SISTEMA DE SUMINISTRO DE UN MEDICAMENTO OFTALMICO ADMINISTRABLE POR VIA TOPICA Y METODO CORRESPONDIENTE. SR FORMULAN CON UN MEDICAMENTO OFTALMICO, MEDIOS ACUOSOS, POLIMEROS LIGERAMENTE RETICULADOS, RESULTANTES DE POLIMERIZAR AL MENOS 90% EN PESO DE UN MONOMERO MONOETILENICAMENTE INSATURADO CON UN AGENTE RETICULANTE POLIFUNCIONAL Y DOTADOS DE UN TAMAÑO DE PARTICULAS NO SUPERIOR A 50 MICRAS/M EN DIAMETRO ESFERICO EQUIVALENTE, OBTENIENDOSE SUSPENSIONES QUE TIENEN 0,1-6,5% EN PESO DEL POLIMERO, UN PH DE 3,0-6,5 Y UNA PRESION OSMOTICA DE 10-400 MOSM, APTAS PARA DAR SISTEMAS OFTALMICOS TOPICOS DE VISCOSIDAD SUFICIENTEMENTE BAJA PARA PERMITIR SU FACIL ADMINISTRACION EN FORMA DE GOTAS. ESTAS SUSPENSIONES SE GELIFICAN RAPIDAMENTE AL CONTACTO CON EL FLUIDO LACRIMAL Y PERMANECEN MUCHO TIEMPO EN SU SITIO, PROPORCIONANDO UNA LIBERACION SOSTENIDA DEL MEDICAMENTO.
