andere Zwecke. <B>UNTERANSPRÜCHE:</B> 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Quecksilberderivat als Katalysator verwendet wird. 2. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Quecksilberchlorid als Katalysator verwendet wird.
