Abstract

La technique du sous-échantillonnage est notoirement utilisée dans un grand nombre de dispositifs de formation d'images à semi-conducteurs (appareils de reproduction photographique, par exemple) pour afficher une image dans le viseur de l'appareil. Dans le cas où un filtre couleur en mosaïque est utilisé, un certain nombre de lignes de différentes couleurs doivent être lues chaque fois pendant le sous-échantillonnage afin de préserver les données chromatiques. Dans le cas d'un affichage en mode entrelacé, cette technique peut occasionner une distorsion de l'image. La présente invention fournit un procédé de sous-échantillonnage qui permet d'afficher l'image avec une distorsion faible ou nulle tout en préservant les données chromatiques.
