Description
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung neuer wertvoller, vorzugsweise sulfogruppenfreier Azofarbstoffe der allgemeinen Formel

Die Farbstoffe der Formeln (1) und (2). die eine nicht quaternisierte Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherte Hydroxyl aminogruppe enthalten. können erfindungsgemäss mit
Quaternisierungsmittel behandelt werden, d. h. z.B. Farbstoffe der Formel (2), worin n = list, und D2, Y, R1 und R3 die angegebene Bedeutung haben, mit Verbindungen der Formel R2X, worin X die angegebene Bedeutung hat und R2 einen Alkyl-, Aralkyl- oder Cycloalkylrest darstellt.
Als Beispiele von Diazoverbindungen seien vor allem aromatische, z.B. solche der Naphthalin- und insbesondere der Benzolreihe erwähnt, die als Substituenten insbesondere Halogenatome oder Nitro-, Sulfonamid-, Phenyl- Phenoxyoder Phenylazogruppen oder niedrigmolekulare Alkyl-, Halogenalkyl-, Alkoxy-, Alkylsulfonyl-. N-alkylierte Sulfonamid- oder Karbonsäurealkylestergruppen enthalten, wobei unter niedrigmolekular eine Zahl von höchstens 4 aliphatisch gebundenen Kohlenstoffatomen gemeint ist.

Es kommen als Diazokomponenten aber auch beliebige diazotierbare heterocyclische Amine in Betracht, die keine sauren, wasserlöslichmachenden Substituenten enthalten, insbesondere aber die Amine, die einen heterocyclischen Fünfring mit 2 oder 3 Heteroatomen, vor allem einem Stickstoff- un einem oder zwei Schwefel-, Sauerstoff- oder Stickstoffatomen als Heteroatome aufweisen.
Die verwendbaren heterocyclischen Diazokomponenten können ebenfalls die bei den aromatischen Diazokomponenten erwähnten Substituenten enthalten. Sie können beispielsweise aus der Pyridin-, Pyrazol-, Imidazol-, Triazol-, Tetrazol-, Oxazol-, Thiazol-, Selenazol-, Oxdiazol-, Thiadiazol-, Pyrimidin-, Triazin-, Chinolin-, Indazol-, Benzimidazol-, Naphthimidazol-, Benzoxazol-, Naphthoxazol-, Benzthiazol-, Naphthothiazol- oder Benzoselenazolreihe stammen.
Als Beispiele seien die folgenden genannt: 2-Aminothiazol, 2-Amino-5-nitrothiazol, 2-Amino-5 -methylsulfonyl-thiazol, 2-Amino-5-cyanthiazol, 2-Amino-5-cyanthiazol, 2-Amino-4-methyl-5-nitrothiazol, 2-Amino-4-methylthiazol, 2-Amino-4-phenylthiazol, 2-Amino-4-(4'-chlor)-phenylthiazol, 2-Amino-4-(4 '-nitro)-phenylthiazol, 3-Aminopyridin, 3-Aminochinolin, 3-Aminopyrazol, 3-Amino- 1-phenylpyrazol, 3-Aminoindazol, 3-Amino-1,2,4-triazol, 3-Amino- 1-(4'-methoxyphenyl)-pyrazol, 2-Aminobenzthiazol, 2-Amino-6-methylbenzthiazol, 2-Amino-6-methoxybenzthiazol, 2-Amino-6-chlorbenzthiazol, 2-Amino- 6-cyanbenzthiazol, 2-Amino-6-nitrobenzthiazol, 2-Amino-6-carboäthoxybenzthiazol, 2-Amino-6-methylsulfonylbenzthiazol, 2-Amino- 1,3,4-thiadiazol, 2-Amino-1,3,5-thiadiazol,
2-Amino-4-phenyl- oder -4-methyl-1,3,5-thiadiazol, 2-Amino-5-phenyl- 1,3 ,4-thiadiazol.
Bevorzugt sind heterocyclische Diazokomponenten aus der Thiazol-, Thiadiazol- oder Benzthiazolreihe.
