Diazokörper mit 1 Mol 2,2',4'- Trioxy-1,1'-azobenzol-5-sulfonsäure kuppelt und den erhaltenen Polyazofarbstoff mit kup ferabgebenden Mitteln derart behandelt, dass unter Aufspaltung der Methoxygruppe ein kupferhaltiger Polyazofarbstoff entsteht, der auf ein F'arbstoffmolekül zwei Atome Kupfer komplex gebunden enthält.
Der neue, kupferhaltige Polyazofarbstoff der Stilbenreihe ist ein schwarzes Pulver, welches sich in Wasser mit dunkelbrauner Farbe löst und Chromvelourleder in schwarz braunen, schleifechten Tönen färbt.
