Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 312189 Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferhaltigen Polyazofarbstoffes der Stilbenreihe Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupfer haltigen Polyazofarbstoffes der Stilbenreihe, welches darin besteht,
dass man 1 Mol der Aminotrisazoverbindung der Zusammenset zung

diazotiert und den Diazokörper mit 1 Mol der Kupferkomplexverbindung von 2,2',4'-Trioxy- 1,1'-azoben7ol-5-sulfonsäure vereinigt.
Der neue, kupferhaltige Polyazofarbstoff ist ein braunschwarzes Pulver, welches sich in Wasser mit violettstichig brauner Farbe löst und Chromvelourleder in dunkelbraunen, schleifechten Tönen färbt.
Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die Teile Gewichtsteile, und die Prozente sind in Gewichtsprozenten angegeben. <I>Beispiel</I> 79,1 Teile der Aminotrisazoverbindung der Formel

werden in Form des Natriumsalzes in 1000 Teilen Wasser gelöst und durch Zugabe einer Lösung von 7 Teilen Natriumnitrit in 20 Tei len Wasser und 30 Teilen 30o/oiger Salzsäure bei 15 diazotiert. Die Diazosuspension lässt man zu einer eisgekühlten Lösung von 37,
2 Teilen der Kupferkomplexverbindung von 2,2',4'-Trioxy-1,1'-azobenzol-5-sulfonsäure und 40 Teilen Natriumcarbonat in 400 Teilen Wasser fliessen. Nach beendigter Kupplung wird der erhaltene Polyazofarbstoff durch Zugabe von Natriumchlorid abgeschieden, von der Lösung abfiltriert und getroeknet. Er ist ein braunschwarzes Pulver, welches sich in Wasser mit violettstichig brauner Farbe löst und Chromvelourleder in dunkelbraunen, schleifechten Tönen färbt.

The new, copper-containing polyazo dye is a brown-black powder that dissolves in water with a purple-tinged brown color and dyes chrome suede in dark brown, abrasion-resistant tones.