Die als Kupplungskomponenten verwendeten 1-Arylpyrazole enthalten in 5-Stellung eine Hydroxylgruppe oder eine primäre Aminogruppe. Die gegebenenfalls quaternisierte Amino-, Hydroxylamino- oder Hydrazinogruppe haben sie an den in 1-Stellung befindlichen Arylkern über eine gegebenenfalls verzweigte, höchstens 4 Kohlenstoffatome enthaltende aliphatische Kohlenstoffbrücke gebunden.
Als solche Kupplungskomponenten, die die Amino-, Hydroxylaminooder Hydrazinogruppe bereits enthalten, seien beispielsweise die folgenden genannt: 1-p- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-methyl- 5-hydroxypyrazol, 1 -p- (Diäthylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-propyl- 5-hydroxypyrazol, 1 -p- (Piperidinomethyl) -phenyl-3-methyl- 5-hydroxypyrazol, 1-m- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -p-methylphenyl- 3-methyl-5hydroxypyrazol, l-m- (ss-Diäthylaminoäthyl) -o-chlorphenyl- 3-äthoxycarbonyl5 -hydroxypyrazol, I-p- (Morpholinomethyl) -phenyl-3 -methoxycarbonyl-5hydroxypyrazol, 1-o- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-aminocarbonyl-5hydroxypyrazol, 1-p- (y-Dimethylaminobutyl)-phenyl-3-methyl-5hydroxypyrazol, 1-p- (ss-Aminoäthyl) -phenyl-3-butyl- 5-hydroxypyrazol,
1-m- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-5-aminopyrazol, 1-p- (ss-Aminoäthyl) -phenyl-3-methyl- 5-aminopyrazol, 1-o- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-methyl- 5-aminopyrazol, 1-p- (Bis-ss-hydroxyäthylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-methyl- 5aminopyrazol, 1-p- (ss-Morpholinoäthyl) -o-methylphenyl-3- äthyl- 5aminopyrazol, 1-p- (y-Pyrrolidinylpropyl) -phenyl-3-methoxy- 5aminopyrazol, 1-p- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-methoxy- 5aminopyrazol, 1-p- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-phenyl- 5aminopyrazol, 1-p- (ss-Dimethylaminoäthoxy) -3-methyl- 5-hydorxypyrazol, 1-p- (ss-Dimethylaminoäthoxy) -3-methyl- 5-aminopyrazol, sowie die entsprechenden, an der am Phenylkern in 1-Stellung des Amino- bzw. Hydroxypyrazols gebundenen Alkylenbrücke anstatt der endständigen Aminogruppe eine Hydrazino- oder verätherte Hydroxylaminogruppe aufweisenden 5-Amino- bzw.
-Hydroxypyrazole. Unter Amino-, Hydrazino- bzw. verätherte Hydroxylaminogruppe sind dabei nicht nur die Derivate von Ammoniak, Hydrazin oder Methoxyamin, sondern allgemein die von den weiter oben erwähnten primären, sekundären, tertiären oder quaternären Stickstoffverbindungen abgeleiteten Reste zu verstehen. Die Herstellung solcher Pyrazole geschieht beispielsweise durch Umsetzung von Nitrilen, z.B. von Diacetonitril mit Hydrazinen, z.B. p-Dimethylaminomethylphenylhydrazin zu den 5-Aminopyrazolen bzw. durch Umsetzen von ss-Ketoestern, z.B. Acetessigester mit Hydrazinen zu den 5-Hydroxypyrazolen.
Anstelle einer einheitlichen Diazokomponente kann man auch ein Gemisch zweier oder mehrerer der erfindungsgemässen Diazokomponenten und anstelle einer einheitlichen Azokomponente ein Gemisch zweier oder mehrerer der erfindungsgemässen Azokomponenten verwenden.
Die Diazotierung der erwähnten Diazokomponenten kann nach an sich bekannten Methoden, z.B. mit Hilfe von Mineralsäure, insbesondere Salzsäure, und Natriumnitrit oder z.B. mit einer Lösung von Nitrosylschwefelsäure in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure, erfolgen.
Die Kupplung kann ebenfalls in an sich bekannter Weise, z.B. in neutralem bis saurem Mittel, gegebenenfalls in Gegen wart von Natriumacetat oder ähnlichen, die Kupplungsge schwindigkeit beeinflussenden Puffersubstanzen oder
Katalysatoren, wie z.B. Pyridin resp. dessen Salzen, vorgenom men werden.
