Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a nuevos compuestos que poseen tanto actividad inhibidora de la enzima convertidota de angiotensina, como actividad inhibidora de la endopeptidasa neutra, y a metodos para preparar dichos compuestos. La presente invencion se refiere asi mismo a composiciones farmaceuticas que contienen dichos compuestos inhibidores dobles o sus sales farmaceuticamente aceptables y a su uso en la fabricacion de medicamentos usados en la insuficiencia cardiaca, para reducir la mortalidad en pacientes con insuficiencia cardiaca (ICC) o con disfuncion ventricular izquierda, tras un infarto del miocardio, insuficiencia renal, hipertension esencial y la cirrosis.
