<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 312189 Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Polyazofarbstoffes der Stilbenreihel CTegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupfer lialtigen Polyazofarbstoffes der Stilbenreihe, welches darin besteht,

dianotiert und den Diazokörper mit 1 Mol der Kupferkomplexverbindung von 2,2',4'-Trioxy- 1,1'-azobenzol-5-sulfonsäure kuppelt.
Der neue, kupferhaltige Polyazofarbstoff der Stilbenreihe ist ein braunschwarzes Pul ver, welches sich in Wasser mit rotbrauner Farbe löst und Chromvelourleder in lebhaften, rotstiehig braunen, schleifechten Tönen färbt. Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die Teile Gewichtsteile, und die Prozente sind in Gewichtsprozenten angegeben.

Die Lösung der Diazover- bindung lässt man in eine eisgekühlte Lösung von 37,2 Teilen der Kupferkomplexverbin- dung aus 2,2',4'-Trioxy-1,1'-azobenzol-5-sulfon- säure und 40 Teilen Natriumcarbonat in 400 Teilen Wasser fliessen. Nach beendigter Kupp lung wird der erhaltene Polyazofarbstoff mit tels Zusatz von Natriumchlorid abgeschieden, abfiltriert und getrocknet.
Er färbt Chrom velourleder bei ausgezeichnetem Auszieh- und Durchfärbevermögen in brillanten, rotstiehig braunen Tönen. Die Färbungen sind sehr gut schleifeeht und gut lichtecht.