Diejenigen unter den neuen Farbstoffen, die eine quaternisierte Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherte Hydroxyl aminogruppe enthalten, können auch in der Weise erhalten werden, dass man zuerst die entsprechenden Farbstoffe, die eine nicht quaternisierte Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherte
Hydroxylaminogruppe enthalten, herstellt, und diese durch
Behandlung mit alkylierenden Mitteln quaternisiert. Als solche
Alkylierungs- bzw. Quaternisierungsmittel kann man z.B.
verwenden: Ester von starken Mineralsäuren oder organischer Sulfonsäuren. z.B. Dimethylsulfat, Diäthylsulfat, Alkylhalogenide, z.B. Methylchlorid, -bromid oder -iodid, Aralkylhalogenide, z.B. Benzylchlorid, Ester von niedrigmolekularen
Alkan-sulfonsäuren, wie z.B. Methylester von Methan-,
Aethan- oder Butansulfonsäure, und Ester von Benzolsulfonsäuren, die zusätzliche Substituenten aufweisen können, z.B
Methyl-, Aethyl-, Propyl- oder Butylester von Benzolsulfonsäure, von 7- oder 4-Methylbenzolsulfonsäure, 4-Chlorbenzolsulfonsäure oder 3- oder 4-Nitrobenzolsulfonsäure.
Die Alkylierung erfolgt zweckmässig durch Erwärmen in einem indifferenten organischen Lösungsmittel, beispielsweise Kohlenwasserstoffen, wie Benzol, Toluol oder Xylol, Halogen kohlenwasserstoffen, wie Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Tetrachlor äthan, Chlorbenzol, o-Dichlorbenzol, oder Nitrokohlenwasserstoffen, wie Nitromethan, Nitrobenzol oder Nitronaphthalin. Auch Säureanhydride, Säureamide oder Nitrile, wie Essigsäureanhydrid, Dimethylformamid oder Acetonitril oder auch Dimethylsulfoxyd können als Lösungsmittel bei der Alkylierung Verwendung finden. Anstelle eines Lösungsmittels kann man auch einen grossen Überschuss an Alkylierungsmittel verwenden. In diesem Falle ist allerdings darauf zu achten, dass sich das Gemisch nicht übermässig erhitzt, da die Reaktion stark exotherm ist.
Trotzdem ist es in den meisten Fällen, speziell in Gegenwart organischer Lösungsmittel, notwendig, das Reaktionsgemisch von aussen zu erwärmen, um die Reaktion in Gang zu setzen. In besonderen Fällen kann die Alkylierung auch in wässerigen Medium oder unter Verwendung eines Alkohols, eventuell in Gegenwart geringer Mengen Kaliumjodid durchgeführt werden.
Durch die Alkylierung können natürlich dabei je nach Bedingungen auch andere Stickstoffatome quaternisiert werden, z.B. solche, die sich als Ringatome im Rest einer heterocyclischen Diazokomponente befinden. Besonders zu erwähnen sind hier solche Farbstoffe, in denen das quaternisier bare Ringstickstoffatom mit der Aminogruppe in 5-Stellung des Pyrazols durch eine ununterbrochene Kette konjugierter Doppelbindungen verbunden und vorzugsweise dem die Azobrücke tragenden Ringkohlenstoffatom benachbart ist.
Falls sie nötig ist, erfolgt die Reinigung der Farbstoffsalze zweckmässig durch Auflösen in Wasser, wobei allenfalls nicht umgesetzter Ausgangsfarbstoff als unlöslicher Rückstand abfiltriert werden kann. Aus der wässerigen Lösung kann durch Zugabe von wasserlöslichen Salzen, beispielsweise Natriumchlorid, der Farbstoff wieder abgeschieden werden.
