Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for preparing cops for a winding machine, in which the thread start can be at different positions on the circumference of the cops or the cops and cops can be separated out if they are not prepared, and a device for performing this method .
  • DE-C-30 45 825 describes, for example, a device in which improperly prepared or to be prepared spinning bobbins return to a bobbin separating device and attempts are made again and again to prepare the bobbins in a fixed number of cycles. If the number of unpreparable cops in the circuit increases too much, means are provided to remove these cops from the circuit.
  • the purpose of the return to the bobbin separating device is to support the loosening of the thread start by mechanical contact with the surface of the bobbin with the guide devices and contact with other bobbins. It can happen that a certain number of cops, which cannot be prepared, remain in the circuit over a longer period of time and thus the output of properly prepared cops from the circuit is reduced.
  • DE-A-36 30 836 describes a device in which the cops are basically prepared in several stages. First, one is applied by the ring spinning machine The front or rear winding is destroyed, the beginning of the thread is placed anywhere on the bobbin and then searched again on the entire bobbin, sucked in and brought into the interior of the head tube. Furthermore, this device provides for intensive processing of the cop with mechanical means if the thread search is unsuccessful in order to loosen the beginning of the thread. Apart from the high stress on the bobbin by the mechanical means, the effectiveness of the proposed thread detection is not adapted to the required high output of properly prepared bobbins for the spinning machine.
  • a bobbin transport and treatment system which, among other things, has a closed bobbin transport path with bobbin insertion points for inserting bobbins, a preparation device for locating the thread end of the spinning bobbins to be rewound, and a secondary transport path for depositing machine-unpreparable spinning bobbins having.
  • the spinning bobbins temporarily stored in the secondary transport path are either removed from the system via a bobbin winder or the end of the thread is searched for manually; in this case the manually prepared spinning heads remain in the system.
  • the invention is based on the knowledge that preparation devices which remove the beginning of the thread from a limited axial area of the cop or the coping sleeve offer the highest probability of success for detecting the beginning of the thread. Contrary to this knowledge, experts place the destruction of an existing top or bottom winding at the beginning of the cop preparation. Furthermore, the above-mentioned devices ensure, in particular when the beginning of the thread is taken directly from the sleeve, for example as an upper turn, that the surface of the package is not included in the detection of the beginning of the thread.
  • the pretreatment of cops of the so-called second category, in which the thread start is not in a defined, is located in a narrow, axial area of the cop, pneumatic means for detecting the beginning of the thread, which also prevents damage to the bobbin.
  • the effectiveness of the first preparation device is further increased by the second preparation device, so that cops which cannot be prepared and which have to be removed from the circuit for manual preparation are an absolute exception.
  • the advantages of the invention are particularly evident when the preparation device is incorporated into a fixed composite system from the ring spinning machine to the winding machine.
  • the device according to the invention also offers the possibility of feeding copes that have incompletely expired on the winding machine and rejected there, if necessary after manual loosening of the thread start, to the preparation process at the second preparation device.
  • the cops 1 are guided from a ring spinning machine 2 via a cop feed 3 to a transfer position 4. If there is no cop 1 on the carrier unit of the transport disk 5 arranged next to the transfer position 4, this is indicated by a photo sensor 40. In this case, a cop 1 coming from the ring spinning machine 2 is positioned on the transport disk 5. This transport disc 5 is gradually moved in the specified direction of rotation. A cop 1 placed on the transport disc 5 at the transfer position 4 is moved to the second preparation device 6. However, since it was determined via the photosensor 40 that the cop 1 comes directly from the ring spinning machine 2, it is classified as a cop first category, that is, it is assumed that the thread start in a narrow, axial area of the cop 1 or the head sleeve lies.
  • this cop 1 contains an upper turn on the cop sleeve. Because the cop 1 is classified in the first category, the second preparation device 6 is not put into operation. The cop 1 continues step by step to the first preparation device 7 transported.
  • this preparation device 7 which is shown in more detail in FIG. 2, the front turn is pulled off the sleeve head by means of a stripping device 16 and gets into the area of a suction tube 17, whereby the beginning of the thread is sucked in, cut off by scissors 19, recognized by an inspector 20 and then by an a suction pipe 12 existing vacuum is sucked into the interior of the head sleeve 10 when a valve 13 is opened.
  • the suction flow in the suction pipe 17 is controlled by a valve 18.
  • a thread brake 15 is arranged. If the inspector 20 has determined the presence of the beginning of the find, the cop 1 described is ejected onto the cop removal path 8 and is transported to the winding machine 9. If the inspector 20 has not recognized any thread on the first preparation device 7, this cop 1 is subsequently classified in the second category. This cop 1 is then guided past the cop removal path 8 and later reaches the position opposite the transfer position 4. In this case, the photosensor 40 recognizes that a cop 1 is already present on the relevant carrier unit of the transport disk 5 and blocks the supply of a cop 1 from the cop supply 3. Furthermore, the second preparation device 6 signals that a cop of the second category is present on this carrier unit.
  • This second preparation device 6 is then actuated as soon as the second category cop 1 is positioned next to it.
