Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Gemisches isomerer Octahydrofollikelhormonacetate. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Gemisches isomerer Octahydrof ollikelhormonacetate, wel ches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, .dass man Follikelhormonacetat vom F. P. 126 C mit katalytisch erregtem Wasserstoff behandelt.
Das neue Produkt ist eine harzige Masse, die als Heilmittel Verwendung finden soll. Als Katalysatoren für die Hydrierung können ausser Edelmetallkatalysatoren, wie z. B. Platin-Schwarz oder kolloidales Platin, auch Schwermetallkatalysatoren, insbeson dere Nickel mit Zusätzen von Kupfer, Man gan, Chrom etc., verwendet werden. Je nachdem die Reaktion unter gewöhnlichem oder erhöhtem Druck ausgeführt wird, ver wendet man geeignete Lösungsmittel, z. B.
Eisessig, Äthanol, Cycloheganol ete.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 1 g Follikelhormonacetat vom Schmelz punkt 126 wird in 100 cm' 96 % igem Äthanol gelöst und die Lösung mit 1 g eines vor reduzierten, Nickel-Chrom-Katalysators bei 100 Atm. Wasserstoffdruck in einem Rühr- autoklaven auf<B>180'</B> erhitzt. Nach beende ter Wasserstoffaufnahme wird der Kataly sator durch Filtration von der Reaktions lösung abgetrennt und diese im Vakuum zur Trockne abgedampft.
Der verbleibende Rückstand ist von harziger Konsistenz und von dem männlichen Keimdrüsenhormon ähnlicher Wirkung im Hahnenkammtest.

- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Ge misches isomerer Octahy'drofollikelhormon- acetate, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Follikelhormonacetat vom F. P. 126 C mit katalytisch erregtem Wasserstoff behandelt. Das neue Produkt ist eine harzige Masse.