Die verfahrensgemäss erhaltenen quaternisierten Farbstoffe enthalten als Anion vorzugsweise den Rest einer starken anorganischen Säure, beispielsweise des Chlorwasserstoffes, der Schwefelsäure oder der Phosphorsäure, oder den Rest eines Schwefelsäurehalbesters, den Rest einer Sulfon- oder Carbonsäure. Die erwähnten, verfahrensgemäss in das Farbstoffmolekül eingeführten Anionen können auch durch Anionen anderer anorganischer Säuren, beispielsweise der Phosphorsäure, der Schwefelsäure, oder organischer Säuren, wie z.B. der Ameisensäure, der Milchsäure oder der Weinsäure ersetzt werden; in gewissen Fällen können auch die freien Basen verwendet werden. Die Farbstoffsalze können auch in Form von Doppelsalzen, beispielsweise mit Halogeniden der Elemente der zweiten Gruppe des periodischen Systems, insbesondere Zink- oder Cadmiumchlorid, verwendet werden.
Die erfindungsgemäss erhaltenen Farbstoffe bzw. Farbstoffsalze mit einer gegebenenfalls quaternisierten Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherten Hydroxylaminogruppe eignen sich zum Färben und Bedrucken der verschiedensten vollsynthetischen Fasern, wie z.B. Polyvinylchlorid-, Polyamid-, Polyurethanfasern, ferner von Fasern aus Polyestern aromatischer Dicarbonsäuren, wie z.B. von Polyäthylenterephthalatfasern, insbesondere aber von Polyacrylnitrilfaserstoffen oder von Polyvinylidencyanidfasern (Darvan), sowie von anionisch modifizierten vollsynthetischen Polyamid- und Polyesterfasern.
Unter Polyacrylnitrilfasern versteht man vor allem Polymere, die mehr als 80%, z.B. 80 bis 95% Acrylnitril enthalten; daneben enthalten sie 5 bis 20% Vinylacetat, Vinylpyridin, Vinylchlorid, Vinylidenchlorid, Acrylsäure, Acrylsäureester, Methacrylsäure, Methacrylsäureester etc. Diese Produkte werden z.B. unter den folgenden Markennamen verkauft: Acrilan 1956 (The Chemstrand Corporation, Decatur, Alabama, USA), Acrilan 41 (The Chemstrand Corporation), Creslan (American Cyanamid Company), Orlon 44 (Du Pont), Crylor HH (Soc. Rhodiaceta SA, France), Leacril N (Applicazioni Chimice Socità per Azioni, Italien), Dynel (Union Carbide Chem.
Corp.), Exlan (Japan Exlan Industriy Co., Japan), Vonnel (Mitsubishi, Japan), Verel (Tennessee Eastman, USA), Zefran (Dow Chemical, USA), Wolcrylon (Filmfabrik Agfa, Wolfen), Ssaniw (UdSSR) und auch Orlon 42 , Dralon , Courtelle usw.
Auf diesen Fasern, die auch in Mischung miteinander gefärbt werden können, erhält man mit den neuen Farbstoffen intensive und egale Färbungen mit guter Lichtechtheit und guten Allgemeinechtheiten, insbesondere guter Wasch-,
Schweiss-, Sublimier-, Knitterfest-, Dekatur-, Bügel-, Reib-, Carbonisier-, Wasser-, Chlorwasser-, Meerwasser-, Trocken reinigungs-, Überfärbe- und Lösungsmittelechtheit. Die erfindungsgemässen neuen Farbstoffe haben u.a. auch eine gute
Stabilität in einem grösseren p-Bereich, eine gute Affinität und gute Aufbauvermögen z.B. in wässerigen Lösungen von verschiedenen pH-Werten und eine gute Beuchechtheit.
Ausserdem zeigen die neuen Farbstoffe im allgemeinen eine gute Reserve auf Wolle und anderen natürlichen Polyamidfasern, sowie auf Baumwolle.
Die quaternisierten, wasserlöslichen Farbstoffe sind im allgemeinen wenig elektrolyt-empfindlich und zeigen z.T. eine ausgesprochen gute Löslichkeit in Wasser oder polaren Lösungsmitteln. Die Färbung mit den quaternisierten, wasserlöslichen Farbstoffen geschieht im allgemeinen in wässerigem, neutralem oder saurem Medium, bei Siedetemperatur unter Atmosphärendruck oder in geschlossenem Gefäss unter erhöhter Temperatur und erhöhtem Druck. Die handelsüblichen Egalisiermittel stören nicht, sind jedoch nicht erforderlich.