  • the structure of this second preparation device 6 can be seen in FIG. 3.
  • the Kops is driven via a drive whorl 14 by a friction wheel drive 27, which receives its movement by a motor 28.
  • the drive direction corresponds to the unwinding direction of the cop 1.
  • a valve 25 By opening a valve 25, a vacuum is created in the suction pipe 21, which acts on the entire surface of the cop due to a slot 22 which extends to the lower end of the suction pipe.
  • the thread start detected by the surface of the cop is along the slot 22 to one Scissors 24 conveyed, the thread being deposited in a channel 23 which contains corresponding thread guides 26.
  • the thread After cutting the thread with the scissors 24, the thread is wound onto the tip of the head sleeve by maintaining the rotational movement of the bobbin. It is not necessary to change the direction of rotation of the cop, since the thread is no longer clamped after cutting and adheres to the cop 1 in such a way that it is carried along and wound against the winding direction of the cop.
  • This cop is then transported on to the first preparation device 7 and treated like a cop of the first category. If the beginning of the thread could not be found on the second preparation device 6, this cop 1 also does not receive the front winding required for the first preparation device 7.
  • the inspector 20 again recognizes no thread and signals to a central unit 50 that this cop should not be passed on to the cop removal path 8.
  • This shift register 51 is coupled to the central unit 50, which controls the stepwise rotary movement of the transport disc 5 via a motor 52 and detects the signals from the photo sensor 40 and thus the cop feed 3 by means of a motor 53 controls. It also controls the commissioning of the second preparation device 6 in the case of an adjacent positioning of the carrier unit, which was recognized as occupied by the photosensor 40 at the transfer position 4.
  • the central unit 50 controls the ejection of prepared cops 1 onto the cop removal path 8, which can be done, for example, by known grippers or switches, or in connection with the shift register 51, a further circulation or the removal of unpreparable cops 1 on the ejection 8 ', From which these cops 1 then arrive in a schematically illustrated memory.
  • the 24 carrier units on the circumference of the transport disk 5 are provided with consecutive numbers, each of which corresponds to one stage of the shift register 51. In this way, the central unit 50 can assign the signals and also the control pulses exactly to the respective carrier units.
  • the second preparation device in the position 6 ', that is to say in front of the transfer position 4.
  • This arrangement also has the advantage that the second preparation device can only reach cops 1 that do not belong to category 1. Accordingly, this second preparation device 6 'is put into operation in any case if a cop 1 is positioned next to it. Commissioning can be controlled via the central unit 50 analogously to the first example, but also directly by means of a photo sensor 57, which detects the presence of a cop 1.
  • Copes 1 processed on the winding machine 9 are fed back to the ring spinning machine 2 as tubes 10 via a tube return transport.
  • FIGS. 4 and 5 A variant of the design of the carrier units on the transport disk 5 is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5.
  • a spindle which consists essentially of a mandrel 30 and there is a drive whorl 14, rotatably mounted in the transport disc 5 via a roller bearing 29.
  • the arbor 30 is designed in a star shape. Below the arbor 30 there are air guide channels 31, which transmit the negative pressure from the suction pipe 12 when the valve 13 is open, when the cop 1 is positioned next to the first preparation device 7, into the head sleeve 10.
  • This suction device 12, 13 is shown by broken lines, since at the same time the friction wheel drive 27 is shown, which, however, only rests in the position of the cop 1 next to the second preparation device 6.
  • FIGS. 6 and 7 Compared to the previously described embodiment, in which the cops 1 are only plugged onto the arbors 30 of the transport disk, a variant is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 in which the cops 1 are provided on pallets 32.
  • These pallets 32 are inserted in a known manner from a cop feed 3 into the carrier unit of the transport disk 5.
  • the swivel arms 35 open, which are always kept so wide open by stops 36 that a pallet 32 can be inserted.
  • the pallet 32 rolls on the guide rollers 34 until it rests on the stationary rollers 33.
  • the pivot arms 35 close behind the pallet 32 due to the force of the torsion springs 37. All four rollers 33 and 34 then lie against the pallet 32. This ensures reliable guidance of the pallet 32.
  • both the stationary rollers 33 and the guide rollers 34 are stepped, whereby the pallet 32 is pressed onto the plate 41 by means of the compression springs 38.
  • This shape of the holder ensures that the pallet 32 rests in the center, which is necessary for the rotation on the second preparation device 6.
  • the star-shaped arbor 30 ' has paragraphs 42 which serve as a support for the cop 1. This creates a distance between the sleeve base and the base plate of the pallet 32 and thus openings that are on the ground the star-shaped design of the mandrel 30 'extend into the sleeve interior.
  • suction pipes 12 ' are arranged above the transport disk 5 and transmit the suction flow which is necessary at the first preparation device for sucking the beginning of the thread into the head sleeve.
  • These suction tubes 12 ' enclose the base of the mandrel 30' at least partially in the working position in order to be able to transmit the suction flow independently of the position of the pallet 32 safely into the sleeve interior.
