Claims (6)

  1. Dispositif pour sécher un matériau photographique (2) jusqu'à une teneur en humidité finale désirée à partir d'une teneur en humidité initiale, le dispositif comprenant :
       un moyen de chauffage (4, 4′) pour appliquer la chaleur à au moins une face du matériau (2), ledit moyen de chauffage comprenant un premier étage d'élément chauffant (4) et un second étage d'élément chauffant (4′),
       un moyen de capteurs (14) pour mesurer la teneur en humidité restante dans le matériau (2) après qu'il ait reçu la chaleur du premier étage d'élément chauffant (4), et
       un moyen de commande (24) pour commander le second étage d'élément chauffant (4′),
       caractérisé en ce que le moyen de chauffage (4, 4′) est constitué d'un moyen de chauffage à infrarouge disposé de sorte que le matériau qui doit être séché passe directement à partir du premier étage d'élément chauffant (4) au second étage d'élément chauffant (4′) et en ce que le moyen de capteurs (14) délivre un signal de sortie au moyen de commande (24) qui commande la quantité supplémentaire de séchage requise dans le second étage d'élément chauffant (4′) afin d'atteindre ladite teneur en humidité finale désirée.
  2. Dispositif selon la revendication 1, comprenant de plus un moyen de soufflerie (6) pour souffler de l'air sur au moins une face du matériau (2) le moyen de soufflerie (6) étant commandé par le moyen de commande (24).
  3. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel le moyen de capteur (14) est un capteur capacitif.
  4. Dispositif selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel le moyen de capteur (14) est un capteur à résistance conductrice de contact.
  5. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comportant un autre moyen de capteurs (22) pour détecter la teneur en humidité finale du matériau (2).
  6. Dispositif selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel le matériau (2) est sous forme de feuille ou de bande.