Die angegebenen Farbstoffe eignen sich vor allem auch für die Trichromiefärbung. Ferner sind sie wegen ihrer Hydrolysebeständigkeit mit Vorteil verwendbar für das Hochtemperaturfärben und für das Färben in Gegenwart von Wolle. Sie können auch durch Bedrucken auf die Faserstoffe aufgebracht werden.
Zu diesem Zweck verwendet man beispielsweise eine Druckpaste, welche den Farbstoff nebst den in der Druckerei üblichen Hilfsmitteln enthält. Sie eignen sich ferner auch für die Massenfärbung von Polymerisationsprodukten von Acrylnitril, wie auch von anderen plastischen, gegebenenfalls gelösten Massen, in licht- und waschechten Nuancen, ferner für die Färbung von Ölfarben oder Lacken. Wegen ihrer guten Egalisierbarkeit eignen sie sich vor allem auch für die Teppichfärberei.
Die neuen, erfindungsgemäss hergestellten, nicht oder wenig wasserlöslichen Farbstoffe, die eine nicht quaternisierte Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherte Hydroxylaminogruppe aufweisen, werden zweckmässig in feinverteilter Form und unter Zusatz von Dispergiermitteln, wie Seife, Sulfitcelluloseablauge oder synthetischen Waschmitteln, oder einer Kombination verschiedener Netz- und Dispergiermittel verwendet. In der Regel ist es zweckmässig, diese Farbstoffe vor dem Färben in ein Färbepräparat überzuführen, das ein Dispergiermittel und feinverteilten Farbstoff in solcher Form enthält, dass beim Verdünnen der Farbstoffpräparate mit Wasser eine feine Dispersion entsteht. Solche Farbstoffpräpara.
te können in bekannter Weise, z.B. durch Vermahlen des Farbstoffes in hochwirksamen Mahlvorrichtungen in trockener oder nasser Form mit oder ohne Zusatz von Dispergiermitteln beim Mahlvorgang erhalten werden. Sie sind ebenfalls zum Färben und Bedrucken der verschiedensten halbsynthetischen und vollsynthetischen Fasern geeignet, wie z. 13. von Celluloseacetat Polyolefin-, z. B. modifizierten Polypropylen-, Polyester-, Polyvinylchlorid-, Polymid- oder Polyurethanfasern, insbesondere aber von Fasern aus Polyacrylnitril.
Zur Erreichung starker Färbungen erweist es sich als zweckmässig, den Färbeprozess bei höheren Temperaturen, beispielsweise bei Siedetemperatur, durchzuführen. Vorteilhaft wird ein Dispergiermittel zugegeben und das Färbebad schwach sauer gestellt, beispielsweise durch Zusatz einer schwachen Säure, z.B. Essigsäure.
Die neuen Farbstoffe mit einer nicht quaternisierten Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherten Hydroxylaminogruppe eignen sich ferner auch zum Färben aus organischen Lösungsmitteln, wie z.B. zum kontinuierlichen Färben von Polyacrylnitril- oder Polyesterfasern aus chlorierten aliphatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen, die gegebenenfalls z.B. 10% Dimethylformamid enthalten.
Die vorliegenden Farbstoffe können auch durch Bedrucken aufgebracht werden. Zu diesem Zweck verwendet man z.B.
eine Druckfarbe, die neben den in der Druckerei üblichen Hilfsmitteln, wie Netz- und Verdickungsmitteln, den feindispergierten Farbstoff gegebenenfalls im Gemisch mit anderen Farbstoffen enthält.
In den nachfolgenden Beispielen bedeuten die Teile, sofern nichts anderes angegeben wird, Gewichtsteile, die Prozente Gewichtsprozente, und die Temperaturen sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.
Beispiel I
13,8 Teile 2-Nitroanilin werden mit 34 Vol.-Teilen konz.
Salzsäure verrieben und mit 400 Teilen Eiswasser verdünnt. Be 0 bis 50 werden 25 Vol.-Teile 4n-Natriumnitritlösung zugetropft und die Mischung wird eine Stunde gerührt. Die Diazolösung wird klärfiltriert und bei 0 bis 5"zu einer Lösung von 23,1 Teilen 1-(m-Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3methyl- 5-pyrazolon in 100 Vol.-Teilen Alkohol zugegeben.