  • the plate 41 protrudes slightly beyond the transport disk 5. Rounding off the edges of the pallet 32 and the plate 41 enables the pallet 32 to be inserted without problems.
  • a switch 39 can also be arranged in this variant such that a nose of the swivel arm 35 actuates this switch when the pallet 32 is inserted.
  • first guideway 43 which can again be formed by carrier units of a transport disc 5, the transfer position 4 for the feed of cops of the first category, the first preparation device 7 for cops of the first category, a transfer device 45 'to the buffer store 45 Transfer position of the prepared cops to the cops removal track 8, a transfer device 46 ⁇ from the intermediate storage 46 and then the feed for cops of the first category arranged in this order again.
  • the second guideway 44 On the second guideway 44 are after the transfer devices 46 'and 45 ⁇ to / from the first guideway 43 the cop feed 3' of cops of the second category, the second preparation device 6 and the ejection 8 'arranged for multiple unpreparable cops. If a cop 1 is fed to the first guideway 43 at the transfer position 4, it is prepared accordingly at the first preparation device 7 and passed on to the cop removal path 8, where it is transferred from the transport disc 5 to the cop removal path 8. If the inspector 20 recognizes at the first preparation device 7 that the cop is a second category, it is signaled to the central unit 50 'that the cop 1 at the transfer device 45' is to be transferred from the transport disc 5 to the buffer store 45.
  • the intermediate store 45 for example consisting of a conveyor belt with transport pockets, is moved step by step by a motor 54. Such a movement step is always initiated after the transfer of a cop 1 to this buffer 45.
  • the cops 1 of the second category are transported to the second guideway 44 in the buffer. If such a cop 1 reaches the transfer device 45 ⁇ , it is transferred at this point to the second guideway, which is formed by a transport disk 5 '.
  • a photo sensor 47 it is checked whether the carrier unit of the transport disk 5 'opposite the transfer device 45' is occupied by a cop 1 in circulation on the second guide track 44. In this case, the photo sensor 47 triggers a lock for the transfer of the cop 1 located in the intermediate store 45 to the second guideway 44.
  • the transport disc 5 ' is cyclically driven by the motor 55.
  • the cop 1 transferred to the second guideway 44 is gradually fed to the second preparation device 6, which searches for the thread on the entire cop surface in a known manner and applies it as an overwind on the sleeve tip.
  • This second preparation device 6 has a photo sensor 48 (see FIG. 3) which monitors the detection of the beginning of the thread. If this photosensor 48 detects a thread, the cop 1 is classified in the first category and on the transfer device 46 ' transfer the buffer 46.
  • This buffer 46 works analogously to the buffer 45 and is gradually moved by a motor 53.
  • the cops 1 are returned to the first guideway 43 at the transfer device 46 ⁇ . This return is possible in any case, since the transfer device 46 ′′ is always opposed to empty carrier units. This is ensured that after the classification of the cops 1 in the first preparation device 7, the cops of the second category at the transfer device 45 'and the cops of the first category at the transition to the cops removal path 8 are eliminated from the
  • this cop 1 is transported to the transfer position 4, where it blocks the supply of a cop 1 from the ring spinning machine via the photosensor 40 and the central unit 50 '. Since it was transferred to the first category, this cop 1 is processed further, as are the cops of the first category that were fed in by the ring spinning machine. If the photosensor 48 on the second preparation device 6 has not recognized a thread, the transfer to the buffer 46 at the transfer device 46 'is blocked. As a result, this cop 1 is again fed to the second preparation device 6.
  • a shift register 51 can be used to set the number of unsuccessful rotations of a cop 1 in the second guideway 44 after which it is ejected at position 8 'and later stored in a collecting container. If the absolute exception occurs that a cop 1 cannot be transferred to the second guideway 44 at the same time and a cop 1 is moved from the first guideway 43 to the intermediate store 45, then the cop 1 positioned in the transfer device 45 'is placed in the intermediate store 45 returned.
  • a photosensor 49 is arranged on the transfer device 45 ', which in the case of an occupied transport bag the central unit 50 'triggers the switching of further transport steps of the motor 54. As a result, transfer to the buffer store 45 can always take place.
  • the conveyor belts of the intermediate stores 45 and 46 can run continuously, as a result of which the pick-up and delivery of cops 1 or pallets 32 become independent of one another.
  • the central unit 50 controls the two motors 52 and 55, which drive the transport disks 5 and 5' step by step. Furthermore, the central unit 50 'controls the motors 53 and 54 which drive the intermediate storage 45 and 46. In addition, the transfer devices 45 'and 45' of the intermediate store 45 and 46 'and 46' of the intermediate store 46 and the ejections 8 and 8 'are controlled by it. In contrast to the fixed, cyclical control of the transport disks 5 and 5 ', the other control signals depend on the course of the process. Therefore, the central unit 50 'is connected to the sensors 20, 40, 47, 48 and 49.
  • the latter variant of the invention has the advantage that the first guideway 43 is not loaded with rotating cops 1 of the second category. This ensures a maximum output of properly prepared cops 1 to the winding machine.
