Abstract
Se proporcionan procedimientos en los que se pueden realizar etapas sucesivas de extracción de valores hidrometalúrgicos usando los productos de captura de carbono y un procedimiento de generación de reactivos electrolíticos. El procedimiento electrolítico proporciona un lixiviante ácido y un hidróxido alcalino, estando el hidróxido alcalino disponible para su uso ya sea directamente como precipitante en las etapas hidrometalúrgicas, o disponible para la conversión por captura de carbono en un carbonato de metal alcalino que, a su vez, puede usarse como precipitante en las etapas hidrometalúrgicas selectivas.