Das Kupplungsgemisch wird mit Natriumacetatlösung kongoneutral gestellt. Nach beendeter Kupplung wird der ausgefallene Farbstoff der Formel

abfiltriert, mit wenig kaltem Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet. Er färbt Polyacrylnitrilfasern in gelben Tönen von vorzüglichen Echtheiten.
Die Kupplungskomponente erhält man durch Kondensation von 3-Dimethylaminomethylphenylhydrazin mit Acetessigsäureäthylester.
Beispiel 2
7,6 Teile Natriumnitrit werden in 136 Teile Schwefelsäure monohydratbei 10 bis 15" eingetragen und gelöst. 16,3 Teile 2 Amino-5-nitrobenzonitril werden darauf in die Lösung eingetragen und diese 2 Stunden bei 20 bis 25"gerührt. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird auf 600 Teile Eiswasser gegossen und filtriert. Die überschüssige salpetrige Säure wird durch Zugabe von Sulfaminsäure zerstört. Die so erhaltene Diazolösung wird bei 0 bis 5"zu einer Lösung von 23 Teilen 1-p- (Dimethylaminomethyl) -phenyl-3-methyl- 5-aminopyrazol in 200 Vol. Teilen Alkohol zugegeben. Nach beendeter Kupplung wird das Gemisch mit Natriumhydroxydlösung neutralisiert. Der ausgefallene Farbstoff der Formel

wird abfiltriert, mit Wasser gewaschen und getrocknet.
Er färbt Polyacrylnitrilfasern in orangen Tönen von vorzüglichen Echt- heiten.
Die Kupplungskomponente erhält man durch Kondensation von 4-Dimethylaminornethylphenylhydrazin mit Diacetonitril in wässeriger saurer Lösung.
Nach dem gleichen Verfahren erhält man Farbstoffe, die Polyacrylnitrilfasern in den in Spalte III der nachfolgenden Tabelle angegebenen Tönen färben, wenn man die in Spalte I angegebenen Diazokomponenten diazotiert und mit den in Spalte II angeführten Kupplungskomponenten kuppelt.

Beispiel 3
4,04 Teile des gemäss Beispiel 2 erhaltenen Farbstoffes werden in 100 Teilen Chlorbenzol warm gelöst. Eine Lösung von 1,9 Teilen Dimethylsulfat in 5 Teilen Chlorbenzol wird zugetropft. Das Reaktionsgemisch wird während 4 Stunden bei 950 gerührt und dann abgekühlt. Die Suspension wird abfiltriert. Der Filterkuchen wird in heissem Wasser gelöst, die Lösung filtriert und aus dem Filtrat der Farbstoff ausgesalzen.

wird abfiltriert. Er färbt Polyacrylnitrilfasern in orangen Tönen von sehr guten Echtheiten.
Quaternisiert man in gleicher Weise die in Spalte I der nachfolgenden Tabelle genannten Farbstoffe mit den in Spalte II genannten Alkylierungsmitteln, so erhält man Farbstoffe mit dem in Spalte III genannten Anion, die Polyacrylnitrilfasern in den in Spalte IV angegebenen Tönen färben.

1 Teil des gemäss Beispiel 1 erhaltenen Farbstoffes, 1 Teil 50%iges neutralisiertes Umsetzungsprodukt von 1 Mol eines höheren Alkylamins mit etwa 20 Kohlenstoffatomen mit 30 Mol Aethylenoxyd. 1 Teil konzentrierte Essigsäure und 7 Teile Wasser werden in einer Kugelmühle zu einer feinen Dispersion vermahlen.
Zu einem Färbebad aus 400 Teilen Wasser und 4 Teilen einer 50%igen Lösung eines Kondensationsproduktes aus 1 Mol 1-Methyl- 2-heptadecylbenzimidazol mit 7 Mol Aethylenoxyd, welches mit Essigsäure auf einen pH-Wert von 4 eingestellt wurde. wird das oben beschriebene Farbstoffpräparat zugegeben. Es wird mit 100 Teilen gut genetzten Polyacrylnitril-Flocken eingegangen, innerhalb von 30 Minuten zum Sieden erhitzt und 1¸ Stunden bei Siedetemperatur gefärbt. Das gefärbte Material wird anschliessend gut gespült.
