Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gemisches von Alkylphenogyessigsäuren. Das Hauptpatent betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Isooctylphenoxyessig- säure, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man das bei der Dimerisation von tert. Isobutylen entstehende Gemisch von isomeren Di-isobutylenen, welchen die Formeln

zukommen, in Gegenwart von Kondensations mitteln auf Phenoxyessigsäure einwirken lässt.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gemi sches von Alkylphenoxyessigsäuren der Formel R<B>.</B> CBH4 . 0<B>.</B> CH, <B>.</B> COOH, worin R Kohlenwasserstoffreste mit 9 bis 15.
C-Atomen bedeutet, die durch Propylen- polymerisation gewonnen sind, welches da durch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man ein bei der Propylenpolymerisation erhältliches Ge misch von Olefinen mit 9 bis 15 C-Atomen in Gegenwart von Kondensationsmitteln auf Phenoxyessigsäureeinwirken lässt.
Das so erhaltene Alkylphenoxyessig- säuregemisch ist ein gelbes, viskoses 01, das in Sodalösung klar löslich ist und unter B mm Druck bei<B>160</B> bis 240 siedet. Es kann als Textilhilfsmittel verwendet werden.
Beispiel: 152 Teile Phenoxyessigsäure werden mit 185 Teilen Olefin, das aus der Propylenpoly- merisierung stammt und vorwiegend Kohlen wasserstoffe der Kettenlänge Cn bis Clä ent hält, auf<B>100'</B> erhitzt und 20 Teile Bor- fluorid eingeleitet. Nachdem die Substanz bei<B>100'</B> 1 Stunde nachgerührt wurde, wird mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet. Das Reaktionsprodukt siedet bei 3 mm und 160 bis 240' und stellt ein gelbes, vis koses 01 dar, das in Sodalösung klar löslich ist.

- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Ge misches von Alkylphenoxyessigsäuren der Formel R . CBH, . 0 . CH.. COOH, worin R Kohlenwasserstoffreste mit 9 bis 15 C-Atomen bedeutet, die durch Propylen- polymerisation gewonnen sind, dadurch ge kennzeichnet,dass man ein bei der Propylen- polymerisation erhältliches Gemisch von Olefinen mit 9 bis 15 C-Atomen in Gegen wart von Kondensationsmitteln auf Phenoxy- essigsäure einwirken lässt. Das so erhaltene Alkylphenoxyessigsäure- gemisch ist ein gelbes, viskoses 0l, das in Sodalösung klar löslich ist und unter 3 mm Druck -bei 160 bis 240' siedet. Es, kann als Textilhilfsmittel verwendet werden.
