  Verfahren     zur.Iierstellung    eines     acylierten    Sulfonamides.    Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein       Verfahren    zur Herstellung     eines        acylierten     Sulfonamides.

   Das Verfahren ist dadurch       gekennzeichnet,    dass man     ein        substituiertes          3,4-Dimethyl-benzolsulfonamid    der Formel

    in der R einen durch     hydrolysierende    Mittel       abspaltbaren    Rest bedeutet, durch     Verseifung     in     3,4-Dimethyl-benzol-N-(a-naphthoyl)-sul-          fonamid        überführt:

       Die neue     Verbindung    bildet farblose Kri  stalle vom     Schmelzpunkt    140 .     Sie    soll als  Arzneimittel Verwendung     finden.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  10     Teile        N-(3,4-Dimethyl-beuzolsulfonyl)-          a-naphthoesäureamidin    vom Schmelzpunkt  und der Formel

    werden mit 100     Teilen    15%iger Salzsäure  4     Stunden    auf 90-100  erhitzt. Nach dem  Erkalten     wird        sodaalkalisch    gestellt, filtriert  und mit Essigsäure angesäuert.

   Man erhält  das     3,4-Dimethyl-benzal-N-a-naphthoyl-sul-          fonamid.    Aus     Alkohol        umkristallisiert        bildet     es     farblose'Kristalle    vom Schmelzpunkt 140 .