Man erhält eine egale gelbe Färbung mit vorzüglichen Echtheiten.
Färbet'orchnft B:
1 Teil des gemäss Beispiel 3 erhaltenen Farbstoffes wird in 2000 Teilen Wasser unter Zusatz von 4 Teilen 40%iger Essigsäure, 1 Teil kristallisiertem Natriumacetat und 10 Teilen wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat gelöst. In dieses Färbebad geht man bei mit 100 Teilen abgetrocknetem Garn aus Polyacrylnitrilstapelfasern ein, erhöht die Temperatur innert einer halben
Stunde auf 100 und färbt eine Stunde bei Kochtemperatur.
Dann wird die Färbung gut gespült und getrocknet.

2. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Kupplungskomponenten 5-Hydroxypyrazole verwendet.
3. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Kupplungskomponenten aus der Reihe der 3-Methyl-5-amino- oder -hydroxypyrazole verwendet.
4. Verfahren gemäss Unteranspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Kupplungskomponenten aus der Reihe der 1 -p- (Dimethylaminomethyl) phenyl-3-methyl- 5-amino- oder -hydroxypyrazole verwendet.
5. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Diazokomponente ein Amin der heterocyclischen oder der Benzolreihe verwendet, das mindestens einen und höchstens 3 negative Substituenten aufweist.
6. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass man als Diazokomponente ein Aminobenzol, Aminothiazol, Aminobenzthiazol, Aminopyrazol, Aminoindazol, Aminotriazol, Aminothiadiazol, Aminopyndin oder Aminochinolin verwendet, das als Substituenten keine anderen als eine Trifluormethyl-, niedrigmolekulare Alkyl-, Cyan-, Nitro-, Phenylazo-, niedrigmolekulare Alkoxycarbonyl-, -niedrigmolekulare Alkylcarbonyl-, niedrigmolekulare Alkylsul fonyl-, Acylamino- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppen oder ein Chlor- oder Bromatom enthält, wobei Acyl @ den Rest einer

Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Kupplungskomponenten 5-Hydroxypyrazole verwendet.3. Verfahren gemäss Unteranspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Kupplungskomponenten aus der Reihe der 1 -p- (Dimethylaminomethyl) phenyl-3-methyl- 5-amino- oder -hydroxypyrazole verwendet.5. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch I, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man als Diazokomponente ein Amin der heterocyclischen oder der Benzolreihe verwendet, das mindestens einen und höchstens 3 negative Substituenten aufweist.6. Verfahren gemäss Patentanspruch 1, dadurch gekenn- zeichnet, dass man als Diazokomponente ein Aminobenzol, Aminothiazol, Aminobenzthiazol, Aminopyrazol, Aminoindazol, Aminotriazol, Aminothiadiazol, Aminopyndin oder Aminochinolin verwendet, das als Substituenten keine anderen als eine Trifluormethyl-, niedrigmolekulare Alkyl-, Cyan-, Nitro-, Phenylazo-, niedrigmolekulare Alkoxycarbonyl-, -niedrigmolekulare Alkylcarbonyl-, niedrigmolekulare Alkylsul fonyl-, Acylamino- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppen oder ein Chlor- oder Bromatom enthält, wobei Acyl @ den Rest einerhöchstens 4 Kohlenstoffatome enthaltenden Carbonsäure oder Alkylsulfonsäure bedeutet.7. Verfahren gemäss Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Y eine Methylenbrücke und R1 und R2 Methyloder Aethylreste oder Wasserstoff bedeuten.8. Verfahren gemäss Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass X: -Cl, -Br, -J, =SO4, -SO3-Alkyl, -SO3-Aryl oder -SO3-O-Alkyl bedeutet.PATENTANSPRUCH II Verwendung der gemäss Patentanspruch I erhaltenen Azofarbstoffe, worin Z eine nicht quaternisierte Amino-, Hydrazino- oder verätherte Hydroxylaminogruppe bedeutet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diese mit quaternisierenden Mitteln umsetzt.
